  We build an iPhone app that uses a lot of images.  If I crop images 1136 x 640 for the retina of the iPhone 5 screen size screen, the images will be automatically downsize for iPhone 4 and 4 s phones?  We have a lot of pictures and I rather would include ONLY high res images and automatically to reduce the images for the older phones - not enough space to include three sizes.  We'll probably build a separate application for the iPad.  I use Dreamweaver CS6.  Thank you.

  In your scenario, you can just use a regular image 2 x and using UIImageView to enter into action and images of scale reduced by 50% during execution. It will work at the end of the API and your applications won't have any trouble getting approved. People for this.

  But, the downside:

  • Ideally, you should determine the DPI of the device at the launch and scale down accordingly to avoid the mess or pixelated images
  • A few small graphics will suffer - as buttons, icons, etc... - as Apple double pixel in each direction. Considering this, using just a 2 x approach of images may not be the best way to ensure 'crisp' images

  On the other hand, you can simply use 1 x and 2 x photos and let the camera choose the image that is optimal, according to its resolution. While this will certainly result in a larger application, it will not be a lack of memory on the device since the API captures the relevant image and loads only when running. It will not load another image which is not optimal for the device, according to which it is run.

  I'm trying to set up the AppleTV 4th gen to act as a drop-in centre, but it will not be displayed in the home of the iPhone app.

  I have the same problem.  A ran the same traps you.  2 factor auth active.  Sign in and out icloud.  No luck.  Can activate ipad like home but 4th gen apple tv hub will not simply act as the hub.  Under settings, accounts, icloud... no homekit option available.

  The first thing that comes to mind is a problem to Apple ID.

  Did you use the same Apple ID to purchase each of your applications, books and music?

  Another thread said that after the restoration, make sure that the settings / general / Restrictions have been disabled.

  It is very difficult to know what this means:

  • iPhone apps do not work on a Mac.  iPhone running iOS.  Mac OS X works.  The apps are incompatible.
  • Perhaps mean you that you want to move the apps on your iPhone to iTunes on a Mac.
    • If so, they should be on Mac exactly one, not two.
    • You need the latest version of iTunes (12.4.3) on your Mac.
    • For about a year, apps is more transfer of iOS iTunes due to thinning of the App.  Instead, you can download these iOS apps on iTunes with iTunes on your Mac App Store.

  Apps are never stored in iCloud.  You can find them using iTunes on your Mac.  Go to the App Store, click on 'Buy' on the right side, then 'not in my library"upward and download.

  I currently have a PC and am on a budget.

  What I want to do however, is program/create an iphone app and came to the conclusion that the hanging of a mac mini to my pc is the most cost-effective way to do.

  However, I'm not sure what level of specification is necessary for programming the OS. I've never programmed before, so have a very limited knowledge.

  Could I get smooth with a more/less expensive model on 2 GB of ram? Or I will require probably one with superior specs?

  The app is a bit complex.

  I use a Mac mini (end 2012) with the latest version of El Capitan and feel no bottlenecks.

  My advice would be to buy as much built-in RAM as you can afford (16 GB + if possible), rather than worry about the speed of the processor.

  Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

  • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
