• Liquid Crystal Controller (LCC)

  Hi all

  I try so to integrate a delay (LCR) crystals liquids in my polarimeter. It is controlled by a Controller (LCC) of liquid crystals. "LCC" made by Thorlabs and has a USB input and bnc input. The "LCC" model is "LCC25". For now, I can manually change the values of the computer via the usb cable using a Hyper Terminal file that contains commands for "LCC" preproggramed. My question is can I use this same method to create a labview program that changes voltages via the usb cable. If this isn't the case, it is said that it can be ordered via the outer BNC input with voltages from 1 to 5 volts. I would prefer to use the USB cable, but I am ready to use the BNC cable if there is no other way. Please post a sample code, when it exists because I couldn't find it thanks. I use LabView 2012 if you wish to post an example.

  If you can communicate via Hyperterminal, you can easily do it with LabVIEW.

  You can find examples in LabVIEW series read and write. Once open set up the COM port settings to match what is in the manual of the CCA.

  Then try to issue a command with appropriate using characters of endpoint settings correct.

Knows one of them? It's a legitimate support service or they're trying to scam me?

  It's a scam and with various names and phone numbers, is
  becomes more common lately.

  In addition to their money get on your part to do anything of any value,
  If you leave them in your computer, which knows what losses they did are
  where confidential information they stole.

  So if you have done so, I highly recommend that you do both of the following
  immediately:

  1 do a clean reinstall of Windows.
  2. change all of your passwords, especially banks or other
  financial sites.

  Yes you can do it. We give you all the supply sources on the client side. So, you can build your CFC using compc utility in the SDK Flex SDK or build a library project in Flash Builder.

  The other thing to do is, we have layers of legacy. So you can build your own custom component by extending the base component class. Also of what you are doing, you can always use your item custom instead of UserItemRenderer converter.

  Customer of LCC is a well architected code in my opinion, makes it very flexible.

  1. If I have a room and has a stream editor, and there are 3000 ssubscribers and I guess 3000 subscribers are "P2P" mode normally.so large number of subscribers. Is it feasible?

  2 if my site is in China, and all customers are too in China. so, if a good number of customers cannot use "P2P", are these clients connect to the server "CAC" (in the United States) to read the stream? If this 'yes', the distance I think is too far, and the time will be too high...

  Some body give me an answer?

  Yes if there is only flow data editor, then streaming would stay in P2P mode. As for your next question, I let the P2P experts answer that.

  Yes you may encounter latency and delay due to the proximity of the servers of the low COST airlines, but then the LCC are a really and scalable service and could offset the delay and latency problems.

• LCC - how to hide "First name" + "Second Name" on the cursor when using multi-user "SharedWhiteBoard."

  I have a Flex Web application and uses the following controls "ConnectSessionContainer" and "SharedWhiteBoard". I run few cases of applications and inside the Whiteboard changed something (example: cordinate, size) it is clear from this development spread hollow LCC to another application connected to the same room and show the cursor 'First Name', 'Second name' + 'connection ID/number.

  Issues related to the:

  
  -How can I hide/change label = text on the slider. I mean "First Name", "Second name" + "connection ID/number.
  -J' changed in my adobe "First Name" + "Second Name" profile, but is not propagated in the Whiteboard why?
  -Next time when I run the app 'Connection ID/number' incremented even if narrow application and start again. How to manage this part? I mean do not multiply

• LCC on Amazon EC2

  Is there a way to get the ACC to work on an Amazon EC2 instance? I would like to have video-to-peer chat, using EC2 as the service of communication protocol - or is there another method recommended deployment?

  I think you're a bit confused on what low-COST Airlines is my friend - LCC are an all-in-one solution.  He takes care of the problem world conference with a minimal code, making Adobe all the heavy lifting.  FMS is not used at all - I don't think that it's even possible to use a combination of the companies to lower COSTS and FMS, because it would be useless - FMS has already integrated gogo handshake.  The only reason why you want to use FMS is because deploying your own FMS cluster long term can be cheaper than the low COST Airlines (but depending on what you intend to do, you'll probably write a lot more code to use FMS.)  LCC are a boon in this world because it costs nothing to deploy, is ridiculously simple and is always incredibly competitive.

  If I understand correctly your problem (and I'm dealing with a similar one) is that you want to have a video conversation, but don't want to pay for bandwidth?  Unfortunately there is no such thing as a free lunch and you still have to pay the costs of bandwidth, but not much - LCC will take care of the handshake (which you have to pay for) If force you only by the peers, but then the video is free.  It's not necessarily smart, however, because:

  1. peer only doesn't always work because of the State of the network.

  2. you can't broadcast a video-to-peer session for many people (not sure when your use case is.)

