Laptop HP 15-n090sa: replace cracked screen on laptop HP 15-n090sa

I found that the screen on my laptop (which is less than one year) broke - don't know how it happened.  The computer works ok using the touch pad or a mouse, but not by using the touch screen.  Do I just a new drink or is it more than that.  I would also like to know how to remove the screen because it seems to be inserted in lid rarther that held with a frame and there are no visible screws.   I was quoted £337 for a replacement of 'Know-how' that seems excessive compared to the price of a new laptop.  Any help and advice would be welcome.

You are welcome!

This is a good option right now. See you soon!

I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question about your grandson Notebook 15 - HP TouchSmart r136wm and need a replacement for the screen. Here is a link to your manual for part number 764877-001 and shows me that this will work, but you will lose the touch screen feature. Not all screens will work as some scanners and various functions.

Please let me know how it goes.

  • My iPhone 4S has a cracked screen. I don't think Apple have more of them in stock to replace by out-of-coverage option. No idea what my options are and how much it would cost me?

Well, basically I cracked the screen on my iPhone 4S. But two years, worked very well. Now, I am faced with a dilemma. Does anyone know if Apple will replace it by their release of the guarantee option? And if Apple does more in stock iPhone 4s, which are going to be my options going forward and how much will I have to pay?

If the Apple store has is with them, they should be able to change

However, if this is not available the only option you have is to fix by yourself in a mobile store

It would cost around $45 à $55 the entire screen needs to be replaced with screen

    Bravo!

Press the sleep/wake and Home buttons and hold for at least 10 seconds.

As a final step, try recovery mode. Turn off your unit, then plug it to your computer with the hold home button. Hold down Home button until you see the logo on the screen of your iPhone iTunes. • Laptop Dell XPS 13 L322X: 8 beeps start after replacing the screen

    Hi all

I have laptop computer Dell XPS 13 L322X (serial number: CC2YVW1).  I use an external monitor because the screen is flickering with vertical lines and ghosts of the colors. I've updated the Bios and the driver video and tried the diagnostic mode (power and the D - key... and) without success.

I just bought a new replacement compatible screen but the I cannot start using the new form and meeting the 8 beeps are heard. I tried to start with the external monitor and using power on the laptop with the D key, the new screen of the laptop began to switch colors four times and return the sound signal.

I tried to disconnect the battery and the AC power and maintain the power to drain the left stored energy from capacitors without success.

Thanks in advance for your help,

    Sala

In this case, return the set of sieves of replacement - it's probably the cable is bad (but since it is an integral part of the screen, the set should be replaced.

  • Satellite A300 speaker questions and cracked screen

I've had my laptop for almost a year and suddenly something has happened to the speakers.

When I listen to music on my laptop there is a separate "fuzzy" behind the sound and also if it does not play music and open media player (ex. itunes) there are weird beeps and a sound that looks like when someone breathes in a micro comes from the speakers.

This came out of nowhere and I was wondering is a necessary replacement speaker or whatever it is and is - it covered by the warranty?

My second question is that I got recently my laptop from my bag to laptop to discover there was a crack in the LCD, and the ink ran in the right corner. I don't know how it happened as it was beautiful when I put it in the laptop bag and he was not being pushed around, just sitting in the backseat of my car?

Is this under warranty or is it possible that I can get a cheap replacement that won't take days to do what I need my laptop for uni!

    Thank you
    Jess

    > When I listen to music on my laptop there is a separate "fuzzy" behind the sound and also if there is no music playing and a media player is opened (e.g. itunes) there are weird beeps and a sound that resembles when someone breathes into a microphone from the speakers.

Have you noticed the same thing using earphones?
You need to connect the headphones, and if the same would be noticeable then it s not pregnant related question

    > My second question is that I got recently my laptop from my bag to laptop to discover there was a crack in the LCD, and the ink ran in the right corner. I doubt that this would be covered by the warranty because such crack screen may not appear without any pressure. That is why I think that this would be covered by the warranty.
In any case, you could ask your local ASP on details and reviews.

  • Satellite A100-405: black cracked screen

    Hello world

I have problem with my laptop its TOSHIBA SATELLITE A100-405 and 2 year old so no warranty now.

Just before 2 weeks his fall and lcd cracked, but even after cracking at least I was using it normally without replacement and wished to replaced soon but yesterday when I uninstalled the sound toshiba virtual (because it still looks like echo) suddenly collapsed knees work once uninstalled this virtual sound.

