• timeline will not play video, audio only

  I just recently changed computers (windows 7 to Windows 7) and when I re-installed first CS5.5 on my new computer the video in the timeline never plays.

  The video box timeline shows a graph in offline media even after all the media was reconnected.

  When I press play, the playhead moves, but he will play only the audio and only shows the graph of media for the video offline. I tested a few of the clips to see if they would play in the source monitor, and each of them has played very well. It's just the video editing window that will not play.

• First Elements 13: Mounting a WMV distilled from a PowerPoint... Can't see the Audio track

  I am someone help with what we thought would be a minor change task. We have a WMV file created from a PowerPoint presentation (and no, we don't have access to this old PowerPoint). We need to move some of the video autour, but leave the audio the same. When we added the media, we can see the video and hear the sound, but the audio is not on a track in the timeline panel.

  For now, I'm going to presume first items 11, 12/12.1, 13/13.1 on Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 64bits.

  In what specific workspace to the project are you? You are in the area of Expert work or fast.

  Fast working space is not a dedicated numbered audio track.

  If you are in space and quick work of his film, then go to the workspace Expert with his script numbered video tracks, audio tracks numbered, track of Narration and soundtrack.

  OK, so I plugged speakers to my new computer configured with windows 7 and have had problems listening to a simple song. When I use the speakers (I tried several different sets) the two speakers appear to play only the audio in the left channel, and nothing don't play the channel right, which means missing out on a lot of songs or watch: (.) When I go to the Realtek HD audio Manager and test it, each speaker lights up and plays on his own, just as it is supposed to. If I connect to my other computer via desktop remotely, the sound works perfectly, each speaker playing its own channel. It's just when I am playing a song on my desk that I have problems. Also the problem with good windows media player and vlc player. Any assistance in obtaining of drew it up would be appreciated. Thank you!

When I export it and save the project as a. MP4 or. WMV file and try to play in Windows Media Player, Quicktime or VLC, as the audio of my theatre project. There is no video. Also, thinking that I have perhaps incompatible video files to Windows Movie Maker, I tried just using Jpeg files with audio to create a slide show, thinking that it would work with standard Habitat. Yet once, however, that the audio is played with a project containing pictures (no video). Any ideas?

  Audio was working fine, just no photos or video showing once the project has been saved as a movie. So, I tried your solution of creating a short slide show with photos only and no luck. I uninstalled and reinstalled movie maker and still no luck. Downloaded the pack codek for windows 7 and still no luck.

  So, I decided to download the Vista windows movie maker for my OS to windows 7 and everything works like a charm. Don't know how or why, but the version of Vista is flawless on my windows 7.

• Audio attached to the button "submit" plays at the beginning of the slide

  I created a text box with a "submit" button. When someone types in their response and clicks submit, text comments will appear and an audio excerpt explains the answer. I have attached the audio, the button submit, but when I go through the project that it plays as soon as the slide appears, not after the answer to the question. He does not appear in the timeline panel, but played when I go to the Audio tab of the submit button. As an aside, the audio on the success and failure of the feedback will be the same.   Well, how about that? I am answering my own question...!

  With more tests, I found that if I join the audio for the legends of success or failure, she plays after the answer to the question. The audio was playing when the slide appeared first of all because I loose to the Submit button, which is visible from the beginning of the slide.

  There should be several ways to do this.

  * If the sound is at the level of the slide, phase it so it's not 'appear' to a.5,.6 ou.7 seconds in. Then configure the button to pause seconds a.5.
  * Configure the button with a legend of success and set the audio to the legend of success
  * Insert the audio on the next slide and have the button simply open the next slide

  There are other ways as well. Just threw a little.

  The video works, all moving very well, surprise and also smile. But when the audio is turned on, it never shows the other mouth, speaking clear English (and audio levels very well)...

  Have a look, it s working in fact :-) bumpy at times... comments may be noise - wasn't using headphones... maybe I got a switch or located make correctly in the user interface.  great work thank you!
