Clip plus 8 GB capacity as is 7.37 GB normal?

Is it normal to have only 7.37 GB total capacity on my new Clip + 8 GB version? My old 8 GB 2nd gen capacity Clip is slightly larger, a few hundred MB larger. Can someone delete this?

Kind of strange, some Devil firmware occupying over 300 MB? Anyway, because I mainly use flacs, this means that nearly an album less storage.

This is why there is a card slot... If you have more storage!

  • Sansa clip plus and itunes - how to transfer files

I'm really ignorant, but I would be very grateful for the help.   I did research on this topic here but do not understand the answers...

Basically, I use itunes on Windows XP.  I just boughts liked a Sansa clip.

I don't know even what kind of files I have in itunes - they are mostly ripped a CD. I guess they were mp3s but looking at recent postings here it looks like they may be something else (ACC file extensions?).   Anyway, I was fiddling around in itunes but have not been able to verify what are the types of files ('cos I'm ignoring it!)

Earlier today I just copied some of the songs in itunes, go to Windows Explorer and paste in the section music to the Sansa Clip file.   They played very well...

Then I went and deleted these files on the Sansa Clip Plus, because they were just an experiment.

Then I went back to itunes and copied the files over.   This time, when I went to paste the files in Sansa Clip Plus in Windows Explorer, I found the option to paste is grayed out.

I'm stuck and would be incredibly grateful for the help.   As you can from it of the mess that the above, any guidance I get has to be pretty basic.

the easiest way is just to look at the files in windows Explorer. go to documents, then music. the music folder to itunes folder. That's where itunes stores all the files. you need to configure the computer to display file extensions for known file types. Find your MP3 files and copy them from windows Explorer, then glue them to the clamp.

  • Clip Plus / comparison of the triggers?

I have a simple question: If you could get a Clip and a rocket for the same price for the same power, please select the "rocket"?  I'm leaning towards the "rocket", but I want to make sure it has the same sound quality, I've read that the Clip Plus offers.  There is of course an underlying question here: is the rocket technology that advanced the Clip Plus?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

I can see why many people have both original Clip or Clip + and a rocket. The Clip is almost half the size of the "rocket" and will most likely be his pretty identical. The main difference is the size of the screen. Even if you do not want to view the videos or pictures, the "rocket" displays the album art of the song being played where the Clip is not. For some, this is absolutely necessary in an mp3 player. Others couldn't care less.

The Clips are well suited for more portability with their small size, but you have to give up the pleasure of seeing what you're too tuned. Don't forget the "rocket" isn't great either. It is small enough, because he can do.

  • Button Sansa Clip Plus Volume increases no volume decreases only

    Hello

I hat managed to install the new firmware hoping that solve this problem. Unfortunately no luck, reset to factory settings only allows me to decrease the volume, but not increase it. If I decide to turn down the volume I can't unless I have resett to factory settings find volume...

In short, I think that the volume button is broken because when I push it decreases but does not increase, never... My camera is only 6 months old and it is not good. :/

    Any help?

Contact SanDisk directly on a replacement under warranty. There has been a few people who have had problems with the volume switch.

  • remove the RockBox Bootloader Sansa Clip Plus

    HOW DO?

I did what the manual on their site said.

Download frimware (is this clppa.bin?) original file

    Put it on the player

Sansa updater does nothing.  says "no editable Sansa product is recognized."

Rockbox utility cannot remove it. what I am doing wrong?

You are actually in the Sandisk firmware while you do this? If the player does not find the Sansa updater, that you're always in rockbox. You must run the firmware from sandisk.

  • Clip + no reading FLAC 96 kHz/24 bit?

I couldn't find any where any technical...

I have some files of professionals/audiofile music format FLAC 24 bit 96 kHz.

He is professional MFSL vinyl LPs of recordings and original recording of my synth, Korg Oasys PCI.

    None has no DRM.

When I try to play them on the Sansa Clip Plus they get jumped. No error message. It jumps right through them.

I know that the files are OK. They do not play through my media streamer when I connect the Clip + via USB to my NAS.

Is that what I can do to play on the Clip + as installing Rockbox, using .wav files, or is a material limitation

On this aspect, why is there no specification anywhere (bitrate, resolution, etc.

Seriously, there should be some tech specs in the manual...

I guess I'll have to recode these for lower quality - but WHICH one is better than the Clip + is supported in terms of flow rate and sampling frequency?

The DAC on the Clip + is only 16 bits, so there is no advantage to the use of 24-bit. Rockbox will decode any file FLAC, but they will be converted to 44.1 k/16 for playback. The sandisk firmware does decode flac 24 bit at all. BTW, you probably already know, LPs are less 16 bit, so there is no loss of quality to convert to 16-bit.