I have to press power button to the market, but even after its on, I see on the screen.
I tried to put the recovery disk, but after that, I don't see anything on the screen.

Can you help me please what that is the problem, it is because of this cracked screen or uninstalled virtual sound.
I hope that someone will help me solve this issue.

    Thank you.

    Hello

I doubt that an uninstall of the virtual sound would lead this display problem
I m sure that this display problem appears because the laptop has dropped down in the past

I think you should contact an ASP in your country for a LCD test and perhaps you will need a new.

  • Cracked screen and faulty USB ports on Satellite A105-S1014

On my Satellite A105-S1014 screen is cracked and needs to be replaced. How much cost could replace the screen?

In addition, my phone and USB ports do not work properly. This problem arise well before that I accidentally cracked the screen. Some times when I turn first of all the computer, USB port and telephone ports work for awhile and then after a period of time ranging from a few minutes to several hours, they badly run simultaneously and the computer says that what is in the USB port does not work and that there is no dial tone in the phone port that I use to access dial-up. At the beginning, I don't have this problem with the Toshiba laptop, but it arises after about three months.

My warranty has expired. How much it could cost to solve the problem of the phone and USB ports?

    Hey Buddy,
I can't tell you how much would it cost to fix these two things, but I can tell you that you buy rather a new machine because the display and motherboard are the most expensive parts in your machine. Since your ports USB and your RJ11 (phone port) don't work anymore and this stuff is on the motherboard, I guess you have to swap the motherboard, too.

I suggest you to sell your machine @ ebay and buy another. It would be too expensive to fix your machine. Believe me, I had a case of simiar and parts cost more then buy a new machine that was more recent and better performance.

Just my opinion and just a thought for you... :)

    Welcome them

  • ENVY of HP DV7 - replacing the screen 7230us

Just a few questions if you let it. Unfortunlsoately my laptop fell on the floor and the screen cracked. I have a new replacement on the way. Mind you, I replaced the screens of laptops before gently and smoothly. On each of them, in the place where the cable Ribbon which extends from the motherboard and attaches to the screen he is and was a warning label 'do not touch'. Take this warning seriously I've always avoided this and do not touch.  On the WANT DV7-7230us the place where the ribbon cable connection is made it is difficult, but not impossible, to do not touch this area. It is a possibility, I might have to hold a small area to re - attach the cable on the new screen. My question is why he cannot be touched? I somehow damage the new screen if I accidentally touch or hold this area? Just one simple answer other than 'just don't touch' would be great.  Thank you.

    Hello

I think that the warning "do not touch" is intended for the Board of LCD screen.

  • Aspire v5 531P touch do not work. Replacing the screen? HLP

my contact has always been funny. Sometimes, it might stop working and restart and it works again. My cuz fell and the screen cracked... (not bad) and to the touch has worked for more than a few days. now, it has not worked for a year. Can it be fixed with a tip? (I see no driver or driver update... at all) I tried uninstalling the driver and re install but I really don't think I did this right... I'M A NOOB! I get a new screen if I need to... I neeed advice. This can be corrected? If I need a new screen... which will fix my touch? How do I know that it will be? y at - it a test to show that a new screen will make my touch still works?  If I get a new screen... There are a few to choose from... Touch Screen LCD + Digitizer glass + bezel AND do I know all this?

If a touch screen is cracked, it is never good. A crack is sure to have damaged the resistive layers in the touchscreen.
You need to replace the screen. Yes it would.
    http://www.eBay.com/ITM/new-Acer-Aspire-V5-531P-V5-571P-laptop-LCD-screen-digitizer-glass-bezel-15-6...

You must disassemble the laptop. Up to and including the motherboard to replace.

If the touch screen did not work before it was cracked, he can't fix it.

  • Pavilion dv4-2162nr: cracked screen

    Request for a friend.

It has a cracked screen on his laptop and wants to know if the screens are interchangeable. Which means, she get a specific screen HP, or any similar size option won't work? Thank you

    Hi @jdr1984 ,

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A place where you can find solutions for your problems with the help of the community!

I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question about your HP Pavilion Notebook dv4-2162nr and concerns with the installation of a new screen. You don't have to put in the parts that are compatible with your system. Here is a link for your replacement options page 4-27.

Some have different options such as transceivers, cables, webcam, microphone and antenna WLAN.

You don't have to order the part from HP, but it must be compatible with your laptop.

    Thank you.
