Levels/brightness / contrast does not work

Well, I had this problem for awhile now.

Whenever I want to use levels or brightness settings / contrast, pop up comes up, I set the sliders, there is a glimpse, but he always comes back to the same thing when I press OK. It worked once, I don't know I how I did you. I read that he has worked for many people with the image to 100% (Ctrl or Cmd + 0 0), but it does not work for me. I'm editing a scan black and white drawing.

Help.

Settings of tones and colors will not work on pixels that are entirely black or entirely white, not until they are moved away from 0 or 255. It's just the nature of things. Try to move the Middle slider in the levels, on a black and white checkered pattern and see for yourself.

The display of 100% is not "making work" - it gives you a precise overview. The thing is that a mode other than 100% is a version on the scale and resampled and this introduced resampling of the intermediate levels that are not really there in the full version.

  • Re: Satellite Pro S500 - brightness adjustment does not work correctly

On my Satellite Pro S500 (preinstalled Windows 7 64-bit) change the brightness by pressing FN - F6 or FN + F7 does not work. The other NF - f... combinations seem to work correctly.

When I press FN - F6 (or F7) a control box to change the brightness to poster (as expected), but the level is still displayed as "1" independent of the current value (for example changed from Control Panel or with the eco utility) and it is not possible to change it with FN - F6 or F7. I just reinstalled vap and restarted the computer, but nothing has changed.

    Hi asdf.

I put t know what s wrong exactly but normally the FN keys are associated with value added Package, but you wrote that you already reinstalled

In my opinion, you should try a system restore to an earlier point. Maybe something messed up the registry, you can start System Restore in Windows Advanced Boot menu.

  • Satellite A660 - 11 M - brightness adjustment does not work after hibernate

Sometimes, I find that you use F6, F7 to control brightness does not work. This only seems to happen after a fresh reboot, but after being out of hibernation.

I am running Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit and using the latest NVidia driver (obtained from toshiba yesterday Web site): 8.16.11.8988

A way to solve this problem?

    Hello

From my own experience, I can say that all the FN buttons work perfectly after hibernation, standby, restart, etc.. No problem at all!

I put t know what is the problem, but in your case would be to reinstall the package of added value and utility to Support Flash Cards. Two tools to control the FN key functions and can be downloaded from the official page of Toshiba.

But before you reinstall it, remove older versions first. Then install VAP, restart and finally Flash Cards Support utility.

PnP monitor is also activated. What should I do?

    Hello

You laptop has Intel/Nvidia switchable graphics and search RTA the screenshot, it does not resemble the driver Intel is installed.

    Try the following.

Download driver Intel HD Graphics on the following link and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp72501-73000/sp72810.exe

Once complete, download and reinstall the Chipset driver from the link below.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp72001-72500/sp72043.exe

When it's over, don't reboot not the laptop that you are prompted, rather open your download folder, right-click on the Intel HD Graphics package and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.

Once this done, reboot the laptop and let Windows load completely for a few minutes before checking.

  • Satellite A100-683 with Win 7 - screen brightness adjustment does not work

    Hello

    I have a model of Satellite A100-683 PSAA9E with Win 7

My problem is that I don't have a brightness in my dashboard-> laptop Center

I tried to install the drivers from the site Web of Toshiba (additional package, return), but stops the installation always with errors such as: value added package: PVAT Setup error

I tried to install the drivers for Vista...

    Please help me!
    Sorry for my English mistakes.

    Hello

The installation may stop due to system problems or the PVAT erroneous version.
I recommend you to uninstall the installed VAP.
After the PVAT has been uninstalled, restart the laptop.
Now, download and install the tool small freeware called CCLeaner.
It helps to clean the system and deletes files temporal garbage from the HARD drive.
After the cleaning of the system registry, you must restart the system once more.

Now, go to the page of the Toshiba UE driver and download the Toshiba value added Package for Win 7. Note! Choose the right! There are differences between the 32-bit and 64-bit version.

Unzip the package, run the exe from installation or installation file and start the installation.
Installation should finish properly and after new reboot, you should be able to use the function keys.
