"Licensing has stopped working". Mac OS
Yesterday, I upgraded to OS Maverick to find that my Vectorworks 2011 in is not compatible with it. So I reistalled OSX 10.8.5 to realize that now I can not use Illustrator (Adobe Creative Suite 3). I get the message "Licensing has stopped working".
Any help with this would be welcome. I need emergency to use this program.

There may be a soft "Uninstall" in the folder of CS. Once it is uninstalled, you can use the original DVD to reinstall (assuming you have them).

Mac OS 10.10, CS4: Error 150:30 "license has stopped working".
I recently did a restore from time Machine's hard drive. I'm on OS 10.10 (Yosemite) and have worked my way through the solutions advocated for error 150:30, according to the Adobe support site. However, none of them point specifically to OS 10.10 - most only go as high as 10.8 OS. What can be done to correct the problem in the system of 10.10, without completely re - install the software?
Thank you
I am working on the same kind of problem...
Most of the people say to try this:

I'm frankly more comfortable with redownloading, so I'll try that first. So far, so good, because I got my serial number.

Photoshop opens not because of the "licensing has stopped working for this product."
I bought Photoshop CS3 years there, like a box, not a download (probably about 6 years). He had worked like a charm, but the other day it does not open and gives me a message that "licensing has stopped working for this product. Anyone has any ideas on how to get this working again?

Licensing has stopped working after a clean install of the operating system for CS4
I did a clean install on my Mac Pro, now my CS4 doesn't work anymore. Gives me error code 150:30 (licensing has stopped working). I can't disable it on this computer because the help option is not available. So I can't turn it off before you uninstall and then reinstall. What is the best way to get this working again please? This is the Suite of Master CS4. Thank you...
Hi, Del, thank you very much - I tried the correction of license options but I also do not have the same files (FlexNet), so I reinstalled and my app are now opens again.
All happy it is now resolved!

The product licensing has stopped working
I have Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Standard, I bought my college tech store in 2009. I had already installed on my old laptop and when that broke, I just transferred on an external hard drive on my new computer laptop (OS X Yosemite). However, when I try and access all the Adobe Suite programs, he said that licensing has stopped working (error 5). How do I get this to work on my new computer? I have still the discs and serial number if that helps.
You say that you transferred applications. They must be installed using installation files, so if you have the disks and serial number you should have everything you need to install and activate. Uninstall what you have on it now, use the cleaning tool and then reinstall it from your disks (or download: Download CS4 products ).

InDesign CS4 using on iMac. EU to restore the backup computer. Licensing has stopped working. 150:30 error code. How can I restore my license?
You must install the Adobe programs since the original installation programs. Never migrate from a backup.
Activation Adobe should detect a computer when the material has not been changed.
If this isn't the case, you must contact Adobe support.

"Licensing has stopped working" OS 10.9.2 hard replaced after crash
"Licensing has stopped working" quite suggested adobe: remove Flexnet license repair tool, disk permissions ext ect. I recently had a new hard drive put in my IMAC, after the failure of a last they improved BONES to 10.9.2, perhaps this has something to do with it? Impossible to uninstall the last hard drive? idk. I couldn't reach anyone at adobe, and although I've seen other people with the same problem I saw a solution. @
After research on the internet and in discussions with several Adobe service representatives, the answer is so simple! CS4 is not compatible with 10.9.2!

CS3: Error "Licensing has stopped working". Upgrade to Mac OS Lion
Hello:
My faithful Adobe Photoshop CS3 has stop working with the update to Lion on my Intel iMac.
Specifically, when I try to launch it now I get "license for this product has stopped working. You cannot use this product at this time. You need to fix the problem... »
I went on this site for advice: http://helpx.Adobe.com/x-productkb/global/error-licensing-stopped-Mac-OS.html
I followed the Solution 1: delete the folder Preferences of FlexNet Publisher
It did not work.
Now I try the Solution 2: run the licensing repair tool
I get to step 5g and type:
sudo python/Volumes/LicenseRecovery\ 11.6.1/LicenseRecovery/LicenseRecoveryLauncher.app
I get my PW.
Then, I always get an error that reads:
File "/ Volumes/LicenseRecovery 11.6.1/LicenseRecovery/LicenseRecoveryLauncher.app ', line 1
SyntaxError: Non-ASCII character "\xfe" in the file/Volumes/LicenseRecovery 11.6.1/LicenseRecovery/LicenseRecoveryLauncher.app on line 1, but no encoding not declared; see http://www.Python.org/PEPs/PEP-0263.html for more information
Can anyone help? Thank you very much!
Just FYI for anyone else who might have this problem:
- I never had Adobe patch to the continued work to get the error messages like above.
- In desperation, I just deleted everything that I could find on my computer relating to the APS CS3 and reinstalled using the original disk. Everything works fine now!

Can I repair my version of Photoshop when the license has stopped working?
I just got a message when I tried to open a file in Photoshop, saying that "license for this product has stopped working". I have CS3. I work on a Mac under OSX-Yosemite 10.10.5. The message says that I must repair the problem by uninstalling and then reinstalling the probem. I have the installation disc. If I uninstall and reinstall it will work?

I just bought a new iMac and used the Migration Assistant to transfer all my programs from my old computer.
When I try to run my copy of InDesign CS4, I get the error message:
License for this product has stopped working
Error 150:30
Because the new iMacs don't have disk drives, I can't reinstall using my original DVD discs.
Adobe online support team have said that they are unable to help.
The approval of repair does not work in Yosemite
Does anyone have any suggestions?
With thanks a lot
Greg
And set the permissions on the appropriate files. The rest is between you and your Mac - what about Adobe are, that CS4 is not officially compatible with Yoesemite.
