  You need to install the package of value added for Satellite Pro L40. This package contains all the necessary drivers for the FN keys. Then please install or update VAP if you have already installed an earlier version.

  I have a windows HP laserjet mfp 1212 electrician network connected to my desktop HP i5 (p6-2371).  Since the upgrade to windows 10 8, although I can print and photocopy I can no longer scan.   I reinstalled the drivers from HP, the pint of HP and a Scan doctor, nothing helps.   The doctor Print & Scan detects the device but says it can not communicate with him.  I also have a Kodak AiO installed as a USB device that scans is more well that it prints.

  • Try using a USB connection.

  It is possible that the driver was corrupt, so we will need to remove it and reinstall.

  • Cleaning disc in Windows 10
  • Perform the clean boot in Windows 10 / 8 / 7

  Type: net stop spooler

  Enter: net start spooler

  2) open Windows Explorer and navigate to:

  NOTE: any % is usually C:\Windows, but it might be "winnt" or something else; It is set when the OS is installed.  Most systems are like this C:\Windows\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86

  (3) in the w32x86 folder, there will be other folders and files.  Delete everything inside, but DO NOT remove the w32x86 folder.

   

  4) restart the computer - perform clean boot in Windows 10 / 8 / 7

  When Safari is running slowly? When? What sites? Force Quit Safari and then start it again while holding down the SHIFT key. If Safari works as expected, then remove your installed Safari extensions. Restart Safari normally and add your extensions one by one until the slow back. You have now identified the extension at the root of the problem.

  Here's another interesting event. I use sleep mode all the time, that's what happens "when I close the lid. After upgrade Windows 8.1 for Windows 10 RTM, "standby mode" is not found. "when I close the lid" and related parameters in power management have an empty selection, sleep does not appear in the drop-down list of choices. It seems revenue to "Put to sleep" by default. By reading the other Windows 10 forums I know sleep is supported in Windows 10, how can I get that back? I tried to download and install the latest driver for power management (as dated 17/07/2015, I think) but I get the message that "you already have a newer version of the driver installed", I cancelled out of the facility. Are there newer drivers planned for soon? I can shoot with Microsoft Basic Display Driver (3200 x 1800 only, see my other ad in the forum), although I used a different resolution in Windows 8.1 and hibernate instead of mode 'sleep', but I hope that these features will work soon.   When you upgrade Windows XP to Windows 8, you will be able to keep only personal files. You need to reinstall all programs after the custom installation of Windows 8.

  When you reinstall the virtual machine, you must reactivate the same. You can also check if the virtual machine that you are using is compatible with Windows 8.

• HP Officejet Pro 8620: Cannot parse after upgrade to Windows 10

  After switching to Windows 10, I found that I could not scan to my computer using a USB connection.  I ran HP print and Scan doctor and he said that everything was OK and I could actually scan a document into my computer using the "scan test" function of the program.  However, the normal scan would not work with the error msg 'connection to computer is lost.  So I uninstalled the current HP printer driver software and downloaded the recommended replacement.  The scan does not always for the same reason.  Still printing HP and Scan doctor said that everything is perfect with the scanner but now when I try to do a 'test' scan I get the message "HP Officejet Pro 8620 is not found".

  This same package worked for many other clients, so I don't feel the driver/software it is, on the contrary, I suspect that the question has something to do with the computer.  I'm always happy to do everything that I can to help if you want.

  I suggest running the tool (SFC.exe) System File Checker. If you do not know how, you can use the following link for instructions: System File Checker: run sfc/scannow & analyze its logs in Windows 10 / 8 / 7.

  Another thing we can do to help isolate the problem is to perform a WebScan.

  I made some screenshots for you that might help, I know that sometimes it is easier when you have a Visual. You will need to get the printers IP address from the front panel of the printer. You can touch the wireless network icon and view in the menu wireless settings. Take the IP address and enter the address of a browser bar.

  In the embedded Web server, click settings

  

  On the left side, click the administrator settings

  

  You will see the following message will appear, click OK

  

  You can now select continue on this site

  

  It may take a few minutes for the next page load. You might even see get a message that says: "Internal system error", if this happens please just refresh the page. (you can tap F5 on the keyboard to refresh)

  

  Once the WebScan is enabled you can click the WebScan tab above and do a scan. Please let me know if it works or not.

  LaserJet 6 p - MP related to USB to 36 pin Cable form base of printer.

  Printing is fine but graphic printing is very slow.

  If I use the printer PCL (e.g. laserjet 6 p) driver graphic print very well.

  There seems to be two solutions;

  1. can I force the postscriupt driver to send a PCL?

  2. how to install a second printer driver pointing to the same printer?

  I tried to use another USB (work queued sticks)

  I tried using the same USB port, but then that a printer is visible on the network to the other PC.

  OK - progress of a sort.
  I have now two printers (6 p and 6MP postscript) under the same icon in printers and devices. Only one name is visible until you select an option as the printer preferences when both become visible.
  Both are shared under different names; both are visible in applications (such as Word), and the two actually work! (although I have no easy way to determine whether it is PS and the other PCL printing)

  Now to the R60 on the network. There is no HP printers connected to

  4 in devices and printers name may have changed, but when you select Properties, you should see the two names (A and B)

  5 check test print works for both.

  A you have shared two printers, the two should be available on the network and one, the other or both are available to add to another machine on the network.

  Sounds so easy - why I lose a few days of my life to find it!
