• Impossible to update Lightroom 6.1.1

  I'm unable to update Lightroom 6.1.1 on my laptop.  I have not had a problem in the past with Lightroom 4 and 5.

  I start the process of update and when it is at 49% completed, the message ! Update failed - more information appears.

  When I click on learn more a small box appears with the message:

  Update failed

  There was an error of installation of this update.  Please try again later or contact customer support. (U44M11216)

  So I try again, and then a little same dialog box appears with the message:

  Update failed

  Download error.  Press Retry to try again, or contact customer support. (49)

  Every time I press retry the same message is displayed after a few seconds.

  I tried the solution given by Akash Sharma, on 5 August, without success.

  You are using internet security/firewall/antivirus software? If so try to disable temporarily during the update and enable it again after installation.

  Also try patching one of these download links.

• XML Core Services 4.0 Service Pack 2 KB936181 update every night before closing.

  I don't understand why the KB936181 above keeps saying that it needs to be updated and will update every night before closing. It's very annoying. It is said that it successfully updated each time but not go away and comes back. If you look at the history of the update, it updates every night. Can someone please?

  I have 6 LightRoom as independent. I tried to update LR because it won't open my Nikon D500 RAW files.

  Now don't open even LR. I use a MAC with OS X version 10.8.5.

  What should I do to be able to:

  See the system requirements for Photoshop Lightroom for Mac OS and Windows

  With OSX 10.8.5, you can not update beyond Lightroom 6.1. So, you'd have to update your operating system to install 6.6.1 and use effectively.

  You should probably uninstall Lightroom and reinstall Lightroom 6 to use Lightroom at all.

  Install Photoshop Lightroom

  You can use the FREE Adobe DNG Converter to convert the D500 RAW to DNG and then use them in Lightroom 6.

  You copy what you downloaded to a flash drive and bring it to the other computer. On the other computer that you want to update, run the installer, and who would update Lightroom on this computer. You wouldn't have Lightroom running while you are trying to update.

  I currently have 5.7.1 installed as part of my subscription to creative of cloud photography when I try to update Lightroom CC is to say that I have the latest version of Lightroom.   But I currently have 5.7.1 and not CC... How can I get my old version updated to the newer version.

  Is the 32-bit or 64-bit operating system? LR 6/cc requires a 64-bit operating system.

  You can switch to Lightroom 4 of Lightroom 2 (upgrade price is lower that the price of the version full). You will however need the serial number for Lightroom 2 (you who have hope). Also from the perspective of the Installation it is no use having LR2 installed on your system. You can install LR4 directly but you will need the serial number for LR2. • Photos of deleted the external hard drive after updating Lightroom

  I just installed the new update.  Wish I had read some of the forums before hand.     Of the photos on external hard drive and I wanted to add them to the catalog.  After that I added to an existing catalog, I don't see pictures on the external hard drive.     If I click on the folder on the external drive, there is nothing in the folder.     If I unplug the external drive, I see the question mark by the photos.

  In addition, if I take the external hard drive and plug it into my laptop (Macbook Pro), Lightroom detects photos and does not watch the point mark.  However, I can not see the pictures on the external hard drive.

  Where can I watch, or how to find them.   This seems very odd.

  I did as you asked.

  When to disconnect the drive and click on ""?, "it shows the external drive as the previous location."

  Where to plug the hard drive and search using the finder, that nothing is found.

  When I connect the drive, Lightroom see files and works normally.

  Lightroom sees the files if the external hard drive is connected which leads me to believe that they are still on the drive.    However, they are able to access by Lightroom.  I see nothing in the files on the external hard drive.

  This really baffled me.

• After update, Lightroom grayed out of external editors.

  I have followed the instructions, removed the preferences of the location in Windows (appdata etc.) ... reinstalled Lightroom and Photoshop (CC 2014).  External editors were not blurred only once.  It's only since the last update.

  Does not help restart.

  In the Plugin Manager, it shows them all installed and working properly.  The truth is, Lightroom won't let me not even select Photoshop.  Does anyone else have this problem?

  ACR?  Maybe I'm not awake yet?  I've uninstalled and reinstalled Lightroom and Photoshop yesterday... then where can I perform this function?

  When I moved from Lightroom 5 CC of Lightroom the Nik plug-ins were in place. I have a print utility provided with my printer that does not transfer automatically. But even if it was necessary was to copy the folder in the Lightroom 5 folder to the new folder Lightroom CC. I can't speak for all plug-ins because I don't use much.

My attempts to download and install this update failed. I received an error message saying that the update did not apply. I installed the Adobe application manager before making the update of 6.3. Why this error could occur? Can you help me? I need to be able to import raw images taken with the G9X.