  • Low volume compared to my original Video Clip

I just got my new 8 GB Clip more this week after using my original 2 GB Clip for 2 years and love it. Unfortunately, I noticed that the volume of the Clip Plus is a little lower than my video. I have done all the stuff with the control panel and the region (tried in North America and rest of the world, put the volume on 'High' setting) but is still not as strong as my old Clip. And forget the 'Normal' setting, it's just laughable how low that is. But if anyone has noticed this difference in volume between the old Clip and the Clip Plus? Is there a way to make it as strong as the old Clip most Clip? Thank you.

IIRC the volume reduction was changed in an update firmware for the Clip V1. If I play my V1 Clip with firmware.18 50% in volume, it is about equal to my V1 Clip with firmware.35 to 75% of the volume. The volume of 100% full power even sounds good. I think that the scale has been changed for lower volume at least for sensitive IEMs who played too strong with smaller settings. I also believe that the balance of volume Clip + is equal or very close to the version of the software to scale in the Clip V1 and V2.

  • Full screen does not work when watching video clips of type 'tube '.

When I look at a tube clip video (You Tube, etc.), the function full screen gives me just a white screen but I can hear the clip still running. When I reduce the screen to normal size, all right. This problem started recently. During the last many years I have never had a problem with mode full-screen, just recently.

I think it's a matter of adjustment, but I don't know where to start. The only things that have changed recently are MSN automatic updates normal and I did an update on my video card, but I don't think that I changed settings. My NVIDIA Media Center has a new look for her, but I don't know if this is part of the issue or not.

It was suggested by someone to update my Adobe Reader information, but that did not help or anything harm.

I can provide more details on my monitor or video card if anyone thinks that this could be part of my problem.

Then, thanks to anyone who can provide a solution or suggestion on how to get my computer to display full-screen video clips again.

Looks like the update of the video driver could be the problem.

Might be interesting to try to uninstall it, or possibly make a system
restoration of a while before you install.

  • Clip + Double downloads

Big problems; Maybe someone can help.

When I download, even if everything looks OK on my screen of Rhapsody, once that I disconnect my Sansa Clip +, each song actually was written twice.  In addition, all previous songs on my music video were crushed and replaced by the new songs (although again, there is no evidence of this on before Rhapsody to disconnect).

Clip is a new unit of Christmas.  Everything seemed normal until the battery ran down the first time.  After reconnecting to a USB for charging, my Clip + locked up and I had to reset by pressing power for 15 seconds (as described in the manual).  Since then, everything is out of whack.

    Suggestions?

Is it possible that you have a SD card in the Clip +, and you have transferred the same titles he?  If you have two copies of a song, the version of the internal memory will be list, then the version of the card.

If there is a card installed, try removing and allowing the database to refresh on the Clip +.  Looking for names duplicated on the device.  In view of songs, tracks on the SD card will have a small icon of the card beside them.

If you connect in MSC mode, then you can try to delete the file mtable.sys of the Clip + (only visible when it is connected in MSC mode).  This is the datsbase file.  When the Clip is offline, the file will be built from scratch by the Sansa.

Don't forget to reset the device in MTP mode again to Rhapsody.

If you have duplicates, you can try formattting the Clip +.  Use the command to the device for the built-in Format, settings > system settings > Format > Yes.  This erases all the materials for the device.  So try retransferring your tracks from Rhapsody.

  • Line opacity on Clip Glitch?

Hi, I'm trying to figure if I have a small problem or if I'm just something stupid. The opacity on my video clips line moves to the middle of the clip and allow me to move or add keyframes. Normally it is at the top and I can add keyframes in the timeline. I can always adjust the opacity using effects. I deleted and added clips to the timeline and they work fine, but when I save the exit and reopen the project, the line moves on the back, in the middle of the clips. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong or to meet this problem.

Are you sure have the opacity line which shows and not the speed?

  • Rotate the clip in the media browser

    Hi guys!

I recently shot a spec and some of the images was upside down because of a steadycam / activate they had. I was wondering can I turn my clip vertically into my media browser so I can preview normally? I know not how to do this in the timeline by the effects, but I want to be able to do in the media browser... any suggestions?Screen Shot 2013-11-26 at 5.15.42 PM.png

Sorry there is no way to do it.

There may be solutions to turn until view you them in the media browser. I'm not aware of any good.

  • the clip of fps 720 p 120 of GoPro Hero3 black not identified by Premiere Pro CS6

Hello. My Hero3 clip black Gopro is not recognized as a 120fps clip. I've read people saying that it is normal because first pro does not recognize them for anyone... But that of the case, watch this clip:

    http://youtu.be/YeHCUNH4KcM

In all about 30 second, it shows how she recognizes that the file is actually 120fps, in this same screen, I the file is 59, 94fps and not 120 frames per second it is really.

    What I am doing wrong?

    Thank you.

If anyone is still interested in it.

Which solved the problem for me, is to download the editing studio 2.0 software gopro (http://gopro.com/software-app/gopro-studio)

then import export your file with the option for further editing or archiving, import this file into the first, or after-effects

and it will acknowledge with 120fps!

not an expert video codec, new CineForm avi file, don't know if there is any loss of quality
