label of failure of OCR

I'm new to OR vision and in the process of drafting the label control. The goal is to verify all of the printed labels are no defects before ship out to the customer.

the step is: -.

1. I have formed an image of 'A' in the vision of OCR/ORV Wizard and saved in a file characther.

2. I inspect the letter 'A' back partition is 1000 (as aspected because that I trained with the same picture)

3. I voluntarily change the letter 'A' paint wipe a line down the middle and save as new image, but when you use OCR/OCV always read 'A' (infact it default already)

4. try the game with the threshold size, read option setting still not able to get my result expected.

question:

1. how I don't see the failure of the letter 'A '? the score is very high as well (999) after I purposely default it.

2. the wizard of vision claim he can do the OCR/OCV, but I only see OCR function and is unrelated to the function of GCO.

Hi Klloo

By controlling the size of the characters, you can fail A vice.

    Hi @nrasupporter ,

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. It's a great site for information and questions. I looked in your question about your HP Pavilion Notebook 17 - f122ds and label identification failure MAL3H3-78C7L8-MFPV7F-60U303. This error is failure of Quick Test on drive 1. What this means is that your hard drive has failed.

I recommend the first thing you can do is to back up all your personal files etc as soon as you can.

The laptop suffered a Jolt any? I was wondering if maybe reinstalling the HARD disk would be useful.

Here is a link to check to see if you are in warranty. Page 35 of your manual shows you part numbers. It's the section I would use 778192-005 1 TB hard drive 5400 RPM, available for Windows 8.1 9.5 mm. Page 95 shows you how to remove the HARD drive.

Do not hesitate tocontact us if you need assistance.

  • calibration Executive report failure

Hello. I have a problem regarding the report generated by the Executive of the calibration. After a successful completion of the procedure for the PXI-5402 generator with no failure, it generates failures on the column "as left" of the results of the tests. I noticed that the low limits and high limits of the column "as left" differs from the limits "as found". is this acceptable? in the left data limits are much tighter than the data that is found as a result of the values measured for fail in the report.

    Please advise...

    Kind regards

    Laura

    Hello

These results make sense, given that the column "As Left" is supposed to reflect the results measured after adjustment. That's why this column limits are more stringent than the column ' as found '. I wasn't aware that you were doing a check only. It's actually good that both of your tests more strict limits, which means that they held their initial calibration well enough.

Basically, the label of 'Failure' in the column "As Left" is meaningless, unless you're of failing once you have made an adjustment to the Board of Directors. I think you're ready for the verification of the calibration stage since none of the measures ' as found ' failed. Have fun with the adjustments.

  • Failure on label printing

Hi, at the and of the test failure, I have the need to print the message of failure on the label. I need to print: SequenceName testName, measurement, high limit, low.

Is there something already implemented in TestStand? What is the right approach, should I use the reminder "SequeneFilePostStepFailure"?

    Thank you very much.

    Hello

    Try to use "Parameters.Step.Name".

Why you will not see it?  Because you go to the step of the object. and the name of the property

For more information look in TS-help under the terms of the Index 'Step '.

In this thread, there is a fine example of this reminder

  • OCR - water bottle label

I'm trying to do OCR to extract the water bottle label, but im not getting any closer. The water bottle label looks like the Arial font, Ive trained with the arial font characters. I tried fiddling with the settings and exposure to the light... but still not good.

I am using the video stream, so even trying to reduce the size of the buffer but does not work...

    Any recommendations?

    Thanks /.

Increase the image brightness and/or contrast would probably increase the accuracy of the OCR also.

  • HP ENVY Phoenix 810-445qe: specifications of need on 14.79 GB "Disk 1" labelled "Datadrive1 (e).

I spent the last few days setting up a brand new HP ENVY Phoenix 810 - 445qe I ordered from HP.com. (Information system down in the case, it may be necessary.)

I did what all the new owners of the system should do after you set up the system: I did a DVD repair system, and am about to do my first image with Windows 7 (64 bit) backup.

Of course, when you perform an image backup (which is like making a photocopy of your hard drive to a point in time) you can not store this backup on the same drive you're imaging, for the obvious reason that you can not write to disk at the same time you are Imaging it. If the image backup dialog box gave me three options of storage location:

    (1) Datadrive1 (E)
    (2) WD MyBook external hard drive (G)
    (3) Blu - Ray / DVD / CD drive (F)

I was curious about the "Datadrive1" because I didn't know that's where! I don't me read something about it, then I went to control panel > system and security > ' Create and format hard disk partitions "(under administrative tools on the system menu and security - or the type of management of the computer in the Start Menu) to take a look at the drives and partitions.

