    Hi Tommy

I think electronic power on your laptop is completely confused. I recommend you contact the customer Service of your country partner. It is unclear to me that you can do something like the end user.

Only thing you can do is to remove the battery and use the laptop with AC power and be happy that it works.

  • Help me, X 2301 razor thin Led questions

Hi, I'm the proud owner of a HP X 2301 Ultra thin led. When I got home after its purchase. I noticed that there is a 2.5 cm from the root of the hair long scratch in the center of the screen.

I am already registered with the Malaysia online HP warranty.

The shop that I bought from refuses to Exchange or rma product on my name because the issue could be the fault of the other party, they said. In fact, they try to say that I am the one who caused the scratch.

Of course, I believe that in the HP products. and I bought a sealed, box. How was I to know that there is a thin stripe in the middle of the screen?

After asking my friends and looking at some other information, I am now in a dilemma. because in the dark lighting or on a black background. the line can not be seen. However if I entered a word document or by using a color of the light/white background, the line seems to be rainbow color and is very distracting. (I measured approximately 2.5 to 3.5 cm in length and the thickness of a hair of head.

What could you professionals at HP recommends I do / or go about to fix this problem?

I found the solution to my problem.  I thought I would post how I did so if anyone else had the same problem.  It turns out, that I was in 'bedside' I woke up, and when it is in this mode, the default settings have the light.  You can change this so that it is on when messages are received.  To access this menu, simply press the menu button and click options.  Or you can just leave the option 'night mode '.

  • Satellite L670 question load - pink battery led

    Hey,.

My laptop (Satellite L 670) often has a charging problem.

First, the laptop runs normally, the power cord is connected and the battery correctly.
That, however, the adapter is still plugged, all of a sudden the loading stops.

At the same time two of the first three LEDs indicating the change:
    * Mode: adapter = white LED, power LED = white, battery LED = red-orange
    * Mode problem: adapter = white LED, power LED = no light, battery LED = Rose & flashing

    A few additional notes:

-Sometimes when I go out to reconnect en loading adapter starts again, but sometimes it has no effect.
-When the laptop is in sleep mode or stop charging happens without any problem.
-If I remove the battery and the laptop works only on the adapter, there is no problem.
-J' get the feeling that the workload problem often takes place when the fan starts or stops turning.

No idea what my cause the problem?
A broken battery or an adapter?
    A trainee problem?

    Thank you

On the virtual path that is not easy to say with certainty what the problem may be, and we can only speculate what is the problem. In my opinion there is a problem with electronic power supply, so it must be checked by the Toshiba service provider.

I have a similar problem with the old Satellite P200D. I ve tested with two adapters CA / CC and two batteries. The problem is always the same, so it must be a question of power.

Is the warranty for your laptop still valid?

  • Question about lights LED R7000

Question about this quote from the Manual: "when the router is turned on, the light during approximately 10 seconds and then turn. If all lights lit, this indicates a fault in the router"my router lights LED is turned off. Are they supposed to? I discovered how manually to disable using genius. NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 is defective?

I think the manual means just that at first they all turn on, then off for a few seconds. LED lights depending on what services are available.

The power light should stay lit. Port LAN LED come on if a device is connected the WiFi LED (Amber on white, 100 M, 1000 m), are we if the radios are turned on. The Wan or the internet LED lights up if there is a connection to the internet. Some of them you can turn off via the user interface, but it is handy to have on so that you know the status.

It looks like your router working normally.

  • Legitimate question of phishing, clicked on a link in an unknown e-mail that led me to the site.

    OT: Question of Phishing.

So I see messages similar to this, but they are all a little different from mine. I received this email from the team Microsoft account saying there was a possible security problem and I had to change my password. I clicked on the link, because it's been a long week and I'm a fool. I realized immediately after it WAS weird and he looked up and found stories about the phishing scam.

But the thing is the link took me to the microsoft Web site. I changed my password. They send me a verification code. I went back on the Google site and it looked exactly the same. I logged in using the new password and it worked.

I was at least smart enough to use a password that I don't use for anything else. But I panicked a bit because I clicked on a link in a bizarre e-mail that led me to the legitimate site. Any suggestions on what I should do?

