• DSC error: IAK_SHARED failed to start the service

  When I try to deploy a shared variable library, she fails to deploy and gives me the following message: error:-1967362042, IAK_SHARED: (Hex 0x8ABC7006) failed to start the service.  I'm using LabVIEW 8.6 with DSC 8.6.  I tried to run one of the examples (the example of the heat exchanger).  Any ideas?  I have LabVIEW 8.5 installed as well (many of my clients are still using it), and I got 8.5 installed DSC.  Shall 8.5 DSC be uninstalled everything first?

  Hi Tom,

  This means that your installation is corrupted and some components SQL do not settle down with it. I would advise to uninstall completely and then put it back using the installation CD you have. I hope this helps.

  Hello.

  I'm reading some historical traces, but I get error-1967362041 and the message:

  HIST_ReadNumericTraceCORE.VI, \\hostname\library\Variable: IAK_SHARED: (Hex 0x8ABC7007) out of reach.

  This happens when using VI server to run my remote application, if I run the application locally, it works normally.

  The VI Server interferes with DSC?

  I found the error: I created an 'Options' for ReadTraces.vi control but somehow left the interpolation interval as 0.

  I never thought it was a problem to interpolate the data being False.

  I wonder why is the required interval if there is no interpolation...

  Why the CyberShot DSC-F717 camera gives "format error" message when you insert a memory stick like 128 MB?

  The F717 was designed at the time where the Memory Sticks (the original "Memory Sticks") only has a maximum capacity of 128 MB. Since the F717, Sony has continued to improve its range of products Memory Stick, including the Memory Stick Select, which can still be used in the F717, as well as the PRO Duo, PRO Duo and others, which cannot be used [in bold to make part of my answer more. claire-TCav] in the F717.

  Later versions of the Sony cameras can use later versions of the Memory Stick, but the F717 is limited to the Memory Stick, which was produced at the time wherever it was built.

  I try to call a web service with the activity to invoke the Web Service in livecycle ES4 and it gives me an error of the Invocation.

  Here's the thing.

  I tried to use a paste of direct copy of a soap of SOAPUI request where it works perfectly fine. What is more, I tried using this same copy paste in the part of the test of the activity to invoke the Web Service in livecycle where it also works perfectly well.

  When I try to call the process, however, it fails.

  Any ideas on how to solve it?

  I dug around a little in wireshark and found service response telling me the Content-Type is text/htmlwas invalid.

  I don't know why the appeal of SOAP livecycle would record as something else than to the soap xml element, but adding:at the beginning of our SOAP call has solved the problem.

• Creating custom activity (service DSC)... but get errors during the startup of service in workbench

  I have hands on development of the process. So I started to create a custom activity.

  I created an activity that takes input and gives a string after some calculations. But the program requires additional jar files that are included in the lib folder in my java project.

  I exported java project as a jar file and installed successfully in the workbench. But then that starts the component... get the error like:

  You will find a complete description of the error in the attachment. LC hope does not have the jars in the lib.

  Put the jar into the lib of the appserver folder is a way to get the class when running, but not all sites will let you do this because you simply put at the disposal of all works on the appserver.  In addition, now that you move your dsc to test to staging to production, you must remember to move the jar as well.

  The alternative is to include the jar in your DSC and referencing it in the classpath of node in the component.xml file.

  Just cash how the DSCs distributed it (adobe-remoteevents-dsc Watch 2 pots to the package root and both are referenced in the classpath of the component.xml.

• DSC - HX1 video reads system error C:32:01

  Camera will not record video, bed with flashing C:32:01 system error what can I do to solve this problem.

  First, make sure that you have copied existing images or video on the Memory Stick Duo on your computer. Subsequently, format the Memory Stick Duo in the unit as follows:

  1. press the MENU key.
  2. Select settings.
  3. Select memory stick tool.
  4. Select the Format.
  5. click on OK.

  Now try to make a video recording. If the error continues to appear, try to press the RESET button while the power is on to reset the unit to factory settings. Also consider trying a different Memory Stick Duo.

