• 'Photos', in El Capitan will not let me buy my book because of 'empty frames.

  I scoured the internet to find answers - I tried to run a background check, and made sure they were all together in white (I can't even the possibility to put a picture in the background). I don't know what to check then, I swear to you that there are no empty frames! haha

  Each layout has an option to have a picture as the background of the page instead of a color.  You must have a picture full page with this option is selected or a photo multi page selected fills the entire page.

• Opening photo books!

  This year I did once more of our family directory in Aperture. When I try to buy the book nothing happens - it just freezes. I have Yosemite OS X and I know that Aperture is mitigation out of the system (how sad!) But how can I MAKE the computer buy the book I have som much taken of time? Can I put it in 'Photos' somehow? Or y at - it another clever way?

  Opening books migrate well for Photos, because the Photos using different themes and is more limited. It would be much better get the printed book of Aperture.

  The PDF of your book preview is correct?  Sometimes a book will not download, because an image can be made.  Visit this link: iPhoto, Aperture: previewing an order in iPhoto or Aperture

  Do you have enough free storage to create the finished book?  Sometimes the book impossible to download, because there is not enough free storage for PDF preview.

  And a firewall Antivirus software can block the connection to the store of print products.

  Check if your AppleID works by buying a free app on the AppStore.

  I really struggle with this...

  I already bought several books of photos with iPhoto - no problem. Now, I've migrated to Photos, make a new book, he presents a preview correctly, but when I press 'Buy the book' I get the error "the store is not available. Returned to service soon"message. In addition, "Photos > Print product Store account...". "is grayed out.

  But the store IS available - I checked using Photos on another computer in the same city.

  More mysterious - it works also when I start my computer from my backup drive a month, i.e. problem occurs ONLY when I use the current startup disk.

  Just to confirm, I tried everything I could find on these discussions:

  • Re-admitted all info AppleID
  • insured products Print Shop in ' Photos > Preferences > general "is in the same country as my billing address
  • time zone in system preferences is set in the same city/country
  • signed on iCloud and yet once
  • purchased an app from the App Store and a movie FRO the iTunes store
  • applied new OSX 10.11.6 using the Combo Update
  • cleared caches using Cocktail, including caches of Photos

  A few details:

  • iMac mid-2010, OSX 10.11.6, Photos 1.5
  • I have several Photos - problem occurs on all libraries

  To help isolate the problem to something user-specific or systemic, I would recommend creating a 'test' on your Mac user account. Take a look at this Web site for more information:

  Once you have created the test user account, log in and try to place an order to see if the problem persists. If so, I would recommend that you re-install the app next step pictures. Photos is an application built into OS X, you will need to re - install OS X using the instructions described here:

  When I try to order a photo book, it says "country not supported. Orders must be shipped in your billing country', but the United Kingdom is my billing country. My apple ID must be registered in the United Kingdom. I have a valid credit card that is registered in the United Kingdom. I don't understand what the problem... I spent all weekend, making this miserable book. It is cruel and unusual punishment!

  About photo books. Hi I have an old version of Photoshop 6 and 12 elements. Elements of 12 is used pretty much all my editing needs. It has a Photo book, but the model is not brilliant for example that it is clumsy, add captions. I've been watching 5 Lightroom that seems easy to book Photo, but I have to buy the full program of the room light 5 to use? If so, what is the cost?

  If you've ever bought any version of Lightroom, then it would cost you $ 149 to buy Adobe's Lightroom. You may be able to get cheaper elsewhere.

  And it seems of course exaggerated to get Lightroom just for the book module, but if this is really what you want, Blurb (and probably other publishers of books) offer free software to take pictures and turn them into photo albums.

  What version of the operating system and Photos you have? Check that you have the correct printing products store selected in the preferences of your Photos and that the billing and delivery address on your account (menu Photos == > print store account) has the same country

  BUT - all completely scrambled and useless page layouts

  "Photojournalism" is the only theme that works well for this Album

  Version 1 cannot be used because all the pictures/text/Layouts are now improved

  2 days wasted trying to buy a book in iPhoto from Apple...

  At least I have a good PDF of Version 4 I can take for local printing

  You can buy is more books of photos with iPHoto (or opening) - Apple dropped that service 03/31/2016

  You must use Photos or a third party - PrestoPhotos States that they can print and above all of the positive comments on the results in the opening forum - I don't personally used them

  And the error you are getting is not wrong - you have not one or several photos missing in your book - usually a background picture full page covered by another photo, so you don't notice it

  My projects have recently been updated from Iphoto for pictures, and I want to create a photobook for my previous projects but cannot find information on the topic or the size? Is it possible to find this information, or to make a copy of a previous project?

  To find a theme corresponding to the current book, duplicate.,.

  • Select your book project in the sidebar, ctrl-click or right-click, and then select 'double project '. If the sidebar is not displayed, enter the ⌥⌘S key combination.

  

  Now, you can select the duplicate and switch between themes by clicking on the button "Edit settings" to the left of the button 'Buy the book' in the toolbar.

  

  If you click on the button "Change theme", you will see the list of themes available with selected current theme.  The themes in the Photos are very different from previous themes in iPhoto.  Photos picked the most if, theme of liar to the iPhoto topic, when your book has been migrated.  You'll have to try them to see what they look like.

  Apple is no longer offer these services from iPhoto or Aperture, and have not changed since March 31.

  You need only generate a pdf and find a 3rd party printing service.
