LabVIEW touchscreen e pulsanti

STO makes UN programma che will be free in Labview, knew a pc all-in-one touch screen above, dove went di UN pressure pulsating viene restituita in uscita una stringa di testo semplice.
Ho misconfigured it pulsating prick "Mechanical Action latch release", in modo tale che finchè premuto, Indicatore contains written una stringa e, quando it pulsating viene left stringa e vuota (allego UN esempio in Labview 2012).
He problema e che col mouse tutto funziona a Elster, mentre col touch screen quando tengo premuto sullo screen instead Taste it pulsate e come to usassi it looping destro del mouse (esce the pulsating delle Proprietà del tendina).
È modo (senza andare nel pannello di controllo di Windows) di manage da Labview it touch in modo che if comporti come to solo utilizzassi it looping Sinestro del mouse, insomma in modo tale che a pressure prolungata known screen it pulsating risulti actually premuto?

Hello sepp74,

  • How can I control external devices using a stand-alone touchscreen with a LabVIEW app

For my senior project my group design and created a vehicle for extended range hybrid with 90 Li + battery which is charged by a 15 kW generator and/or who is also charged by a 5 kW fuel cell. Currently, our system is able to measure the tension on batteries and display them on a laptop via LabVIEW. To process these data, we use a cRIO FPGA. What we would like to do now, is having a touch screen for the pilot to choose which loads of source of battery power so that monitor a pressure reading from the fuel tank.

What kind of touch screens to LabVIEW to be downloaded on and used for controls?

A cRIO has the necessary capacity to supply such a screen and handle the transfer of the data from the sensor fuel and relay (for turning on and off will deepen)?

Do I need an additional license to create stand-alone applications and how I would go about creating a stand-alone application?

Sorry for the question as much. Any help with the answer. Thank you!

NEITHER sells computers touch screen that can be used to control LabVIEW applications.  You can find more information here: HMIS and industrial touch panels and here: LabVIEW Real-time and Touch Panel Deployment and replication resources. Our computers 6-inch touchscreen , run Windows CE, programming on them is a little different from the programming on a full Windows operating system.  You can find useful getting started with LabVIEW Touch Panel Module .

You can use third-party with the LabVIEW Touch Panel Module devices, although it takes a deployment license for it.  More information can be found in the getting started guide.

If you were able to send the information of cRIO on a network (which according to your description, seems unlikely), you can use a smartphone to control your application.  More information on our community of Smartphone group.

If you use the 6-inch touchscreen panels, they need 18 to 32 VDC (the fuse becomes an open circuit if the input level exceeds 33 VDC).  The transfer of data from the switching relay can be monitored and changed with the touch screen.

If you have traveled the road of the touch panel, you need to purchase the LabVIEW Touch Panel Module and a touchscreen.  Touchscreens OR have a touch panel deployment license.  Guides step by step to create the stand-alone application are in the getting started with LabVIEW Touch Panel Module .

  • touchscreen compact Rio

    Hello world!

I'm developing an application to control a cooler with Labview 2012 and Compact RIO. I would like to create a group of GUI to visualize data and a basic control.

However, I would like to use a touchscreen to third party (not OR). Purchase the Labview Touch Panel module can I do?

My question is: if it's just a screen and not a PC, simply by connecting to the RIO Compact RS232 port and launch of real-time application,

It will allow me to control the VI?

    Thank you!

I don't see why not.  You need to just make a protocol of good communications between your cRIO and computers touch screen.  I find a network stream to work very well.

  • Transparency feature for under 2011 LabView touch panel module

    Hello

I develop applications of touch panel for several years now. With LabView 2011, we can't not, to set the color of the pushbuttons to transparency.

You have this function lost with Labview 2011? Or have I missed a particular setting?

With the latest updates to Labview 2009 and LabView 2010, touch panel module has not changed at all.

    Thank you very much

    Magnus

    Hello Magnus,

After that I tried to reproduce your transparency lost on a touchscreen in LabVIEW 2011

I had the same green bar instead of a transparent button like you.

