Lenovo battery indicator went?

At some point in the last few days or weeks, the battery indicator green simply disappeared from my X 1 Yoga (Win10) without a trace and it seems I'm not the only one with this problem. I tried to download from the support page, but the software has been removed from the list, and a google link leads only to a "page not found" message

So, what happens? Will there be a new version of the battery indicator? Why the old has been uninstalled and not everything just updated via system update?

The feature has been integrated into the application 'settings of Lenovo"apparently, Lenovo.

  • Clock and battery indicator went

Hey, I've finally updated to OS X El Capitan last night. Everything goes a lot overall, I love the new features and the whole system runs a lot faster. The only problem I have is that since I've updated the clock and battery indicator are no longer visible in the status bar at the top of my screen. Does anyone else have a similar issue or know how to recover? I'm running it on my early 2013 13 "Macbook Pro retina. Thank you

Note aside, is there a way to display images here? This is my first post so I am new on how it all works and I want to post a screenshot of what appears on the status bar.

You went in the preferences-> Energy Saver system and provided for the option to display the status of the battery is turned on?

Have you went into the preferences system-> Date time & -> clock and ensured that the option to display the date & time in the menu bar is turned on?

In response to customer relationships of unexpected problems with the performance of the batteries portable Z500 and Z510, Lenovo made an update of the firmware of battery available via download on the Lenovo Forums.

This battery firmware is intended to solve unexpected load following symptoms when a Z500 and Z510 mobile phone is turned on:

    • Battery is dead

    • Battery is not detected

    • Battery is detected and charged 100%, but when the power is removed, the laptop turns off immediately

    • When the battery is fully charged and the AC power is removed, the battery level falls considerably less than 10 minutes

Please note a procedure step by step for the upgrade of the firmware is included in the .zip file, found in the file "ReadMe".

  • Re: Satellite A100-811 main battery indicator is OFF

    Hello

I have a toshiba satellite a100-811 and the problem is the following:
When it is plugged in, the main indicator should be blue (full load) or orange (charge).
Now it is off (no light at all).

I unplugged DC and back is plugged and the fire was orange for a few seconds and then went off again. Battery is charged at 99%.

What is a battery or a motherboard problem?
The laptop is old. Should I be backing up my files?

    > Should I be backing up my files?

You should always have a backup of your files in case something bad happens to your laptop or HARD drive.
But the battery issue would not affect your files directly.

    However, try this:
Remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter.
Now hold down the power button / stop along 30 sec.
Then, plug the battery and plug in the AC adapter and check if the battery indicator would be IT.

But I think that if the laptop is still running even if the AC adapter is not connected, then the battery should be ok

  • Y580 does not start after the battery indicator reset

Hi fans of Lenovo! 3 months now since I bought a Lenovo y580. A notebook of beast when it comes to games. Recently, I tried to use a preinstalled software from Lenovo to reset my battery indicator because it showed an erroneous accusation. The software did his thing - he charged the battery to 100%, then acquitted at 0 and off my laptop. Now, it does not - turn the button market / stop just makes battery LED flash 3 times and that's it! I tried to disconnect the battery and turn on - but nothing happens. What should I do?

Remove the battery and plug in the computer if the computer turns on then it might be the battery.

If this is not the computer may have messed up and bit.

and to be sure to keep it plugged in for a while.

the recalebrater of entirely fresh battery then fully discharge

  • Battery indicator indicates "battery is not installed."

Lenovo SL 510 10mos old. "Recently, the battery indicator indicates" battery is not installed. Occurs when you use the power supply mains or battery only. Have the batteries removed and replaced, but still the same message. Power Manager shows also the battery does not exist. Operation is OK on battery alone, but I have no idea about the State of charge of the battery, time remaining, etc.. Is there any solution for this? The update of the firmware released 08/09/2010 will solve the problem? Help please.

Tried all three. Patrick first Bishop: no change driver Hotkey: no change. Last updated firmware. Message: firmware update not required. Rebooted and flag State is back on and functioning.

    Thanks for your help.

  • Looking for icon of the T400 (on Win 7) battery indicator

I just upgraded to Win 7 64 bit... and I noticed Win 7 comes with its own icon 'battery' in white, sitting on my systray.

