  Intel HD graphics is integrated with the processor, a dedicated graphics chip will be soldered to the main Board.

  If you change the CPU with a more powerful one you probably have to install a larger radiator as well.

  We ended up using the customized image of Lenovo to upgrade our blades HS23 and our M4 3550 even if the upgrade guide said that it was not supported. We did an installation not and update on the computers hosts and everything seems to work very well.

  Well, the things you can upgrade usually inside a laptop are WLAN card, RAM, hdd and ssd. You can easily update (as long as the game of frequency/slot) of RAM and hard drive (as long as it is 2.5 "9mm h) without any problem at all. What about the wireless network card, some people say that bios of Y510p is not white, others say that it is (as do all the other laptops lenovo) and if this is true then you will not be able to update (or at least, until that someone publishes a bios with whitelist checking disabled). And for SSD part, right now, I don't know about the two types of connectors for SSD in Y510p (I do not speak on disk replacing HARD 2.5 "SSD option, if you want - this is the same as for the HARD drive regularly).
