Laptop HP pavillion ts 11: RAM upgrade

Dear specialists

is it possible to increase the ram in my pc

I went to a Web site that has scanned and said I could, but I'm not sure where I'd put the memory as there are no screws to undo whatever it is based on the laptop

pls help

Need the exact model because there are a few different models called touchsmart 11. If it is this one:

Repair manuals

See p. 28. The back cover can be pulled up when you remove the battery and are held down with clips plastic, no screws. The memory location is accessible once you get off the back cover. If it is a different model post back and we can find the manual for this one.

Yes PC2100 becomes a bit difficult to find. You can use PC2700, also known as the DDR333 and he will almost certainly be great downclock. If you buy a large public site lite or and buy specific modules recommended for your laptop, they will ensure the compatibility but you are very sure to get the best deal, you can at any old laptop DDR333 and install.

  • Satellite 3000 - X 4: Question about RAM upgrade

    Hi all

I'm looking for more information on how to upgrade the RAM for my SATELLITE S3000 - X 4 (120 MB RAM, 14 GB HD I think!). Here's a little history...

This laptop is about 5 years old, and I'm hoping to speed up a bit. I don't want to buy a new computer because she usually serves my needs.

I emptied my hard drive files and unwanted programs. And I ran Jv16 Power Tools to clean the registry and minimize starts the process.

It's always a little slow and if I am considering upgrading the RAM because I think I can do this for about £50. My questions are:

What type of upgrade RAM should I look to buy? (This laptop have 2 RAM "plug-ins" or just one?)
What is the size of RAM upgrade is the maximum an S3000 - X 4 could face?
Could a novice like me to adapt to the style DIY upgrade?

Thanks for any help you can offer!

    Hi Gabrielle

He is old enough. I looked for some info, but unfortunately I n t have not found much. The device can use the 512 MB of RAM, and you can use 2 sticks of memory. I'm not 100% sure but I think you can use the module with tracking number PA3086U - 1. 25 M.

The unit is not known to me but please check the underside. On most units, you can find coverage of memory.
