Hi, before I computer has operated normally, I put it on sleep, the next day, when turn on had pi... no sound stops. I have disable. And got new IP... its no judgment. I turn it back on and went to the menu, only verified that all dignostic had all prfect but still pi..., when I turn on. When I insert the HP recovery disk in the optical drive, turn off and turn on computer I got to new IP... sound, disk not boot. I checked the F9, Bios boot order, boot order was crrect of CD-ROM I tried F11 started hard drive Recovery Manager, part recovery already has the error, recovery goes with error. I cant'tstart computer to boot from the optical drive. Please this what will happen to CD? What's wrong?

I understand that you are having problems making your recovery. What is this error message you received when you tried to make the recovery? Try to do a Hard Reset to see if a clean reboot will get the computer going well and see if it recognizes the CD/DVD drive or an optical drive. You can also try go into your BIOS and do a restore by default. This will force the BIOS to look at the hardware.

    on my laptop (Pavilion dv6-3016sl, bought in 2010) for a few months the USB connections give many problems with different devices.

    The first issue with the key external communication 3G (ONDA TM201) Internet: the USB key (which has worked for many months) is not recognized. I tried to reinstall the software and drivers (get the latest version from the website of the producer), but it is always unclear correctly.

    I know this may seem a rather harsh to suggest method, but at this point, I suggest backup of important things on your laptop computer to online storage. This is because you can use the USB storage for the moment.

    Once you have done this, it's time to locate your drives support usb recovery and licenses of all other programs that you have installed or recovery.

    Start on the recovery media.

    Use the HP Recovery Manager to perform a factory image recovery which will reinstall the operating system.

    Since you say that the usb ports work under Linux, then reinstalling the operating system Windows needs to solve the problem of usb port that you are experiencing.

    I just bought a HP Pavilion dv6-6c53cl Entertainment Notebook PC (Costco), and so far it has been a lot of things. Everything seems to work very well.

    Because I do a lot of development in virtual Images, I ran a number of hard factors external to the laptop in the two weeks since I've owned (including an external SSD). All this seems to work well.

    But, I was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to install a second hard drive or SSD in this model of laptop. I saw on the HP site that some laptops allow for the installation of a second hard drive, but I couldn't find any information on this model that would suggest he can handle such a configuration.

    My main objective for doing this, it would be to keep the original 1 TB hard supplied with the notebook, but perhaps a DSS secondary drive to run the paging activity from when this type of functionality is necessary when running some of my larger virtual Images.

    Any help to clarify whether this is an option with the HP Pavilion dv6-6c53cl would be very much appreciated.