• DSC-WX350 shows 'unable to display' remains after the withdrawal of the card photos

  I'm having a problem with the DSC-WX350 seeing "ghosts" of the pictures after having been withdrawn to a computer.

  If I pop the camera card, stick it in a card reader and move photos the camera on my computer, as soon as I put the card in the WX350 seem to see fake photos files moved: it acts as if they were still there (info, date taken, keeps in the County of photo, etc.) but only shows an error "Unable to display" gray.

  I then manually delete each erroneous entry manually. As you can imagine, making whenever I have move photos from your camera is a pain in the *. I've looked through all the folders on the card and see anywhere that would be markers of remains of file or something else because of this problem. Any ideas why this happens?

  (FYI, the card has been formatted freshly correctly before using it in the camera.)

  Per this message on the card need to be formatted, I made several times now to try to circumvent the problem: formatting through the camera, formatting through the computer, formatting the computer, then the camera... After each time the test photo, I take and then remove while the card is located on the computer returns an error "Unable to display the image" ghost once the card in the camera.

  This is ridiculous. I will not be manually re-deletion of photos I moved your device every single timejust to avoid this * error. What happens here?

• Connect LabVIEW to Schneider Electric M258 Logic Controller (TM258LF42DT4L) error - 1967353901

  I was wondering if someone has never connected this particular PLC before LabVIEW. I'm trying to control instruments connected to this API. These instruments aren't NEITHER, therefore they that I could not directly connected to the device via USB, GPIB or VISA. Whenever I have try t connect following this tutorial OR (http://www.ni.com/tutorial/13911/en/), I have an error message to my shared variable.

  The possible reasons: LabVIEW DSC: (Hex 0X8ABC8FD3) the I/O modbus server cannot connect to the Modbus Ethernet slave device. Make sure that the slave Modbus Ethernet device working properly and that the connection between the master devices and Modbus slave is configured correctly.

  Any help on this approach or suggestion for others would be greatly appreciated.

  NOTE: This controller communicates with the CPU I use via a RS485 / RS232 serial port.

  I use 2013 LV 32-bit on W7 64-bit.  I talk to an industrial controller with Modbus to Ethernet.  My current software uses the interface modbus DSC, in which I define the bus Modbus itself within a library in the project, and then set each point Modbus as an address within this definition of modbus.  Inside LabVIEW, you can then get the data Modbus via shared Variables.  I am currently using the dynamic variable calls shared, rather than static variables shared.  I have points that are Boolean (coils) and real, with a read-only and a read/write.  In general, it all works.

  However, there is a real read/write that acts funny.  If I put a new value, or the industrial controller assigns a new value, the industrial controller Gets the new value.  Variable motor shared on my computer gets even the new value, as can be verified by opening the Distributed System Manager.  But LabVIEW continues to read the old value, without error.  Other points of read/write work very well, and I have looked on the definition of the address several times and cannot find any reason why this should be different than the others.

  Does anyone have any ideas why DSM sees a new value of a shared variable, without LabVIEW continues to get the old value?  I watched the init for the dynamics of SV case, and I see all the options I can change to try to solve this problem.  My next attempt will be to rewrite the entire auxiliary system so that it uses the most recent Modbus Library of NOR and ignores the whole thing of DSC.  It will be probably much better for other reasons as well.  I noticed that with DSC and the shared Variables, the first time that the program runs it starts fairly quickly, but subsequent executions can take up to two minutes to connect to the SV.

  I want to GSM(with labVIEW) and PLC interface, My PLC will work in serial port only.

  In my PC, I have 3 serial ports. before installing the DSC module in my system, I can configure the ports series all the... but, when I finished installation of the DSC module, 2 ports is not between these 3 serial ports. Before PRECAUTIONS, I can work with PLC and I can use other ports. After installation, I can't configure the serial ports... Hereby, I have attached the error with this...  Please help me soon...

  The Solution is, no need to install the VISA device drivers separately. Installing the DSC module only.

• error in deployment and solution of warning

  I did a DSC project in which I made a library. In the library, there are two virtual folders and two files shared variables. The variables in the files are identical in the properties but with different names like AI VFD in a virtual folder & AI_FP VFD in the other. In addition, AI VFD is linked with AI_FP VFD. Similarly all the variables in a single folder binded with the variables in the other folder.

