• Cannot open lightroom 6 on PC and laptop since last night. I have a stand-alone perpetual license.

  I've been using Lightroom for several years and finally I bought a perpetual license of standalone lightroom 5 with update free for LR6 on PC and mobile.

  Last night I was working in lightroom on PC when I realized that I had imported my new photos to the catalog 2015 instead of a new catalog of 2016 which I had used for a week. I chose open another catalogue (2016) in order to import new pictures in the catalog, bypassed the message about stopping the catalog I was using and the message back up before you finish then anything, lightroom does not open.

  I performed tests on the PC, but nothing wrong was found. This morning when I turned on by clicking on the lightroom ICON was just a spinning wheel (busy) for about 5 seconds, then nothing. He has refused to open.

  What browser do you use? I had some problems of my own with Tumblr, Google Chrome, and power draining eventually led me to dump Chrome when I realized it was hogging all my resources. I recommend also to configure tumblr to show you your dashboard in the pages of 10 to 15 positions rather than scroll without end - in this way, he does try to keep everything loaded at the same time.

  It works ok with only the power adapter is plugged in and the battery out of the laptop? The battery charge ok if the laptop is turned off? The laptop works for a long time reasonable with just the battery?  I've seen this kind of problem with a Toshiba machine that used a NEC/CATHERINE 0E128 Proadlizer high switching frequency DC/DC Converter output capacitor.  I doubt that your computer has this chip but the problem and the function are similar.  It is a device surface and can cause the laptop to have a problem with the battery and the power adapter plugged in at the same time.  Many times this you will also charge the battery when the computer is turned off, but not when it is turned on. Sometimes it will not allow your to run Notepad with only the attached power adapter and the battery removed. Just to think.

  2. put your computer in a clean boot:

  a. Click START, and then click on 'run '.
  b. Type "msconfig" (without the quotes) and press enter
  c. click on the "Startup" tab and uncheck all the entries displayed
  d. click on 'Apply' at the bottom right
  e. restart your computer

  3. restart your computer and see if the problems have disappeared

  FilterKeys or repeated Key Strokes and slow keys prevents me from holding the keys for playing games.  I tried to disable in the ease of access Center, but that does not change.  Any time I press a key, it records the run key for about two seconds, then stops.  It prevents to move in the game because I can't hold before, I either have to use my mouse to move or I have to use autoplay.  It caused a lot of problems to be able to play the game.

• Application 'Tweed' increasingly greater and slowing down

  I noticed the wire of time that my request of Tweed becomes slower and slower.  I just pulled up the application information, and it's an enormous size 17 024 Ko!  Apparently, this isn't clear all that there is storage when it is downloaded from Twitter.  I tried to delete the account and re-adjusting upward, but that did not bring the size down.  It seems I have to remove the entire application from my pre and reinstall it.

  If you go into the menu of the Tweed application or any other application, there is a link to the support site or contact more details the author. I suggest that notify you these guys there on the issue - this is probably a memory leak in the code which they will determine if you can get the info.
