• Page layout in V11 license problem

  I got a support request on an error with page layout in V11 license. The same project works very well in V10, but while trying to open in V11 layout options only are not enabled (attached screenshot). They have the MWO-449. Can someone tell me what the problem is here?

  Hey Jake,

  Did you put your license file in the installation directory or elsewhere?

  You can if you put it in the installation directory:

  1. move the license out of the installation file

  2. open the software.  It will put you in the configuration dialog of the licences where you can press set location.

  3 browser to the new license file location and select the license.

  4 restart the design environment and see if the problem is corrected.

  Whenever I try to license, I get an error message:

  Has anyone ever had this problem?

  I have dual CPU servers (so I bought 4 licenses) that they are by CPU.

  VmWare does not seem to understand my problem.

  I'm looking for answers because nobody seems to be able to tell me.

• Windows 7 Reacondicionador user license problems

  We have acquired 6 laptops Dell Latitude E5500 to a Microsoft Reacondicionador (local non-profit) to use in the Recovery Center for our young men (also non-profit) to increase their skills and knowledge. The portable computers came loaded with Win 7 Pro and Office 2010 H & B. Any windows low altitude had been implemented of the security passwords. (Level of knowledge and skills of the provider is, in a couple of conversations, or even lower than mine, which not very well.)

  I went through the software and ensured that it is AUSTRALIAN locale to spelling. I also went online updates of Microsoft and later to Dell software updates to the driver.

  I then tried to create a Standard user and to set a password for the Admin account. When I reboot, and when I am logged into the Admin account, I got the same result: a red circle with a white inside X and 'OK' in a box. OK lead to a life normal sign on screen showing the Admin and the new account, but there is no picture/logo in the new user box and the chosen username has not shown to be. When I clicked on the new user, I was introduced to two fields: username and password. These filling correctly worked, as did selecting the Admin account and entering the password. (With users who are still rehab and trying to adapt to life in what is effectively a halfway house opposes giving them access to computers that are not protected by Word.) Similarly they have access to their phones during the first weeks.)

  I tried to get the accounts invited working, with the same result.

  Reference Dell continue to say they are looking at it - for two weeks so far.

  It seems to me that Microsoft Refurb of Windows 7 versions can not easily allow multiple users. But it is not logical for me.

  We have found the money to buy the laptops. This will really be a pity if we cannot use them.

  All suggestions will be appreciated.

  Ah - the solution is to go in monitor-> access points and click New search. Search ALL of your AP not associated and remove them. I noticed the same thing on my controllers. If you look in the monitor or configure lists, you see that the number of AP looks right. But if you add the AP to a floor plan, you will see all the extras (in my case, AP, which had been renamed by default). Then, I made all my AP have been renamed and remove all identifying unnamed PA and my number of licenses is fine.

  (1) what type of program you use to play music?

  (2) this format is the music?

  Some files have the safe use / anti descriptors of piracy embedded with the file requiring a license to play. When you have copied discs on your original computer they may have been lost.

  If the song is or has been registered with the copy protect music checked option (found on the Rip music TAB TAB to burn Windows Media Player under Rip settings) it will always encourage media rights of use. If you copy then you will be asked to download the rights to use this computer. There are a limited number of times, you can download usage rights.

  Try to re-record the songs from your original CD on the drive with the copy protect music option unchecked and see if, then they will play for you. Know also that some CDs are protected against copying factory and you must have rights to use download verified for them. I guess that's the prompt that you are talking about.

  I had some weird X-11 with my Linux system problems that resulted to reinstall - now that I have a system that works, I tried to get VMware (workstation 9.0.1) will again. But, when I click on the button marked "Enter License Key" actually nothing happens.

  I have tried two ways - on the user account:
  (1) request password (root - probably)

  

  (2) entered password, no key entry form is displayed

  

  As root:
  1) click on the button
  (2) nothing happens

  I tried strace, but VMware seems to be busy returning a VMserver (that I have in any case), so for practical reasons, it is impossible to detect what is happening with the button.

  I looked in the KB but don't see anything relevant.

  I had a peek here but don't see anything relevant.

  I tried VMware support, but since it is more than 30 days since I upgraded to 9, I would have to pay to get the problem resolved.

  Anyone here seen this problem or have any suggestions?

• Lightroom stand-alone license problem

  I use Lightroom 5.6 experimentally for a few weeks and I want to go there and buy a standalone license. So I downloaded the 'full' version of LR from Adobe and it starts (no problem reading of my existing LR catalog). Can I get the dialog box "Welcome to Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. Two options: 'I have a serial number and want Lightroom license' or 'I want to try. So I select the first option, then below it says 'Serial number need?' with a button 'buy '. I select "Canada" I come from down in "Country/region". When I click on 'Buy' my browser opens. For only two seconds, a screen appears to ADDRESS http://www.adobe.com/store_selector/storeselector.html, where it looks like I'm supposed to identify my country again. But immediately the browser is redirected to the product catalog (http://www.adobe.com/ca/products/catalog.html). But here there is no option to buy a standalone license. If I click on the link to Lightroom need me just to the General info page products, with no options except from the creative clouds (which I don't).

  Anyone know how to buy a stand-alone license for Lightroom?