This computer was said to come with a SATA 3 TB and because disk 0 is close to 3 TB, with a labeled 100 MB partition "EFI System Partition" a 2779,01 GB NTFS partition labeled "OS (C)" and an "HP RECOVERY (D)." 15,28 labeled GB NTFS partition So, there we have the bootloader partition, the partition of operating system Windows 7 and the HP recovery partition.

But there is also a 'disc 1' labeled 'DATADRIVE1 (E)"formatted as one 14.79 GB NTFS partition. I was surprised to see this data disc, because one of my complaints about HP computers in the past (or at least those available through Best Buy) was that they were always set up with one disc for the operating system and data. (It is always a bad idea to host your data on the same drive that your operating system, because the system disks get use more heavy and are more prone to failure.)

I recognized my Western Digital My Book 1 TB drive disc 2, entitled ' My Book (G) ' and formatted as a single partition NTFS of GB 931,48. It is the external drive only, I am informed, plugged into one of the USB 3.0 ports.

So I called the support for questions on disk 1. Where is he? Is what kind of drive? Is what brand? Etc, etc. HP support officer did not know the answer to that! She told me that my system only comes with an internal hard drive and therefore that * must * be an external drive belonging to me. I have an external USB drive connected but it's G drive.

The only USB devices connected physically are: dongle USB wireless keyboard and mouse from HP; My WD My Book drive; and a HP Photosmart C5180 all-in-One printer with nothing plugged into its card reader, who can't stand not anything on the order of 14.79 GB anyway.

I would like to know the details about this DATADRIVE1, because) I don't really know what it is and if I should write data there and b) do not know how stable the device is. Thanks in advance for your help.

  • Adding absence of steps to a label

    Hi guys,.

I feel that this probably isn't a big deal to implement, but I'm still a little new to teststand and hope you can help.  I'm printing a label on the DUT pass include:

    1. number of product

    2 serial number

    3. check the date and time

To do this, I'll call a labview VI to manage this and passing parameters.  However, now I need to implement a tag that is printed upon failure of the UUT.  The necessary information are the three elements as well as the addition of the name of the faltering steps.

How can I do to get the faltering steps OM n to switch to a VI print a label?  In addition, the use of a reminder would be logical in a case like this?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

I have attached a sequence that stores the names of the failure of all the steps failed except call sequence.

Check the file globals. A FailureStr that contains all the stage names.

    I hope this helps.

It's the idea that deactivation of LabVIEW RT logging of errors will decrease even more the impact of corruption?

The detail is recognizing the character of a label, after a treatment (see photos), the rate of correct recognition is still not satisfactory. I'm trying to segment them and extract the skeleton of each character. All of the above operations, the result can be better. I knew there is a special function (Segmentation.vi, Skeleton.vi) VI, also tried, in vain. • Four cameras to inspect the label presence / Date / batch Code

    Hello

We intend to use four color cameras (more probably Firewire) to inspect the right label presence (attached image), Date / batch Code (most likely a match and no OCR/OCV), liquid level and presence of Cap. The speed of the conveyor is 240 bottles per minute (ongoing). As the bottles are rotating, there is no fixed orientation of the label. Thus, we intend to capture 4 frames on each trigger, to assemble and to inspect for a suitable Date and batch number, correct label, liquid level and correct the blockage. Good level of liquid is always above the label, so it shouldn't be a problem.

We need a software / hardware recommendations for the cost of work effectively. For example, can VBAI as well as NI EVS-1464RT work for this application, or do we need to Labview and the Vision Development Module? We have the best price / performance for this application.

Any comments / suggestion should be highly appreciated.

    Dear Faisal,

VBAI does not include the steps to assemble the images, I suggest you LabVIEW and the Vision Development Module development.  If you want to use the EVS-1464RT, you will also need a copy of LabVIEW RT.  Note: the Vision Development Module can be purchase as a bundle with LabVIEW RT, see http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/207699.

Another way to achieve your goal of a 360 degree view of the bottle would be to use a lens Opto pericentrique Engineering, see http://www.opto-engineering.com/pericentric-lenses.html.  This would allow you to use a camera.

  • TouchSmart tx2-1370us Recovery Disc Set failure

I am writing on behalf of my sister.  Here is his story:

Screen of her laptop TouchSmart tx2-1370us broke earlier.  It's under warranty where she bought in so he was expelled to be repaired.  When he returned, the screen has been set, but there was a note indicating that they had lost its Windows 7.  The computer loaded and executed perfectly, but it was the pop-up "is not a genuine copy of windows.  She claims that she was unable to read the sticker product key the computer good enough to get it to accept anything, she entered.  When she called the store, they said that HP would be able to help get it back.  HP sold its recovery disks which were to restore the computer.  It is a 3 disc set, marked 2 System Recovery DVD Windows 7 Home Premium and 1 additional CD labeled Application & Driver recovery CD.  CDs ran several times still to come as fruitless after the first 2 CDs.  I won't get in his experience of the customer support, but she claims that she spoke on the phone with HP 6 times in the course of a week and nothing they had to say or to offer.  Always unsuccessful recovery message.  She abandoned, almost crying at this time, and I said I'll try.

