LaserJet M1212nf MFP: Scanning does not... Once again.
You are God * beep * serious? I've lost my patience with this thing. Used to scan via USB, but the part on the printer pulled plug and pulling repeatedly. Then connected by Ethernet cable. Would not scan. It turns out that the printer must be plugged into a wall outlet instead of the power bar. Very well.
And now, it does not analyse new, but this time I literally haven't touched it since the last time once I plugged it in the wall. The device is in offline mode on my computer but can still print documents, but it won't scan. I checked the power cord of the printer and it is not loose at each end. All my drivers must be current.
Well, this should allow you to analyze:
- If the printer is connected via USB cable to your PC, delete.
- Click on start and open devices and printers.
- Right-click on any icon of your printer listed.
- Click on remove the instrument.
- Repeat for all other icons of your printer listed.
- Download and install the latest drivers by clicking on this link.
Please let me know the results after doing the above.

We have a new HP LaserJet Professional M1212nf MFP. I attributed to a static IP address, and he pulls up on its web interface. I loaded the printer for network printing on our Small Business Server 2003 and installed on several PC. No matter what we do, it will not accept a print job, even the test page. Nothing that he prints. I checked spools of printing, drivers, etc. Nothing seems out of place. Any suggestions?
I could never operate via the server print but is gone to every computer with the CD and installed via IP right and works fine now.
I tried to completely uninstall the printer and drivers by the management of printing, but when I reinstall I'm still not able to see the scan option.
I found this fix, but it is not helpful at all. I am very few clear on how to run the solution. What is the air cleaner and where do you get?
Well, I have solved the problem by forcing a sweep of windows & scan fax. I found this as a work-around and I just try the scanner then, and it worked. For now, the question has corrected itself, if all goes well it stays this way!
I use a chromebook, so I use my printer as a Google Cloudprinter. Usually, I'm able to get my printer using claim code that is printed in the Backgrounder (this information sheet is printer when I activate HP Webservices on the printer).
For some reason, I seem to be impossible to activate the Web services successfully. I have a guest that webservices are enabled, but who is supposed to have printed information sheet no longer get printed. So, I don't know what is my claim code, and accordingly I seem not to be able to print more Google Cloudprint.
I can connect to the site HPConnected, I can't add a printer because I don't know the claim code.
Can you please let me know what I might hurt? How can I get the claim code?
Hello and welcome to the HP support community!
Is your ChromeBook and printer using the same wireless network? If so, have you tried to install the "HP Print application" of the Chrome Web store?
Please see the document which contains the instructions for use of HP on a Chromebook print.
Here is the HP article on "How to get the claim code".
Title says it all really.
For four days I tried to activate my Windows 7 (currently in English) on my laptop Japanese (pre-installed was Japanese originally [but I didn't score more and have a new HARD drive), and I get the middle finger, all the time when I try to save the English version of the same Windows Home Premium with my laptop on the same laptop code.
I have tried thousands of web pages a Japanese Windows x 64 Windows 7 Home Premium, but can't find one (in which case the code only to the Japanese laptop in/THROUGH Japanese).
Anyone KNOW WHERE I CAN DOWNLOAD a COPY of the JAPANESE OF WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM edition on. ISO?
The laptop 3D stereoscopic i7 is a little more than 3 years. And otherwise very good.
What can I do?
Smash it and put the video on youtube as an advertisement for Microsoft and Toshiba, Toshiba like repair bill $350 to install a hard drive with the Dynabook Windows 7 above.
Should I go the nightmare that is Windows 8.1 and stump up more of money?
Have you tried phone activation?
How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)
1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4
(2) press the ENTER"" key.
(3) select your "country" in the list.
(4) choose the option "activate phone".
(5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.
(6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.
I know that this has been discussed several times before and I checked the previous forum discussions, but this did not help.
I can't always format source code with the dashes.
None of them work for me (Mac or PC):
Is there anything else I need to do? Hidden settings or configuration to fix files?
Thank you in advance!
P.S. using Dreamweaver CC 2015.3 on Windows 10 and Mac OSX 10.11.5

Your post leads me to believe that your printer needs a firmware update, so I've included the document Getting the latest Firmware and updates to the product .
Once the printer firmware is up-to-date, you should be able to get operational web services. If this isn't the case, please let me know at what stage things are ugly and the content of any error message. Also would you please let me know which operating system you use on your computer (whatsmyos.com)? Thank you.
I have HP LaserJet M1212nf MFP AllInOne baought ricently.
when im trying to scan, if its with the charger or glass, is comeout as Mirrowview page scanned.
when im asking him to pruduce as a MirrorView is just won't come out.
I have updated and softwere of hp.
im a 32-bit Windows 7 user.
you have a solotion for this problem?
It is a software problem known with the alignment from right to the left of the preview of the scan, it only affects the preview screen , but the analysis results will be as expected.
Once the mirror preview appears. do not duplicate the preview but complement the analytical work... the results of the analysis will be as expected.
To completely resolve the problem, you can uninstall the HP software, change your PC Non-Unicode affecting English and reinstall the HP software. Then the HP software will appear as English and not to see him get an overview of the analysis as a mirror image.
I had a paper jam while I was scanning several sheets in the feeder. I opened the lid of the scanner and a spring / roll came out. I have installed and reinstalled the ink cartridge black for my Laserjet M1212nf MFP and I get error message "install the black print cartridge. I pointed out quite in the restart including manual online, the fact to unplug printer, etc..
This error of "Install black cartridge" is usually caused by a piece of packaging material that remains on the cartridge. The document below should help you to solve the problem. If this does not work, try to do a hard reset. If neither works, let me know.
Toner blinking or 'Install black print cartridge' Message is displayed on the control panel:

4. wait for 30 seconds.
5. plug in the printer and turn it on.

Any idea what could be the problem?
I also ran problem solver and Diagnostics for windows 10 and HP (doctors ' something tool ') cant remember the name

The soluction (Windows 10)
Uninstalled the printer one again, then when you search for printers I chose that the printer was not on the list (although is has)
Installed by using the IP address of the printer, after that, it will ask if you want to keep the driver or replace by the network (that) printer and success problem printing free driver
In the future no update new printer
My Laserjet M1212nf MFP will not be printed on the labels. Select 'labels' as the paper type, I get the large popup telling me to load support.
I use Avery 5160 labels
I can print the same labels on plain paper without problem.
When the printer is set to the current settings and receives a request for the written press which is not currently installed and configured in the printer, it will prompt you can load the media is requested to print on.
According to the description, it seems that the printer has not said the type of media that is loaded in the tray. When he thinks that the driver you select labels, the printer itself, it commissioned from plain and requests that you load the labels.
The following is a section of the User Guide. On Page 57 there are instructions to change the setting from the default document type. If this setting is changed to 'Labels' and 'Labels' request from the driver, you should not get the prompt on the control panel again.
Please try this and see if the prompt disappears.
Scan does not not on my HP Deskjet F4280 all-in-One. The power button flashes when you press scan. Everything else works. I tried to unplug it from the wall socket and reconnect it. Not solve the problem. What else can I try? Or, is it a piece of junk now and needs replacement? My laptop (windows vista) did not go into repairs several months ago. Don't know if that had anything to do with it.
