Lightroom 6 crashes Win 7 when exporting

I'm trying to export 200 photos.  Lightroom completely blocks my system after export about 40 images.

Thanks for the tips.

After being on Adobe support all day without success, I tested the overheating theory by downloading and running a stress test.  After running the CPU at 100% for a few minutes it will turn off - exactly what happened.  Do not know how to bypass overheating - export just a few pictures at a time?  Put the computer in the fridge before exporting it?

  • Lightroom 6.2.1 stops when exporting video slide show

Since the upgrade to 6.1 to 6.2.1 I can't export a slideshow as a video.  It starts the process, the progress bar indicates he may go 10 or 15%, then Lightroom stops and there is no file in my output folder.  I'm on Windows 10.  It worked fine before the upgrade to 6.2.1.  I tried to reset all my preferences and that did not help.  I tried a selection of slides, like maybe 20, much smaller and it still does not work.  I tried with no music or with music.   What can I do?  Is - this another known bug in 6.2.x?

Workaround, at least on one of my computers.  In my view, there is a lack of interest in my problem since nobody answered to my previous posts, but maybe I can help someone with my solution.

I asked a few friends to photo if they had the problem and none did.  But I also noticed that all my computers using Intel's HD video system on the motherboard.  None of my friends have been.  I downloaded the latest drivers from Intel and which did not fix the problem.  On my desk, at least I had the option to add a dedicated video card.  So I bought a map of the Radeon chipset, installed and then tried.  I got a different error.

He said "Defunct sequencer" when I tried to go to the slideshow module.  I found the fix for this:

    https://helpx.Adobe.com/Lightroom/KB/error--sequencer-defunct--when-switching-to-Slideshow - module.html

so, if you have this problem, try to get the latest update for your video driver, or if you have the Intel HD video, buy a dedicated video card.  I hope Adobe will solve this problem with 6.4 and I will be able to use my laptop again to export video.  I supported it until 6.1.1 so it does not work.

I just had a thought.  I will try this fix on the laptop to see if that does anything.  Can't hurt.

Thanks John. The back of the trace is very useful.

In this case, Lightroom attempts to retrieve the path of the file system to the "My pictures" folder that is associated with your account on your computer local Windows and somehow he failed and could not retrieve the path.

  • When exporting photos, lightroom saves several versions of the image on my destination folder

    Hello

I've been using lightroom for editing my pictures for about a year now.  First, I noticed the problem a few months ago, but did not bother to seek a solution so far.  Whenever I finish photo editing, I export it to my destination folder.  My problem is that when I go in the destination folder, I see several versions of the photo, even if I only export (save) once when I am fully satisfied with the modified final image.  For example, I'll see img_2222, img_2222-2, img_2222-3 and so on, sometimes up to 10 versions.  I also noticed that the images are a little different with the final image is the image with the largest number suffix (for example, img_2222-10).  I hope I am making sense here...

As you can imagine, it's frustrating, because I end up spending an absurd amount of time to delete the versions that I don't need.  Is there any solution for this?  I searched all the settings and don't see even an option where I can record all the steps of my editing process images...

    Help!

    Hi cindymaya,

Could you please share the version of Lightroom that you use?

Could you please share the Lightroom export settings by using a screenshot?

When you export an image, Lightroom displays the top progress bar left referring to the number of images that are exported.

This progress bar says exporting a photo when exporting?

suggest you try to export to a new empty folder, and then check if it exports several versions.

    Kind regards

    Claes

I tried several installs clean with Lightroom CC and you have tried everything as the date of signing in and out of the clouds creative to change the format of numbers under regional settings in Control Panel.

Built a new computer with an Nvidia video card and cc works very well... I don't think that adobe likes to ATI Radeon graphics cards.

PS: If you are having problems with LR and you have an ATI Radeon video card... Go out and get a new card from Nvidia.

    Thanks for trying to help.

  • Media Encoder crashes when exporting from Premiere Pro

Media Encoder crashes when exporting from Premiere Pro. I am the queue several files to export and Media Encoder will crash. The computer system has 32 GB of RAM and videos of export fine in first, but which requires export each individually. Each video file turned down and some can be quite long (more than 3-5 hours). Nothing else is running on the computer that take over memory.

No idea why Media Encoder will crash?

Try turning off the GPU acceleration.

In the export dialog box, go to the metadata section and make sure that you have disabled "remove location information.

  • First Pro CC crashes when exporting h.264

I have shot some footage in AVCHD using a panasonic hmc80, edited two sequences in the same project, a short about 8 minutes, which I exported to the fine H.264 format and a second in 36 minutes that crashes when exporting h.264, exporting to approximately 8 to 10 Mbit / s.  I have tried mpeg2 and exported correctly.  I updated from the first and windows and checked drivers such as Nvidia, all of this to date.  I use a matrox mxo2 as an e/s has no MAXIMUM.  Same Setup worked well with first cs6 for about six months without any problem. It is a windows system 8 I7 with 4 disks in raid zero for media and a separate player previews and export.  I also tried the FLV and it also crashed.

