• Satellite L750D-14F - slash button reverse does not

  Two weeks ago I just bought a Toshiba laptop model Satellite L750D-14F running Windows 7 and I cannot get backslash on the keyboard button to work.

  It produces no character at all.
  All other keys work fine and the symbol above it works fine using the SHIFT key.

  Any suggestions?

  In my case, the backslash is placed to the right of the 0 key.
  I have to press ALT GR and reverse this button to get the slash.

  However, I assume that your question is not related to the language of the keyboard wrong or bad use of key combination button is malfunctioning.

  As far as I know you can't replace one button. Only the key caps are perhaps you need a new removable keyboard.
  But since the laptop seems to be covered by the warranty, you must fix this problem for free.

• Localized application glitch

  OK, here's a little challenge for those who are in the location. I re - do a section in my site "Momo" in Flex, mainly because there is a collection of comic strips, you can browse and I don't like how it works in HTML. It is a bilingual (English-Spanish) ColdFusion site. Following the question here, it would be a good idea to look at: http://www.timos.com/ - section we are talking about is called "Green land" - or "Tierra Verde" for Spanish speakers.
  
  This site remembers the locale that uses a visitor, so if you visit, say, in English, it will come back in English on a future visit within 90 days, the variable "client.locale". The flex (Earth green) application gets the client.locale when it loads, and uses the same locale; If you change the regional settings so that in the Flex application, it is replaced for the entire site. If you want to look into this, just go to the site, enter and leave the 'Green Earth' section a couple of times and play with the change of language, using the buttons nav at the top of each page.
  
  Here's the problem: when you browse the site in English and you go from any page at the Green Earth, THE FLEX APP section is DISPLAYED, JUST for a MOMENT, FIRST in SPANISH, then it turns into English; This does NOT happen if you navigate in Spanish. The reason is the compiler argument "local = es_CO, en_US, and, unless you're a magician, you can't change the order of regional settings on the fly."
  
  I would like to get rid of this little glitch.
  
  There is also another problem with the item selected in the language list (sometimes the wrong item is selected), but it is not as important and shouldn't be too hard to fix.

  I had visions of spending another day to play with the events, maybe even write a custom event class. When I opened the project earlier, I decided to try a simpler change.

  All it took was moving a line of code from one function to another. Everything works now as I thought it should. For those who may run into a similar problem, the attached code shows exactly the change I made.

  So, for now, I consider this problem solved, although this does not mean that I will not be back with more. Greg Lafrance, thanks for your help with this problem.

  Brand new C660 - 2DL, some how the wrong language (Finnish) loaded at startup, there is anyway back? It should have been English. I think I would die if I don't find a cure!

  I installed applications unaware, that I had to change the language first. So I am all over in the wrong language. Trow all the apps in the tray and installed again. The app would not start, so I escorted the new download for the tray in and emptyed it.

• U.S. regional settings are wrong when English is not the language of the phone

  Reminder: for a couple of years ago I had my phone language Italian, but because I have an app that I rely that crashes when the numbers are 1.234,67 I used locale in the United States. It worked well.  Ive spent the last 4 months in Italy and does not need this particular application, so I changed my locale to Italian as well. 2 weeks ago, I went back to the United States and rekindled my regional settings to us. However, they do not turn on.

  

  AS you can see here, although the settings to say "United States", the number format is European, and so the above-mentioned application crashes.

  Ive tried English, German and Italian, the language of the phone. Only when the phone is in English the US settings will work. On the other hand, have the phone in English allows me to go to Switzerland or Italian regional settings easily and makes the appropriate changes.   You must press 'Advanced' in your screenshot.  As you can see, you probably have 'Automatic' turned 'On', which means that the language for numbers is the same as the main language.

  Put "Automatic", "Off".

• Firefox 20 sending emails in wrong language

  I installed 20 FF on desktop of my wife [Dell Inspiron 537 s, Windows 7 Home Premium SP1]. [Yahoo] emails she sends often arrive in the Inbox of the recipients in a Middle-Eastern style instead of the English language. I reinstalled FF three times in the last 6 months, but this problem keeps returning. This only happens in Firefox; never in knowledge or Chrome.
  One thing to note: it is a little "Artsy" so she plays with text styles, fonts and background colored with each email for everyone do feel "special." She makes these changes within the web Yahoo mail only. Not within its operating system. Any ideas on that?

  This can happen if the mails are displayed in UTF-16 format.

  You can check the encoding to ensure that it is set to UTF - 8.

• I accidentally selected the wrong language during the whole upward.  How can I change so I can complete the installation?

  My finger slipped and I can't understand how to start go back to choose English or complete the entire upward, so I can change it later.  Is there a way to start over?

  If you have not configured the Apple TV, you need to jump or enter anything for the implementation of the measures initially and back to these settings once you can read the menus in your native language.

  Press the "Home Screen" on the remote control to return to the home screen menu and locate and select settings (with the gear icon), select the option at the top of the page in the menu, then scroll down and select the second to the last option on the next screen, that shows a list of languages, select yours. Apple TV needs to restart to change the language and ask you to confirm this, when it's this select the option at the top of the page.
