  I know me.  I have Oracle Forms/Reports 10 g R2 (10.1.2.0.2) installed and works great on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.  Of course, Oracle does not support this configuration, it can and does work.

  First of all, I have a few questions for you.

  1. you are on a corporate network or home network?
  2. what version of Java you have installed?  Please indicate the full version number.

  I installed Windows XP Professional x 64 on my T400 (NM51JHV aka 2767-1JG), I need this because I added 2 GB of ram to my laptop, so I need an OS 64-bit for the use of 4 concerts.   I'm having some trouble with my month old T400. Every time there is an update being installed where a reboot is required, if its from Microsoft or Lenovo ThinkVantage, the system goes black after the shutdown to restart, beeps 1-3-3-1, then doesn't come back. The screen remains black as I hear that the system is still running.

  I've seen other messages have the same succession of 1-3-3-1 beep (beep... break... beep.beep.beep... break... beep.beep.beep... break... beep), but they don't seem to have all the solutions. Any ideas, or is it a flawed system?

  System works well, once I have manually the hold down the power button and turn it manually again, but its starts to worry me.

  Sounds like your memory or internal video card is going on you. Try to reinsert your memory modules (or Exchange) first.   Same thing here, iMac with OS X 10.11.6. All started a couple days ago. Have not found any valid solution online yet, I tried rebooting in recovery mode and check disk, but it seems that everything is ok with the drives and permissions.

  I upgraded my MBP (mid-2015) to Sierra yesterday and now its not shut down or restart properly. Its get stuck on the black screen with nothing on it (not even a cursor). The display lights stays ON but nothing really from there, I even left there like that for more than 20 minutes. I Force shutdown by pressing the power button / stop for a few seconds.
