Line of pixelated when you draw in photoshop cc 14

Hello

When I draw a circle I've tried on the CAP, it is not smooth and is as below. If someone could help me here, I would be very grateful.

I closed the program and restarted, but still have the same problem... Marc

Ahhh...  That gave me a thought.  They have the grid and snap-to-grid market.

  • funny things happening when you draw a line

    We're talking Ai CS5.

I have a work plan with a mixture between 2 wavy paths, the kind of thing that you hope that the customer will not ask new :-)

A path is in line with a horizontal guide at the top on the artboard and down by another.

I draw a line between the two guides and nowhere segment near the mixture and expect to get just a boring straight line. Instead I'm out a lengthened version of the plantings, starting at the top with the first path and passing all stages of mixing arriving downstairs with the second path.

Sorry, I have to describe it that way, but when I tried again once it no longer works, so I can't show you the result. Can someone explain what's happened here?

    TIA

    Steven

Looks like you were in the Mode of insulation of the Blend object - you could accidentally entered this mode without realizing it by double-clicking on the object of the mixture. Now when you draw a simple line, the mixture is getting redesigned because now he sees 3 trails blend instead of the 2 paths.

    I hope this helps.

  • Default number of columns when you draw a text box?

When you draw a new text box (with the T tool), it is possible to set a number of columns, for example 5 default columns?

Set the number of columns without anything selected. This is the default behavior (in this document). If you want to change it for all new documents, set the number of columns with no document open.

  • Maintaining sharp images when you import into Photoshop?

    Hi all

I have a little problem, I hope that someone here could help me with that.

Working with complex vectors is much better in Illustrator than in Photoshop, but when I create my vectors in Illustrator and then pull them in Photoshop, they always end by being fuzzier than when I work in Photoshop alone.

Is there some kind of trick to work between the two to maintain pixel perfect happiness?

Sticker vector art in Illustrator and keep as much of it as possible net can be difficult depending on the project. Need a little prior planning before and during the design process to get the best results, especially if you're working on something that will have a limited amount of resolution as a web page interface. If your buttons, boxes, etc. that you design in Illustrator don't line up with the pixel grid in Photoshop the edges will be blurred and inprecise rather than razor.

It can help to make safe the pixelation effects, size of the document settings, etc. in match Illustrator upward with the size of the document in Photoshop. In Illustrator, the document or the other must be designed using a unit of measurement or something pixel-based that matches with him. Sharp hard objects (as a rule lines, rectangle, etc.) must be of size and aligned with the pixel grid to avoid soft edges when pasted in Photoshop.

Here is an another 'witch hunt': Photoshop don't paste an Illustrator illustration into a PSD document precisely. In some versions often bad Photoshop work when it is pasted. It doesn't matter if you paste Illustrator artwork by pixels or paths. Zoom in tight and the work will be generally off between 1/4 and 1/2 pixel - enough to really screw up a complex multi-page interface web. This parasite is not a big deal, as long as the illustration Illustrator and Photoshop document are properly sized. I just use the function of transformation of Photoshop to resize the Illustrator illustration so it lines up accurately with the Photoshop document. I use the side handles to initiate work on the edges of the Photoshop document and then click on the check box. Zoom in tight to check the results. If the art of the Illustrator has been designed with the pixel grid in mind, it must be aligned perfectly once the transformation is applied to the pasted work.

  • Only able to do a line of text when you create a paragraph?

Cannot do a single line of text. The return/enter key on transport does not create a new line when you build a paragraph? The cursor goes to the beginning or the Middle depending on the configuration of the justification.

There are two things going on here. First of all, your attack, the distance between the lines, should be set to Auto or adjusted to the desired size. Second, if you click and drag a text box before you type AE ends automatically the text to fill the area as it does in Photoshop.

I start by clicking on the small icon at the top right of the palette character and then select Reset the character at the bottom of the list.

  • How can the PSD CC 2015, I remove the ToolTip of information when you draw a shape layer?

    HI -.

I don't know what his name but on win 10 / Photoshop CC 2015, whenever I have to draw a shape layer, I get a little window indicating the angle/length/width/etc, I draw.  While I don't know that it is a great tip for some people - for me it's annoying and it covers what I'm trying to see that I draw.

On 10 of win / Photoshop CS5 - I do not have this information box.

I looked in preferences under Interface and sliders, but couldn't find out how to turn this "feature".  (Probably because I don't know what his name.)

How do I turn it off?  How can I disable contact information indicator bit appears so when I draw a shape layer?

Thanks in advance for your comments-

    Two things:

    -all your images

-your catalog (the database and its associated files like caches)

The catalog is physically located in its own folder; You can find its location in the menu help/information system.

