Lightroom CC freezes when developing mode

I installed Windows 10 and my CC for Photoshop apps, Bridge, and Lightroom are up-to-date. But when I try to go to mode develop it draws from the program crashes.

Hello

Thanks for the update

With Lightroom closed

  • Access

C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Preferences

(Where AppData is a system folder / hidden so you may need to enter the name of the folder directly into your browser's address bar or activate hidden folders / system in the Internet Explorer view folder options.)

  • Open the file LightroomPreferences.agprefs
  • Locate the line use = True autobahn (press CTRL + F)
  • Take Autobahn use = False

After save the file

Restart Lightroom

  • Lightroom cc freezes in develop mode (10 edition of Windows)

Since the upgrade of Windows 10 on my laptop computer, Lightroom cc freezes continuously in the develop module.  He is not a consistent gel, because sometimes I can actually deal with a picture or two.  I know not all problems in library mode, nor that I have problems in library mode when you use the quick settings.  It's only when I click on develop in the menu or select a preset in the develop module.

Usually, the screen has some split for her or will go black, complete.  I can minimize the window, and when I mouse over the icon in the tray, I can see that there are some processes that LR is trying to apply ('shadow', 'diagonally').   I tried to let the system works through the issue, but it ends with "No answer" with the only option to end the process.  I can then reopen LR without any problems and continue the work.

I hear other forums LR LR Tech tested LR with 10 Windows without any problem.  However, I see also other users complain the same effect (freezing, hanging, etc.).  I have not yet installed Photoshop, I don't want to cause more errors.  I have screen snaps

  • 6.3 Lightroom (Mac) freezes when importing

    Hi all

Due the fact that Apple has stopped development of opening I had to do a switch after several years of feeling 100% comfortable with an opening. After some research, it became clear that most of the people would recommend Lightroom. So I bought a copy.

Import of my opening book is very well and included all my projects and notes (very important!). So far so good.

Now, I tried to import photos newly shot of my Nikon D7100. Tried with the cable. Tried with the SC card in my Macbook Air. Lightroom still freezes when importing or is back with the 'message' that none of the pictures could be read.

Returned to the opening. Connected to the camera. Quick import and 100% OK.

I can't believe that Adobe releases a new version with such a major problem... Very frustrating... want my money back!

Can anyone help? Is that a known issue - the fixes proposed in the forums don't work not (import options)? Will there be an update to Lightroom soon?

    Thank you!

    Config:

-Macbook Air 2012, 1, 7GHz Intel Core i5, 4 GB RAM, 480 GB SSD Jetdrive (45 GB free event with library, Aperture and Lightroom to 150 GB each)

    -Mac OS 10.11.2

    -Adobe Lightroom 6.3

Yes, please try to import images to another location.

Also, make sure that you have read and write access on the location where you import the images.

  • CC of Lightroom is stuck in develop mode

When I click on LR CC for the throw, all first library mode begins to come toward the top and then he passes to develop mode where it hangs up automatically and won't do anything else.  What is going on?

    Hi colrehogan,

You must disable GPU preferences in Lightroom.

First you must reset the Lightroom preferences.

    Steps to follow:

    Stop Lightroom.

    Navigate to the preferences file:

    Mac OS: /Users/ [user name]/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.Lightroom6.plist

    [Windows 7, 8: C:\Users\[user name] \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Preferences\Lightroom 6 Preferences.agprefs

Rename the file from Lightroom 6 Preferences.agprefs.old preferences

Now, when you launch the Lightroom it will open on the library Module.

Go to the editing Menu on the top of the page (Windows) Menu / click the Lightroom on top (Mac)

    Click on preferences

    Go to the performance tab

    Disable the GPU there settings.

    Restart the Lightroom

Let us know if this can help,

    Kind regards

  • 6.4 Lightroom is unresponsive and freezes when in the develop module.

6.4 Lightroom is unresponsive and freezes when in the develop module, then I get the message (no response).  I have tried both checking and unchecking the checkbox use Graphics Processor.  It does not seem to make a difference. Lr6.4 getting slower more I use the develop module, then it stops responding all together.

It could be a possibility that the old catalog might be corrupted.

  • Lightroom keeps freezing up on top of me in the develop Module

I'm working on a recent photo shoot. I downloaded my pictures as always. They're there, but when I go to work on them in the Module development overall the program freezes up, circle blue to sin, but nothing happens. I don't have the choice, but just stop it.

Everyone knows about similar problems? It's just me. I've recently upgraded to Windows 10, which would have something to do with it?