After a bit of searching I found a patch on the HP website that would supposedly solve the problem of recovery disks.  The patch was properly installed, green checkmark and all, and all 3 CDs was successfully.  The computer restarts, the screen of the Installation of the HP software ran for a while before another restart then the usual recovery failure message.  I tried many times with the same result every time.  I saved the newspaper from the last go to it and post it below.  It seems the States BIOS Vista as OS, but she bought the computer pre-loaded with Windows 7.  Could there be something in that fact cause a problem?

Someone suggested to reset the BIOS to factory default, but that didn't work either.

When you save the log to USB, I could see all of the files, there are 3 readers listed SDV (C Local disk (D & BOOT (X))

For any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

    Lets take a chance it's for W7

Go here and download the correct version of W7 (home or pro, they have not a starter edition), version 32 or 64 bit and the language, it's going to be a file iso very large, once downloaded, burn it to a blank disc DVD + R as an Image, this can be done on a Windows 7 PC, right-click on the iso file and select 'Open with' > 'windows disc image burner.

    http://www.mydigitallife.info/official-Windows-7-SP1-ISO-from-Digital-River/

This will make a regular windows 7 installation disc allows you to get Windows installed, use the key to see if it will be ignited.

Then, you will need to download the drivers for your specific model on the HP site and install it.

    Hello

D: is not a partition backup of your machine.

Acer has a time set up their machines to the way yours is:

They had a C: drive for the operating system, a drive D: for data (music, movies, etc you would like to register and a recovery partition 'hidden' to reinstall the operating system and to make the recovery discs to do the same thing.)

You can merge C: and D: as a whole, BUT save all data on D: first because it will be deleted when you merge.

"How delete and extend a Partition with Vista disk management"

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/95418-disk-management-delete-extend.html

And YES, you back up the data on an external hard drive in case of hard drive failure, the corruption of the system, etc.

    See you soon.

I guess that the hard drive is a gonner. Is this correct?

    Hi Mario,.

Personally, I recommend to replace the hard drive yourself - it is a surprisingly simple process (and much cheaper).  A brief guide on this is detailed below.

Your computer is listed as coming with a 500 GB hard drive, but you can also easily install a 750 GB HARD drive if you want a little more space - readers at the following links are examples that would be perfect for your laptop.

    Hard drive 500 GB

    750 GB hard drive.

The procedure to replace the hard drive begins on Page 61 of your & Maintenance Guide.

Once this is done, simply use your recovery media to reinstall the operating system on the new drive - this is described in the document of HP here.

If you do not have your recovery media, let me know because there is another option, you can use it as long as you can clearly read the activation of 25-character product key on your label COST.

I tried to change the SATA to IDE modes and also tried to change the drive cable with a good known as cable replacement of the drive with my own staff known good disk.  My drive BSOD after logo loading, normal since this window of Windows has been installed on different hardware.

It has come to my attention of a few Documenhts from HP that the recovery media was probably linked to the new format of addvanced AF with 4 KB vs 512 k sectors, whereas if I replace the drive by another AF I should be good to factory reset?

My concern is that some messages on the reguarding BIOHD1 through 3 form that replaces the hard drive works sometimes for a few months and then fails, but the real problem is that the faulty motherboard.  I don't want my friend to pay for the drive and it does not work, or it does not, but only for a few months until the bios cannot communicate with him again.

Test CPU and tests of memory are ok.  DVD rom as well, that there is no other material other then a wifi card and hard drive.

I can't find the list of motherboards pavilion recalled to check if this Pegation M2N78 - figure.

Can someone advice me about the best next step.  Can I replace with another drive that is compatible AF or do I have to replace the motherboard.

    Hello:

I think the motherboard of your model is notorious for failures of controller sata as evidenced in these numerous threads below.

    Hello

My HP Pavilion media center m8100n shows "Disk Boot Failure, Insert system Disk"

I searched on HP support, but I couldn't find a solution from the recovery disk is not available

    Any help would be appreciated

    You are the very welcome.

Somewhere on the top or side of your PC case, there should be a multicolored Microsoft Certificate label of authenticity (COA) with 25-digit Windows Vista product key.

    It should look like this.