    Hello and welcome!

Make sure that your antivirus didn't pick up any new virus or malware on your system. The system may have brought you to a Microsoft Web site, but installed a keylogger.

Using a PC clean and safe, change your password of Microsoft to stay safe. Use a program like Windows Security Essentials and Malwarebytes to scan your PC.

  • Question about Wi - Fi led and Portege Z930 switch

    Hi people,

I'm not sure my configuration: could someone confirm that the wifi led near the touchpad is the only conduit of amber color?
In addition, my F8 key for the wifi switch does not work: anyone knows which is the package?
    Thank you

I n t have this Portege but I know who has long LED to WLAN has amber color.

    F8 and Wi - Fi:
By using the FN + F8 key combination, you should be able to toggle WLAN card.
You can use FN flash cards or there is no response when you press FNbutton?

If you can see the flash cards, which occur when you try to use the FN + F8 key combination? Is there a status message?

  • Satellite L650 - 1 M 0 - Question about LED control using a writing software? in C++

    Hello

Is it possible that a console program written in C controls the State of the led on the computer?
I speak not here the LED keyboard, but the led corresponding to such a State of hard disk, power state.

It's at all the possibility to 'take control' over these diodes? Or rather, it controls a separate computer system?

Most of the care on the State of control module LED WiFi adapter. I replaced the network card, but my laptop is not the end of support. Start the computer, but you can't control adapter to function keys. When you disable the card in Device Manager, the light does not turn off.

If I could create a program that will control the LED, if I could take a supplement (separate second program) for the function keys, which does not support the new card.
    Laptop is a Toshiba Satellite L650 1 M 0.

I think that computer security is not strong because it is not protected from the BIOS. If it was, wouldn't at all. Only the lack of logic LED WiFi.
By taking the scientific program caught can control the LED.

  • X131e - Questions about SSD and wifi LED

I want to buy a soon while they are reduced. I'm curious to know if, as there is no option of customization, it will be easy/possible to upgrade the 7200 RPM HDD for a SSD?

Also I keep reading on the wifi has led as a feature, but see I'll buy it for the exterior of the school is really not. Is it possible to disable? I guess that's not a major drawback, but I've yet to see, so it is

You should be able to replace the standard with a SSD HARD drive. Make sure you get a drive that is 7 mm thick. Former readers of 9.5 mm, without doubt, be good.

Either way, you can put the original HARD drive in a SATA enclosure and connect it to your X131e via USB as a backup device.

I'm not sure I understand your concern about the WiFi LED, but if you want to remove the light just paste a small piece of insulation tape black on it. If the issue that the light is too bright, you can probably find a movie broadcaster to stick on it will ease.

  • Power supply question - amber LED flashing - Dimension E520

So, I'm working on the dust removal and re - install windows on a machine. I've done dusting, but now I have problems with a LED flashes orange. The system will not top all - fuel without fans or beeps.

After looking through some posts for ideas, I think it is a bad power supply or a problem with the heat sink.

I think power because this seems to be a common problem. How can I test the existing? Is there a way to fire unless it is connected to the motherboard?

The reason why I am wary of the heatsink is that I removed it when I was doing the dusting. I had the intention of fire tonight and get a new thermal paste in the coming days. Since then, I have read that this could be a recipe for frying the total CPU and I wonder if the machine is not pulled up like a check for free preservation any.

It detects if I removed the heatsink? If it's happening, it will automatically detect when the new thermal paste is in there? Or is there a reset procedure any?

Any help would be great. Thank you!

As a side note, the design of this box is poor. I can't find some way to dust effectively the heatsink without removing it from the central unit. Supply openings do not match, so you cannot blow a good flow of air through the box.

I got my flashlight just less than a week with no problems... until this morning.

When I got it out of the box flashed the light green for emails, and blue for the BBM, which was up to today - now it flashes red. I appreciate, it's a minor annoyance, but someone has an idea what is going and it can be fixed?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi bromtown and welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums!

The native color of LED for incoming messages should be red.  Looks like you may have a 3rd party app on your BlackBerry that changes the color of the LED.  Is this correct?

    Thank you
