• Set the length of the region numerically

  For Logic Pro how can 10.2.2 I change the starting position and length of a region digitally as opposed to drag.

  If I inspect a note into the piano roll, I can set the beginning of the note and the length by typing in numbers.

  But the region Inspector does not show the start position and length of the region and there seems to be any place to edit it.

  And I don't see that in the event the Inspector notes, of regions. (Only of course MIDI regions)

  I have occasional problems when combining audio regions.

  Here are my steps:

  1. join the parts of two tracks: Edit > join > regions

  2. audio regions are combined successfully in stereo (picture 2).

  I have repeat step 1 for the other audio regions. Then I'll mix the regions resulting stereo mixer with Edit > join > regions > mixdown of the audio regions > stereo. Normally, gives me the result below:

  For some reason, Logic Pro is not giving me the option for a stereo mixer with my current project. Only, it will give the possibility to create a new audio file from noncontiguous regions.

  Instead of ending up with handset audio regions shown on image 3 (far right), I get a single waveform as shown in picture 5. My goal is to finish with the attached stereo image shown on the right side of the image 3. I don't want the result of waveform in Figure 5 below.

  Normally, I have no problem combining parts of mixing as those shown in image 3, because Logic Pro offers the possibility for a mix of audio regions in stereo. Other times, it is not.

  Anyone know how to fix this? I'd appreciate any help.

  I recently finished with borrow some American DVD and want to change my region back. This is not the first time I did and made sure that when chaning to region 1 I've had enough chances to return to region 2. However, when I select region 2, a box comes up saying this is my last change and the computer remains on region 2, for which I click ok. But then it comes up with the message "unable to update region setting. the drive reports that it requires media of the destination region (region 2) Please insert a suitable medium and try again. I tried to do this with a number of different region 3 DVD. and do it via the windows MediaPlayer Device Manager and my HP MediaSmart DVD player.

  I have a HP DV6-1240ea running windos vista, I got it for about 6 months. is there something I can do?

  Yes, it was okay, that I was getting the message "unable to update region setting.

  But the changes remaining was to 1 not to zero. However, I've now had this problem fixed.

  Hi all in one pc with the decimal separator defined as, comma (European) that I have to install software that needs a decimal separator such as .dot.

  Is it possible to create a user dedicated with regional setting for the software? The OS is Windows 7.

  Control Panel-> language settings and the region are generally a per-user setting...  So yes, you should be able to create another user, connect you as a user, go to:

  Control Panel-> region and language-> Formats (tab)-> extra-> settings

  and then the tab "Numbers" or "Currency", set your "decimal symbol", as you like it and 'OK' your way on.  This setting should then apply to this user.

  Look at the packaging of your DVD. DVD region is noted on the back of the housing. It comes to the region, for that you need to change your DVD drive. To do that follow these steps:
  a. click 'Start', followed by 'Computer' or 'My computer', then right click on the DVD icon and select "Properties".
  b. choose 'Material' and select "DVD région" tab click on the region that you want to change your computer DVD drive to, then select 'OK '.
  c. Insert the DVD in your DVD drive and open Windows Media Player. The computer can now play your foreign DVD movie.

  Your DVD player can change regions only five times. The fifth change becomes your permanent DVD region.

  Try to change the region of 1 to 4 (Australia) settings on the settings of my dvd region tab.  Even though I have still 1 chance and have inserted a region 4 dvd in the drive, it still gives me the following error message:

  That you change the settings of 1 to 4 (Australia) area, we advise to insert any media (CD or DVD) of Australia in the CD/DVD drive and try to change the region settings to see if it works very well.

• Symbol of the visible region set - I can't 'get' it

  I use edge animate for a short period, but still can not find how to set the 'visible' area of a symbol. Here's what I'm trying to do - create a box on the stage that displays images and text which can be the object of a scroll with a scroll bar.

  I create elements on the stage and convert to symbol. It seems that I should be able now edit this symbol and reduce the amount of 'height' to cause scrollbars to appear. But this has no effect on the symbol. I placed the symbol on the stage and all of that the display 'scroll' or 'auto' and it doesn't care the new height adjustment.  What Miss me?

• Length of the Clip setting causes the temporary freeze on playback

  I use a PC with 16 GB of ram and Windows 10 first Pro 2015.

  I am changing a 5 part series, each part is about 20 minutes.

  I use a dynamic link to after effects 2015. Each clip dynamic link has been made and replaced.

  The problem comes when I adjust the length of any clip or move the clip on the timeline. Playback freezes for several minutes. Apart from that, it is fine, until I need to adjust the length or move another clip. Another 3-4 minutes gel. It seems that this then that his jelly:

  I have a Satellite L310 D4011 I bought recently in which I installed a DVD playback software.
  I run Windows XP. One of my friends played a video clip of the United Kingdom (Mccartney Live at red square) in the DVD player and the original region setting that was 0 with 5 remaining changes, went to 4 changes remaining and the area is now set to 2. I am in India where the region for DVD is 5. If I change to 5, I lose another change option.

  I don't want to leave my DVD ROM stuck 0 left options and some other areas.

  Can someone give me advice to reset the region back with five remaining options - as it was when I bought the laptop?
  I'll be very grateful. The salesperson who I bought the laptop will be able to get back to factory setting?

  I think Toshiba has nothing to do with it. To protect the film industry and interests all laptop manufacturers offer optical disk drives where you can watch movies with country code but only 5 times. The last chosen region code will be set as default. So if you have more than 4 codes there is no reason to panic. Just continue to watch movies in your favorite area.

  I'm 100% sure that Toshiba service or the vendor where you bought your laptop will say that they have nothing to do with it. In drive properties you have set out to clear how it works.

  In any case, you can try to contact them and ask for help.

  1. How many times to change the region settings of the DVD drive on the computer?
  2. You are logged in Windows by using the administrator account?

  Check and make sure that you logged in to the administrator account and check if it helps.

  If you have changed the settings for region of the DVD player more than 5 times then you will not be able to change more.

  Try to insert a zone 2 DVD and then try to change the DVD region setting. I suggest you use an exclusive region code 2 DVD and check if it helps.

• How can I do a synchronized audio track matches the length of the clips selected in a seq multicam?

  I have a continuous multicam sequence about 13 minutes containing a master audio track synchronized, registered separate microphones. I want to rearrange the scenes of her in my final sequence, but when I select a range of clips to nest the length of audio is pasted in the new sequence.