  3. you can not record video sessions if you do this (pretty sure that's the case, necessary to double check.)

  in any case, good luck - LCC is the bomb. If you try to minimize your costs, I just try to force all connections in single pairs and then pay for the guy when he doesn't.  The user experience is everything - users don't want to see that they are unable to use your service because of technical difficulties.

  I'm about to start a new project, which will use the low-COST companies, and I am deciding what SDK should I use between 4.1 Flex and Flex 4.5. If I take the ACC for Flash Player 10.1 library (the last stable), is there a problem knowledge or incompatibilities if I use the most recent Flex 4.5, or is it better to use the older but more stable Flex 4.1?

• Error during the compilation of the LCCS SDK Flex 4.5 SDK samples

  I'm new to Flex programming and exploring the samples provided as part of the LCCS SDK. I'm trying to compile the examples available as SimpleChatExample.mxml in the swf file using the Flex SDK 4.5 compiler (mxml.exe). But I get following error - could not resolve < rtc:ConnectSessionContainer > to an implementation of the component. Could you please help me to find the exact cause of this? This is to integrate the swf file that is compiled into an existing ASP.NET page and to check the feasibility.

  Normally, you will need to refer to this list of options available (even for compc), and then to formulate your command line options.

  Your order will be probably looks like this:

  mxmlc -library-path+=path_to_lccs_sdk/libs/player10 -source-path+=src src/MyApp.mxml
  

  Depending on your needs, you will need to play with "- include - libraries" and "- external - library-path" params as well.

• Cannot install the LCCS Navigator AIR app - "sorry, an error has occurred."

  I can't install the LCCs "Application Navigator SDK" from the ACC portal for. When I try to run the AIR installer, I get the following error message:

  Sorry, an error occurred.

  Cannot install this application because this installer has been misconfigured. Please contact the application author.

  AIR.framework/Versions/Current/Resources/Info.plist Library/Frameworks/Adobe indicates my AIR 'CFBundleVersion' is '2.6.0.19140 '.

  If you have an older version of browser LCC you must uninstall it first. Long story (something to do with the signing certificates), but this should be the last time that happens.

  Let us know if this solves your problem.

  If you check the documentation for the android sdk, you will see that there is no front-facing camera support (the returns a single camera and it's always the back) up to 2.3

  The applications that come with the phone (usually performed by the manufacturer) use device support API.

  Have you tried to use the screen sharing SampleApps? You can download them from our browser SDK. Within the 'ScreenShareExample' folder 'ScreenSharePublisherExample.mxml' and 'ScreenShareSubscriberExample.mxml' , which I think might help

  Here's the info from the Readme about these examples:

  ScreenSharePublisherExample: This example shows how to publish his screen and share it with other subscribers in the same room which has its publisherID. When to invoke this editor, Adobe screen sharing Addin will appear and a sharing dialog box will pop up asking what view/app to share.  Upon confirmation,.
  the streamID and the publisherID will be displayed on the Center textfields.  Use the publisherID on the screenshare subscriber see the screenshare.  (Please check the account and roomURL information before using the editor)

  ScreenShareSubscriberExample: With information on the right and roomURL, this application will connect to the first publisher of screen sharing in the room (you don't need to specify the publisherID).

  IM facing some trouble with LCC, specifically with Screensharing.

  I have an app running and doing screensharing, it works well and very well. In this application, I can have users (with roles presenter +) shares its screen (one at a time) and other supply flows.

  But to get this to work I had to put workarounds in the supply of source code.

  First of all, I don't know why, when a user does screensharing method of ScreenSharingPublisher.isPublishing of other users (who receives the stream and do not publish) always returns true. Even when the user who shares its screen ceases publication, the method still returns the true value. This blocks other users to share their screen, once the method to publish the ScreenSharingPublisher check if there is something being published.

  To work around this problem, I made a call to ScreenSharingPublisher.stop () on the ScreenShareEvent.stoppPlayingScreenShare Manager, and my manager is like this:

  But this does not work, once the code of supply for ScreenSharingPublisher.stop () checks if the add-in is started before the attribute isPublishing the value false (user who receive only, the add-in is not started).

  Thank you for reporting this issue to us. It was a bug in our end, and we are ready with a patch. If you use the SDK 10.1 CBC, then you can add this code to ScreenSharePublisher.as on line 1077 (inside the onStreamReceive method) cocomoPlayer10.1/src/com/adobe/rtc/collaboration/

  You can use both depending on your needs. All components of the CCA are written in AS3, and you can still use itemrenderers or CSS.

  We used both for creating applications by using low-COST airlines. Even in the LCC code, you will find itemrenderers used in the list.

  Similarly, if you want to set styles, you can use the CSS files and use it in your project.
