  Hello, g ' Day

  I have a HP Envy Sleekbook m6 and just today I realized after plugging in the power adapter tge screen woul go completely black. I can hear the cell phone still in market, but I don't see anything. If I play music until the screen goes black, it stops. I tried to change the power plan to see if that would settle the matter, but it does not work. Is there a way I can fix this?

  Thank you for the information. I suggest you go to Device Manager and right click on your graphics card and update was from there. Here is a document of Manager of devices for Windows 8 information which has steps for the error codes you get.

  The screen on my laptop going black shortly after turning it on.  It's a Dell 1525 inspiron about 5 years.  Have plugged an old monitor inside and it works but technically sound now your desktop!  Someone else has encountered this and found a solution? • HP G60 laptop - monitor goes black but power stays on

  When I press the power button, lights up the laptop, I can connect to windows, but then the screen goes black after a few minutes or as soon as possible.

  -The power stays on and does not turn off or restart

  -I can hear the fan spins again

  -I see very very very vaguely the screen that I should be seeing, but no mouse or cursor

GoTo all programs search and type in Recovery Manager click that above and open it. Click Yes (white box) so it apears. Select Microsoft System Restore Click next to three windows now you will see a list of dates, select a date prior to the installation of the update, then click. Let the computer do its restoration. Once done see if your problem is solved, if so try the update again, make you that the update is for 64-bit Windows 7 computers before you download it again. If that happens again once you know what AVG is not compatible for your computer.

  Probably you have only received part of the witch update caused this problem due to the disruption of atmospheres. Sometimes this happens. Put day of my HP only made once. • Gateway vista laptop screen keeps going black several times!

  I need Urgent help please. I have Windows Vista Home Premium x 64 Service Pack 2 on a Gateway laptop with model number MD2614u. Whenever my charger is plugged into my laptop, and I'm trying to use my laptop, the screen goes very dark (you can always sort of see it, but its really dark able to work with the laptop). This happens immediately after that I open the lid of my laptop. In order to get rid of the darkness, I close the lid of the portable computer, reopen and instantly the screen goes black again. When I don't have my charger plugged in, this problem will not happen. I also tried the system restore, that does not solve the problem. I appreciate help guys, I really need my laptop works again. • My HP Pavilion laptop g6 hangs on the screen then the screen goes black!

  Hi, I have a laptop Hp pavilion g6 running on windows 7 that I bought for my high school diploma. Of course she had only one year warranty. At first, all was well, then he would start gel and goes black. I restored to factory settings, and everything was fine until Tuesday morning.   303 error code is a failure of the short test (DST) disk Self and would indicate that hard is defective and must be replaced.  This also corresponds to the start-up question and would explain why you can run safe mode because the disk is under less load (that is, much less read/write requests).

  I gathered from your original post that the laptop is no longer under warranty - you can check the status of your warranty here.

  Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

  Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

  When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  Contact the manufacturer of your laptop.  Also - that there might be a key combination for your laptop that changes the screen from the main output is - look at your documentation or on your keyboard for such a combination of keys (what kind of computer is? Make & model...)
