Links within the pdf (preview pdf in Firefox)

Hello

I have a problem.

In firefox v.41, when I saw a pdf file, if the pdf file has a links on the inside, there is no problem, but since I updated Firefox to v.42, the links do not work. In fact, when I click in the link, it does nothing.

The problem is, I run a web site with certain standards in Spain and it is a significant problem for our users.

The document is http://www.codigotecnico.org/images/stories/pdf/seguridadIncendio/DccSI.pdf (Page.32)

Thanks in advance.

Yes, I disassembled the character with the Inspector, and it works.

I suppose it is a Microsoft Word problem.

I'll try to recreate the document.

Thank you.

  • I have problems with anchors named in my htm file. I clearly identify them as being in the document (ie., internal links within the file).  When I preview the file in a browser, the links point to my hard drive, which is totally false. What do I need

I have problems with anchors named in my htm file. I clearly identify them as being in the document (ie., internal links within the file).  When I preview the file in a browser, the links point to my hard drive, which is totally false. What should I do to change it?  I use DreamWeaver 2004 on a PC.

You will need to correct the links that begin with "file".

Now that your site has been defined, you just delete the bad links and DW left write the good ones for you.

Click on the yellow folder on the property inspector, and then select the target page.

If your site is small, you can edit the links manually (remove the part in red)

    content.htm file:///C:/desktop/localRootFolder/subfolder/subfolder/images/

It would be useful that post you your code on the page so that we can see if you use the old technique or new for these links.

  • Cross-references in InDesign does not convert the links in the PDF

    Hello

I can't work on any model that... I have a number (75, to be precise) of references in a single InDesign file to other locations within the same file. In InDesign, all work well - I can go from destination to source and vice versa.

When I export to PDF, about 20% of them (I did not, I'm afraid) jump me to a particular page... page 58 of the 61-page document. They should not. There two correct links to this destination, the rest should go to various other pages. All cross references are using heading styles. I have not used all the bookmarks (if I remember correctly - work has been done some time ago, but has only raised the issue).

In some cases, there are destinations in the PDF files to the appropriate pages, so I'm fixing this way links. They cannot be the original destinations, because I have more than one destination per page in some cases. In other cases, there is no destination for the page required... they have not been exported, so I'll have to create destinations in the PDF file as well. I noticed that a lot of destinations end with "Anchor xx" (where xx is a number), others are a 5 digit number what is the difference?

It has been a pain fix these, but will be even worse when the document is updated in a few months... I don't want to have to manually re-create each hyperlink each time. I also wanted to use InDesign for another project, but the files would be updated on a regular basis in this case and if there is a known bug, it would not be an acceptable load.

Any suggestions? Oh - the graphics are almost all related, and most are anchored frames... don't know if this has an impact, but I noticed when picking topics cross reference that some were (chart) after the title of the topic.

    Thanks in advance,

    Alison

  • I am trying to add 3 PDFs in the minutes of the meeting so that members can click on the link and the PDF will open... try to avoid sending multiple attachments

I'm typing minutes and want to join 3 PDFs as an attachment in the document.  I want the recipients to be able to click on the document and it will be open.

You didn't say what version of Pages so let's guess Pages 5.x.

    Is not possible.

In Pages ' 09, you can have links to external PDF files.

  • Links in the PDF are not open in Adobe Reader

I created a PDF file from Adobe Acrobat that has links that open external web pages that works perfectly in Adobe Acrobat, but when the PDF file is opened in Adobe Reader, nothing happens when you click on links on. The cursor changes and the URL is displayed when hovering above, but when clicked on nothing happens. Now I tried the CTRL key and change various parameters "Trust Manager" in Preferences, but nothing seems to work. Do I need to save the PDF in a different format to allow links to be opened in Adobe Reader?

Using Adobe Reader Version: 11.0.3 and Adobe Acrobat Version 11.0.10

    Hi Fallynn,

    Try this:

    Open drive

Go in Edition > Preferences > Security (enhanced)

Uncheck the Enable Protected Mode option

    Click OK and restart.

    Now, check the PDF file.

    Thank you

  • Link to the PDF problem

    Hi all

I'm trying to link to a PDF from my site. When I click on the link, it opens the folder I have the pdf file in and wonder of "enter the name of the file to be saved in. He has "Save as file type" and the area name. He thinks I want to save a file instead of open a. It maintains also come back in the same folder, even if I have a link with something stored on my desk. I save in jpeg format in order to make a link to it.

I hope that I have explained quite well.  Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello

When you bind the Project Muse PDF file, you must use the menu links in the control panel to select the link to file option. In the import dialog box that appears, browse to select the file and click open to select.

When you browse to select a file using the link to the file function, the file becomes one of assets site downloaded when the site is published or included in the site files when the site is exported. It is advisable to copy the files you want to link from the site in the folder of the local site, as well as all the other image used in your site files.

Please note that, depending on the browser you use and the preferences of the browser, you will see different behaviors. Some browsers will display the PDF in the browser window, while others simply download the PDF file to your desktop, where you can open it using Acrobat Professional or Acrobat Reader

For more details on how it works and how you can link files, please see: Adobe Muse Help | Create hyperlinks

  • Maintain links in the PDF copy in an email?

    Hello

I would like to know if I can keep the links in my PDF when I use the snapshot tool to copy and paste this PDF in the body of an email. The PDF has a URL and two email addresses, and I want to be clickable in the body of the email, if possible.

Now when I use the Flash tool to paste the document into the body of the email, the links disappeared. Is there a way to do this?

    Thank you
    Melissa

Ok. I think I know what you want to do. You want to keep the layout of the document in the body of the email (and keep interactive links... etc).

The only way to do this is to create an HTML email. You'll want to read about it before you try, but the basics are, create you a web page, and then insert in an e-mail (the technique varies by browsers).

You can not insert a PDF file (or any other type of file besides) and hope that it appear in the body of the e-mail. You should be the personal preferences of users for beginners and more the file would essentially have to be open on the system either visible, which would be a security problem.

  • You see landing page views and presentations in the form of a link within the ADC?

I created the business conduct contained in E10 which includes a link to an Eloqua landing page containing a form Eloqua. The ADC is an Eloqua email. When I got the email with the CDA on the canvas of the campaign, it is not "related" to the landing page and the form as would do an e-mail containing a link normally. Is there a way to "bind" the ADC to the landing page and the shape on the canvas of the campaign, or Earn pageviews and remittances form since the show of CDA upward on the e-mail activity in Insight?

If you add the LP to the campaign from the mouth on the left side (and then click to extract the same form element), will be associated with the campaign for the statement of purposes even without the link of the email be rendered on the screen.

  • Cannot open the PDF with Firefox 11.0

Firefox automatically upgrades the version I use. Since he has recently been updated I can't open pdf files. Am facing a blank page. I went through some of the suggestions on these pages, and when I opened the tool window, there is a caveat:

Firefox PDF Plugin for Mac OS X is not compatible with Firefox 11!

Is there a way around it? Or it's time to say goodbye to Firefox and go on Safari?

I had the same problem. Go in Tools > Modules > Plug-Insand disable the plugin Adobe Acrobat. Once I did, my PDFs opened in preview.

  • How 2 search within a PDF document using the PDF reader internal Firefox

Could not find a way to search for text in a PDF document, when it is displayed by the PDF reader integrated into Firefox.

If there is a way, how do you?

If there isn't a way, it seems an obvious improvement.

Implementation of the "Find" (CTRL + F) feature usual should work within a PDF in Firefox.