  Few days back, the library was well and correct to be deployed on the host PC whenever necessary. But now I have the following error (including snapshot attached) whevever I try to deploy the library. I'm not sure where the error is that I changed the library with more variables, and it is possible that I have had landed, while editing, making some unintentional mistakes.

  Please help me if someone has the solution.

• Distance sign and DSC interfere?

  Hi, I'm wondering if the DSC or OPC intervenes to show my remote panel in an executable, since I installed them and now I can't see my web page. I mean the said instructions close Labview for access with the executable, done DSC or the variabel shared server or something interferes?

  I have a program that monitors the temperature for rooms with fruit, we acquire the time through modbus RTU and we see this info over the internet.
  First of all I did with modbus library and it worked, we had the web page through remote panels and web publishing tool.

  The DSC execution engine will be sufficient for the deployment of the project to a new computer. The runtime equals the DSC Module, but you can do any programming with it. You will need to purchase a separate license for the license of execution for each deployment also computer.

• Chrashed Application LabView sometimes - OPC, DSC, database

  I have a problem with LabView. IAM using 8.6 with DSC. I have an OPC Server with 400 Variables to read a 40 to write

  My first try was the connection to the server via Datasocket. The reading 400 variables was very fast, but writing 40 variables was very slow. Each write cycle takes 10-30 s. I need now about 300-500 ms. a second is also ok, but no more.

  After that, I created a mutual FUND I/O-Server in the library. I have create 10 variables in the same Libarary. I connect variables on the EVS to the IO server it works very well. Fast read and write. But if I use more than 6-8 variables to write shared variables that LabVIEW crashed or do nothing.

  So I used the right click on the digital control - data binding - Data Binding selection-> socket Data. On the server that I am looking for the variable on the opc server. (Example pathpc: / / localhost/BACHMANN.) OPCStandardServer.2/DeltaPOx.DeltaPOx_DAQ. DeltaPOx.DELTAPOX__HostVorg_cont_MFCVorg_C2_02_soll). It works very well. I finished the project a make an exe file. Question: the communication going on AES or directly on the opc Server?

  Now the problem:

  (1) sometimes without any reason the connection with the SPS crashed. I show the LEDs of the PSP on the buttons a numerical indicators a green led switches to red. With customer Softwarefrom the producer of SPS, the communication works very well. If the SPS an OPC server doesn't always work. Even a reboot of the LabView program do not work. I have to restart the pc. After the reboot, it works well.

  (2) once the database crashed. I use the Hyper trend to show trends in the variables. Sometimes if I open the tab with Windows Hyper trend data displays the Date of January 1, 1904. That I have to restart the database. The last time, it doesn't work and I had to rebuild the Application host.

  (3) I get an error message "Runtime Error... Tagsrv.exe. I read that this message comes only if something tried to close the database. I have the error at startup of windows messages. Sometimes, after a few minutes or hours, or days. I install LabView 2009 now. I hope that the failure is complete.

  I guess that something with the database or the OPC server is incorrect. Maybe someone has an idea.

  Hello, I have a Sony Cyber shot DSC - TX1 and I accidentally put the memory stick (Memory Stick Pro Duo), which worked perfectly, on a Digital Photo frame. After I took the memory stick (which did not work on this picture frame) and put it back on the camera, the camera has not identified the Memory Stick, it keeps telling me to reinsert. The error that gives me is C:13:01, is there a way to fix this? He will work with a new memory stick? Or y at - he's going to be something wrong with the camera?

  EDIT: I found something on this subject, but none of the solutions are useful in this case because my Memory Stick was new (2 days), the only one who could help is the one who said I could format the stick, but when I try this option in the camera, it won't let me.   Generally, this error is generated because there is a problem with the contacts on the Memory Stick - do you have a different Memory Stick to test? If it's only a Memory Stick with this problem check the contacts and scrub them gently with an eraser pencil if necessary. Insert and reinsert the card several times to see if this clears the error.