In LabVIEW 2010, the button is transparent.

I made a type definition with a push button, where I enter a rectangle colored (like your logo).

    but it did not work.

After that, I asked a specialist of the touch panel in our Department. He said, that

It often occurs on many touch screens with versions of windows this 5.0 and lower.

    But no solutions yet.

Sorry I can't tell you more about this problem.

Perhaps, you take the module LabVIEW touch panel for this project 2010.

  • By using Labview 7.1 created EXE in Windows Mobile 6.0

Can I use my edition of the profeesion of 7.1 to create EXE files to run on Windows Mobile 6.0?  I created EXE files and then run directly on touch screen XP embedded without special Touchscreen Mobule.  I was wondering if this is possible under Windows Mobile 6.0?

This does not work for various reasons. First XP Embedded is just XP with more control on which modules to install and what not. Second reason, it also only works on Intel/AMD x 86 processors. So if you create an executable in LabVIEW for Windows, it will run under XP embedded too, provided that you do not access system services that have not been installed on your XP embedded system.

Laptop (or as it was earlier called Windows CE) is built in the same way as the Windows API but is not the same. Applications are only (with many limits) source compatible between laptop and normal Windows, but absolutely not binary compatible. Also all Mobile PC systems running on a RISC CPU as the ARM architecture. For these processors has compiled executable for the x 86 CPU architecture is simply a waste of bytes no meaning whatsoever.

As says altenbach that LabVIEW PDA module to create executable files for Mobile PC systems. But beware, portable PC systems are not at all comparable to desktop systems. The performance of your hardware is magnitudes less, Windows CE (laptop) API is much narrower than on the Windows desktop and PDA module also for this reason has its own limitations. Do not expect a sign before be worn flawlessly to your PDA. There is much less control to choose and also the limited screen real estate is another severe limitation on applications of port Office seamlessly to a PDA.

  • LabVIEW 2015 SP1 missing palette for target touchpanel

    Hello

I had an interesting problem for my installation of sp1 LabVIEW 2015.

When I select a new project for a target of touchscreen, I don't get the palettes to add functions and commands.

The palettes appear, but they are empty.  (Note that if the target is 'My Computer', everything works fine)

After a lot of head scratches and research here, I found that there is a way to manually load the .mnu files to fill palettes.  All seemed well until what all I'm back have had a lot of icons with? in them.

I then tried to install it on some other machines and they all worked well.

Then, I discovered that when you choose a location to load the files .mnu, on my main pc, with the question, he kept pointing to a directory other than the one on my work pc...  I've searched and searched but cannot find where LabVIEW gets to this place.  All my paths are the default.  I even checked the registry keys (that I can find) and they are all ok also.

So, I finished to cheat and copy the .mnu files in the path, its research and its working now.  I am not happy with that as its limit causing me problems if there are updates etc...

My pc was looking for this path

My work pc has been searching for this

I'm guessing that my problem will be solved by resetting the locations by default of LabVIEW, but I can't find a way to do it.   I've done several uninstalls / reinstalls and no still no luck.  If anyone knows where these values are stored, so please let me know.

    Concerning

    Andy

    Hi Andreas,

    Thanks for the reply.

I have now managed to solve my problem.

It seems that one of my components labview has not activate properly when I applied the license key.

I ended up asking another activation (via the online system) and it looks like its all working now.

Not sure why LabVIEW behaved as he did, and why there is no indication of a license number.

    Very strange.

  • LabVIEW Runtime engine on Windows Embedded Standard 7 P 32 / 64-bit?

Any who tried never to install and run the LabVIEW Runtime Engine (2011 or later version) on Windows Embedded Standard 7 P 32 / 64-bit?

I'm trying to figure out if this will work, for example on a CX5120 PC Beckhoff embedded. I have to have some TCP/IP communication simple to exchange information with another PC, but nothing else, i.e. drivers, etc...

I hope that someone tried to do already. I don't have the right equipment now to check it out.

As NEITHER sells touchscreens with WES7 installed here: http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/210551 it's pretty safe to assume that they used the RTE on WES7.