I remember that with my T400 on Win XP before I used for this neat battery indicator sitting on my systray icon (it was a picture of a battery translucent which has been fillded green when fully charged and becomes orange/red dark when exhausted).

I can't find the right software on the drivers page to download this indicator of return. Anyone know where to find?

    That would be Power Manager:

I have an iPhone 6 more, an official version of China, it shows a battery indicator when I turn off support, is this normal? I can depulicate this function to another iPhone? I know how?

I remember reading somewhere on the Apple site in recent years on some models of Chinese iPhone with this capability. No other iPhones display this and there is no way to enable it. I can't find the article which includes this information.

  • Satellite R850 - faulty battery indicator? How to calibrate?

My Satellite R850 stops at about 70% of the battery capacity. It is not suspended, just power off. Market is possible only when the AC adapter is reconnected. My first guess is that (after only a year of daily use), the battery had its best time and must be replaced.

But why the battery indicator only shows the right capacity, so I can get a warning to low battery power?
Is there a tool or method for recalibrating the battery?

    Hello

To me, that shows that your battery is defective.
Usually sooner or later each battery needs to be replaced because the battery life is limited.
I have no idea how old your battery is but in my case the battery is 5 years old and he hold the power for about 2 min only. But the funny thing is that the battery indicator indicates battery is fully charged (100%).

However, you can extend the lifetime of battery a little bit. You need to calibrate the battery from time to time in charge and discharge of battery. This procedure should be repeated several times is the row
But I guess these calibrations and your battery failure doesn't help much.

  • Excite Pro - battery indicator to 0%

Battery indicator is stuck at 0% - battery charge is ok don't know what it is. I guess the battery statistics file is damaged - is the only way to fix a factory reset?

Calibration must either root - not possible or charge of 60% - will not work as 0%!

I think you should set it to factory settings.
Press and hold the power button / stop and the volume up button. Then from the menu choose factory reset.

If it does not, then, the question must be linked to the hardware failure

  • NB200 - battery indicator shows the life of the battery in percentage

    Hello
    Someone had this problem?

My (Windows and also the PM from Toshiba) battery indicator does not show remaining battey in minute but life only in percentage.
is this correct or there are some strage parameters in power setting menu?

    Thank you

Mine did the same thing, it's just how it is in XP. But I think the Vista energy saver indicates the remaining time.

I think you'll need to download a battery of Internet utility to display the remaining time.

  • iPhone battery indicator 6 s is still not exact

I think that iOS 9.3 update was supposed to fix the problem where the iPhone 6 and 6 s more the battery indicator are not accurate. I'm under 9.3, but still see the same symptoms, or a fall of 3% at the same time, or turn off completely with 10-15% left. I was going to submit a bug report, but wanted to see if it's just a problem with my particular iPhone first.

Try to calibrate your battery first to see if your phone and not a bug. I use a 6 s and have not (yet) noticed these symptoms, I have found other reproducible problems with the battery percentage and have so far submitted two bug for these reports.

  • Windows XP, battery indicator disappeared

After that I did the update of Windows (Windows XP), the blue battery indicator disappeared from the taskbar. Normally when the computer ran on battery there is a battery next to the clock indicator and shows the battery level. Hello

I'm not sure but I think the blue battery is MS. power management tool If you use the Toshiba designed tool here are the more detailed settings.

  • Satellite C650: Battery indicator is always orange even after a full charge

My toshiba laptop C650 has indicator sistem to always load amber.
Even if it is fully charged.

If I disconnect from charger it works on battery long enough, that tell me may battery is ok.
But why this indicator stay amber? Is there a problem?

I have to worry about this?
    Thank you.

    Hello

Usually, the battery indicator should go green (color depending on phone model) if the battery is fully charged.
If the battery indicator changes not amber green/blue then this would mean that the battery is not completely charged
Well, maybe you should try to calibrate the battery once more
Discharge the battery to his completely empty, then load it again until the battery status would show 100% charge then discharge the battery once again this procedure should be repeated two, three times in the line!

If this is not enough, well, you might try a new battery but I put t know if its worth it to buy a new battery if the current battery still works well.
