Legal notice - change image of banner XP classic logon screen?

I recently discovered how to change the banner of "the classic logon screen" XP up to the top of a logo of my choice, however, before you deploy this change to all clients in my network, I would like to know if there are legal issues with the removal of the existing "Windows XP" banner. Someone at - it any information on that? Thanks in advance.

If you don't know what banner I'm talking about, see this image: http://yfrog.com/5nwindowsxpctrlaltdeletelj

All what you need to do is replace msgina.dll in the folder system32 with a program like reshack (it is safe to use and is free)

My fonts/text changes when I pass the classic 3D Ray traced 3D. Why would he do that? In addition, I can't have the fonts/txt look the same after I switch from classic to the Ray traced. How can I get it to look the same?

'Normality' disappears because blend modes do not work in the ray-traced rendering engine. Fortunately, you just had it set to normal and weren't trying not to use the screen or multiply or something else. It shouldn't be a problem for you.

The text changes color is because the ray-traced rendering engine is made things very differently. You must go in the hardware settings and adjust them to the ray-traced rendering engine. For example, it is reflective? If so, that would make a big difference in how it looks based on what you have reflecting.

    Change the screen resolution

Screen resolution refers to the clarity of the text and images on your screen. At higher resolutions, items appear sharper. They appear also smaller, so more items adapted to the screen. At lower resolutions, fewer items adapted to the screen, but they are larger and easier to see. At very low resolutions, however, images may have serrated edges.

For example, 640 × 480 is a lower screen resolution, and 1600 × 1200 is higher. CRT monitors generally display a resolution of 800 × 600 or 1024 × 768. LCD monitors can better support the higher resolutions. If you can increase your screen resolution depends on the size and capability of your monitor and the type of video card you have.

  • How can I change or modify the windows logon screen?

I want to change the image and the sound at startup of windows

    Hi, Germain,.

Thanks for posting your query in the Microsoft Community Forums.

According to the description, it seems that you wish to change or modify the Windows logon screen and also, you want to change the sound of the system. I will help you in this problem.

For the opening of window screen:

Change the logon screen background is not supported by default in Windows 7. You will need to consult a 3rd party program.

    Note:

With the help of third-party software or a link, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third party software or link can be resolved. Using third-party software or a link is at your own risk.

    For the Windows startup sound:

I suggest you to follow the steps and check if it helps.

    (a) click Start, select Control Panel, sounds and click on tab "sounds".

From there, you can select the individual and change them in the drop-down list of the default sounds provided by Windows. If you want your own sound select it using Browse. Remember that it should be in format WAV for Windows to run. After you click apply and Ok.

I hope it helps. If you have any questions about Windows in the future, please let us know. We will be happy to help you.