    But yes, it is done.

  • Shared variables with touchscreen of TPC-2106

I can't work with a TPC-2106 Touch Panel shared Variables.  I am hosting a Board 9642 sbRIO variables.  I built a test VI to run from the hard drive, and I can edit and read variables that VI.  When a generation a VI to run it on the touch screen works, but he can't read or write on all shared variables.  No error is shown during the execution of the VI.

It seems that I is not need to take special steps to install support for this version of touch panel by: http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/372507A-01/lvtpcgsm/tpc_install_sharvar/

I tried the "Shared Variable.lvproj" sample project that is supposed to generate weather information and then transfer it to the touch screen.  The weather data are generated and displayed by VI on my PC.  The VI on the touch screen works, but never any weather data updated.

I use LabVIEW 8.6 with touchscreen, FPGA and real-time modules installed.

I have the touch screen connected via an Ethernet cable directly to my PC.  I assigned an IP address to the touch screen manually.

Problem is solved using an Ethernet crossover cable instead of a standard cable.

  • My touchscreen is unresponsive after ios 9.3.2 and apple support isn't helpful!

My 5s, 16 GB iPhone was working fine until the 9.3 ios updated. After that, I started to see the shift in my touch screen. After the 9.3.1 it began to increase and in ios 9.3.2 it became worse. Two days before my touch screen froze and I couldn't do anything. I tried 'restart', nothing has worked. I tried to reset my touch screen started working fine again. I've restored my itunes backup and screen frozen again.

From there, I tried resetting twice but nothing works the lock screen works sometimes and then touch screen freezes after that the phone is unlocked. The "home" button and the power button works and responds very well.

I contacted Apple imagine Service Center, but they have not even check it with the technicians. They saw my phone simply go outside, asked if it is in warranty, and when I said 'NO', they said we must change the touchscreen with a value of 12 000 rupees. I asked them to downgrade from iOS, but they told me that they do the downgrade at all.

For updating a buggy software, I should pay 12 000 rupees to continue using my mobile. I called the phone number of Apple, but the recorded voice put me on hold for 20 minutes before I finished the call in frustration.

Don't know what to do! Wasted my money for a phone expensive buggy! Advice in this regard are very much appreciated, thank you.

Where did you buy this phone? It can be repaired in the country where you purchased it. No wonder if they refused a maintenance operation if it was bought abroad. iPhones don't have international warranty. Updates don't cause physical problems. Most likely your device has a hardware problem. In any case, you can try several troubleshooting steps (restore to factory as the last hope)

Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
    • Press and hold the Home button
    • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

Take a look this Apple Support article: use iTunes to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.

  • screen iPhone touchscreen stop working after updating IOS 9.3.2

My phone was working without any problem and update the IOS 9.3.2 jumps on my phone. I update my phone as I normally. Now, the screen touch freaking work not AT ALL!

I tried a hard reboot I read MANY MANY MANY other users have this exactly the same problem. I tried to restore my phone and can't do same. Now my Itunes has decided on his OWN that is has an encrypted password that I NEVER put.

I'm so SICK of Apple, trying to fix 1 thing in IOS updates only break 50 other things!

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Technical support has been less helpful on the phone. They advised me to put out a follow-up movement in my privacy settings and it should fix the problem. It would be GREAT if the touchscreen works! Morans!

iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.2,and WORSE NEVER UPDATE!

I had problems with touch-screen with my iPhone 5 s immediately after the update to 9.3.2. It was very frustrating - the screen would bounce around to choose things that I wasn't tapping and scrolling fast and sometimes simply freeze completely for a few seconds. I've never had problems before update!

I have not found how to fix 9.3.2,and but I managed to restore my OS to 9.3.1 (which solved the problem of the touch screen) until the next version of iOS comes out which will be hopefully resolve this issue.

Here are the directions that I followed to roll back my iOS: http://www.gottabemobile.com/2016/05/16/how-to-downgrade-ios-9-3-2-to-ios-9-3-1/