The error message Windows "Adobe Premiere Pro CC has stopped working" collects more information about the problem.  I press cancel on the error of the box and first stop.  In fact the same thing happened once while I was sitting right on the timeline, take a break, he did the same thing and stopped, I was not made or export or do anything.  I have closed all the programs, including my anti virus software to make sure that wasn't the problem, but kept stopping.  I used to do some audio adjustments on a few clips I've done in the past with CS6 hearing...

I tried to open the project in CS6 but received a message that the project is damaged and cannot be opened. However, the project opens and plays fine CC where I created it originally. I have inspected the timeline and made the small part of locations that it stops the function of percentage completed without problem.  He stopped at 20 percent, 55 percent and 60 to 70 percent several times.Screen shot.jpg

Finally found the problem.  Hope this helps other casual users like me.  Originally when I started editing I dissociated video audio to audio specific modifications. It's a game of the game session only and talking heads were not in on it.  Once I finished editing I've linked audio video back together.  After I inspected carefully the timeline by zooming in to check every edit I was out of sync on one of my edits and he had a red - 4 video and a + 4 more on audio right on the clips.  After having to separate the tracks again that the red numbers went away and of course had an export successful h.264 after at least a dozen crashes.     What is funny about this is I had an export successful with mpeg2 after continuous h.264 and flv hangs until this fix.

  • Lightroom CC crashes when you use the second monitor

I use Lightroom CC on a core 6 2010 Mac Pro with 24 GB of RAM and the application running on an SSD with OS10.9.5.

Until the other day, I've been using Lightroom 5.7.

I have two NEC 24 "monitors connected to my computer.

I paid about $1,000 for each, and I was happy with their color rendering and performance.

In the last two weeks, I had repeatedly when Lightroom stops working.

Usually after using edit in Photoshop command, or creating a web gallery, once the order has been issued, LR will go to one screen and frozen at this time, most of the controls does not work. Then I have to select exit from the menu and reopen the application. Needless to say it's a lousy way to work.

Tonight, I discovered that if I run Lightroom on a monitor, the gel that happens after having a web gallery, or help edit in Photoshop, does not happen. However, if I start with just one monitor, use edit in Photoshop, then click to use my second monitor, then frost.

Having 2 monitors is very useful, so having to limit myself to 1 monitor is pretty disappointing, not to mention a waste of investment.

I've been using Lightroom 5 long on this system without these problems.

I installed Lightroom CC as a way to solve my problem.

But there is the same problem with it.

I thought about updating the operating system to 10.11, but I expect to do.

I've read of people having problems with OS 10.11 (El Capitan), and I need to upgrade backup software, if I switch to 10.11.

It seems to me that there may be some type of bug or problem with Lightroom and the Mac OS when it comes to use 2 monitors.

Everyone knows this freeze or lock up Lightroom?

Has anyone else had him freezes related to the use of two monitors?

    Can anyone suggest a solution?

A Mac savvy friend suggested that I create a new user account to see if the problem of gel with the second monitor would also with a new user account.

I created a new user account, and Lightroom works fine.

Then, I had to migrate all the settings for the various programs to the new user.

I also decided to improve the operating system of 10.9 Mavericks at El Captian, 10.11.

I also changed 5.7 Lightroom at Lightroom CC 2015.

All these computing has taken a lot of time, but now everything works fine.

  • Loss of saturation when exporting?

So I started using Lightroom as well as Photoshop to edit my pictures, I start in Lightroom, then open it in Photoshop, after that I'm done so I can remove unwanted things and add effects of sunlight etc. Before using Lightroom photos exported very well, but now I noticed that when exporting in Photoshop when I'm completely done my photos lose saturation?

This is what it looks like:

Can someone tell me why this is happening and how I can fix this please?

    Thank you

    Matt.

Thanks, I'll try it. I came up with a simpler solution, once I'm done in Lightroom, I export instead of open the .tif file in Photoshop with Lr. Then when I'm done in Photoshop I export in PNG and it is great!

  • Can I set up a text watermark so that it inserts the metadata (e.g.Copyright) file when exporting?

I would like to be able to use a metadata field in a model of watermark. In this way, I don't have to continue to create a new version for each year of copyright and then use this watermark preset when exporting. Much like the Simple copyright law, but with the possibility of placement of control, police, etc.

    Thank you

    Joe Jackson

It is not possible in the Publisher of watermark in Lightroom. But you can do it by using a plugin like LR/Mogrifyfor Lightroom. It allows you to watermark text including tokens for many fields of metadata, including copyright law, so that the watermark to each image will be created from its own metadata.