  • Why lines appear low when you work with layers?

I paint using a Cintiq and the use of layers.  When the image is then flattened, the lines become much darker.  I don't want the quality of the line to look different in the case of layers when flattened.  When I work in the Sketchbook Pro, it's exactly the same in layers because when he is flattened or saved in jpeg format, so why Photoshop behave this way?  Is there a way to fix this in Photoshop?  I hope so, because it is a deal breaker real for using Photoshop to draw.

Here is an attached example to show the difference.  Thank you.

  • Odd lines/cross appears when you use the vonster vector models

I'm still learning how to use Illustrator. I was using some patterns vector vonster which is included in a default library of Illustrator, but strange two lines covering the picture as a cross appears, and I can't understand how to remove them. I've been Googling like crazy. In addition, a bonus question, when I move the image around, the model changes - is - it a way to place under the final title, so that I can then freely move and resize? Thank you.

The lines are artifacts of smoothing.

In Preferences > general disable anti-aliasing and the lines should disappear.

Usually in offset printing, the lines shouldn't matter. With other technologies like digital print something, they could be a problem. Also when exporting to pixel files.

For the problem of moving: also in the preferences > General check 'Modes of transformation '.

  • When you draw paths, what percentage of level best to see the image?

    Hello

When drawing paths in the PS, which is the best level increase percentage to display the image? I find that 200 to 400% is sometimes useful, but sometimes 300% is too big and the edges of my selection become indistinguishable from the background. What are the techniques of zoom percentage that others use all pulling the railways?

    Thank you.

    Patrick

Patrick, the answer is that it all depends on what you're trying to isolate, how you plan to use and how fast you need to do. I will describe a couple of scenarios.

If you are knocking out 25 pictures of products, you need to go fast. Some studios will order their retouchers remain with zoom at 50% only. For general color/brightness, no drama, describing changes a form on this scale will be fine. The resulting mask will not be perfect, but it will go faster than the zoom to 100% because you will be with less detail.

If you need a little more precision, zoom and more. So the question is: where to place the path on the edge of the element you want to isolate.

If you plan to break the clip from the bottom, then place the path inside the border of the element. As long as you're fairly accurate, the fact that you can cut the edge pixels will be not easy for the Viewer to the end. It's better, because you can trim off the coast, say, clothing fabric in excess and idealize shape more. When hit against a new background, the shape will be better and no one will notice that you have trimmed it anyway.

If you plan to keep this element in their existing background environment, you have to be more specific. As you say, you could perform a current zoom 100%. I'll generally not much past plu 150% because we always need to take a view of the overall shape, the forest from the trees so to speak. In this case, you'll want to put the path in the pixel areas liminal along the edge - right between where you see the transition of the element edge pixels and the background. If you make dramatic changes hue/lightness, you will need to massage the mask edge later to reduce the edges that appear.

And don't forget to put a small feather on the resulting mask is always the key.

Hope that helps, check out my blog if you are interested to learn more about the techniques of cutting, I'll post some in the future.

  • Line size changes when you use the rotation?

Hello: Level: Beginner OS: Windows 7 64-bit

So, I was using the line tool and then bringing together two lines and then using the object > transform > rotation

The lines that I draw are 0px wide and 22px high but when I turn them around the Circle line sizes change...?

Say the two lines are grouped and the first series is 276px on that the next series becomes say 276.346 and then 275.582 and 198.682 and so...

I went in the palette to turn to see if there is anything I should check, but it doesn't seem as if I'm missing something to the best of my (limited) knowledge.

I also tried the manual and looked for something like: "why size line would change on rotation" and I looked under transform and rotate, but I did not have a chance.

As always... Thank you very much for your time

What you read is the width and the height of the area of the path includes.

Think of the hand of a clock. When it is at 12 it's thin and vertical. When there is 1, it takes much more space horizontally than to 12.

You read the area covered by the path, not the dimensions of actual path.

Basically, the numbers you read represent the pink boxes in this screenshot:

The area required to draw the shape, not the dimensions of the form itself.

  • Lag when you draw a square by using the property plotimages.back on XY graph

    Hello

I'm developing a simple program where you enter 2 vertical sliders on a XY chart by selecting coordinates X and then it should highlight in yellow the area between the two mentioned sliders.

The issue I'm having, is that even if the program is inspired by the square on the graph, there is a shift, which I can't get rid. I checked the input coordinates to draw the square and they seem correct, however, the gap is still there...

Please find attached my program, thank you very much for your help!

Well, I found the reason. To eliminate the offset, you must get the graph XY plot area limits and subtract 'top' and 'left' your coordinate of the cursor values
