Listen to music from portable to portable stereo

I suspect that the solution I am looking for is not a Microsoft product, but the solution may have to delve into the bowels of the OS, so I hope it's always in the right place.

I want to play music over WiFi and have a * very * small, lightweight receiver that plugs simply into the audio in of a very simple portable stereo.  I don't know if there are solutions the two plug directly as well as requiring a audio cable.  I would look at the two types of solutions.  I imagine that the receiver could resemble another network to the laptop device.

On the side of the laptop, I don't want to tear anything, just play of any application (browser, anything else) who sends the music to the speakers.  Perhaps a solution provides an application that looks like a speaker to the BONE, but actually digitizes the sound to send via WiFi.  Yes, I know it's somewhat backword to intercept the signal after D/A conversion, then repeat for the transmission.  It means one less thing to worry about, to know how to get the audio stream.  I don't have to worry about devote myself (for example) iTunes or VLC - I can just play YouTube (for example).

After doing a search on the web this afternoon, it doesn't look like one such solution exists, but I hope someone can prove me wrong before compromise and look for solutions that are not configured as described above.

Note on the portable stereo, I want to avoid more advanced ways to connect the receiver to stereo for example iPod port, whose much Stros have these days.  I really messed up the battery in an iPod Touch using these ports.

short answer - I'm not aware of what you can connect to a boombox via
the typical sound in the connector. There are devices that can operate wireless using
RCA Records as http://www.sonos.com/shop/products/connect but most won't let you
play from streaming sites. the exception is Sonos that supports a bunch of
services like Pandora streaming, etc.

all these devices are quite expensive.

you would be better to use something else than the boombox wireless
Audio (speakers, bluetooth, etc if you want something portable - Jambox or Big)
JamBox).

  • Listen to music from iPhone for cinema house Blu-ray (BDV-N790W

Is there a way to stream music from an iphone (without being connected to the docking station) for the blu - ray player? I like to play music in itunes on my iphone via the wireless from my phone home theater system. I downloaded the app, but I do not see a feature that will have access to the music on the iphone.

Thank you for your post and welcome to the forums.

If you have downloaded media: connect, then the iPod should see the report devices(BDV-N790W) that are on the network since the iPod is the DLNA server. Make sure that the iPod and BDV-N790W are connected to the home network. Check to see if the DLNA server is shown in the Player configuration options by going to SETTINGS > NETWORK SETTINGS > SERVER CONNECTION SETTINGS. Also, check that the converter is able to show as available on servers DLNA by going to SETTINGS > NETWORK SETTINGS > RENDERING and CONTROL of ACCESS RENDERER OPTIONS. If you can not always connect to the player, then check the firewall of the router settings. If you don't know how to configure the firewall on the router, then contact the manufacturer of the router for further assistance.

  • I want to listen to music from Mac, but do not want to sync with iPod

    Well met!

I'm syncing music automatically. I understand, that if I don't want to synchronize a special playlist for iPod - I need to uncheck all the playlist manually Flickr photos.
But if I uncheck - I can not hear through all the playlist normally from my Mac - securities become gray and after the end of my selected track playlist do not play the next track.

    How to solve this problem?

    Tiserly,

Trying to manage with checkmarks will be frustrating.  Instead, use the synchronization feature of the 'playlists selected, artists, albums and genres."

The choice displayed when iPod is connected.  Check them as you like and then let the automatic synchronization.  It will remember your choice for future synchronizations, and you can change them at any time.

  • Music on AppleTV resumes when you listen to AirPlay from PC

While listening to music from my PC to my new AppleTV airplay (4), the Apple TV music app takes over, stop the music I want to hear.  Its very annoying and I can't stop.

Apple TV restarting will help you for a little while - the problem will disappear for a few days (I think that until the next time that you use the music). When this happens, just the UN - and re - choose your Apple TV from airplay speakers (if you use "multiple speakers" uncheck / reclick, if you use the "single" speaker switch to another option and back then the music) and in general it will not happen while replay session.

You must report this to the Apple - http://www.apple.com/feedback/appletv.html

I was not able to find a permanent solution, actually this bug got a little bit worse since the last tvOS updated. When it started to happen, I thought it was triggered by using the voice command Siri. Everything worked perfectly up until you said Siri to play the radio or music, after making this antenna would stop and the last thing you said Siri play would begin again - but now I think that happens if you've used the app music at all.

  • Can I use the stop watch and listen to music offline

Hi all! I am wanting to buy the bike 360 to use it for the race. The feature that interests me the most is the music offline reading, where you transfer songs from your phone to your smartwatch so that you can listen to your music without having to carry around your phone. This feature is ideal for runners, but I would like to know if I can listen to music and my short with a stopwatch, all at the same time time. Is it possible to do such a thing?

    Thank you!

I just had time to check this. I could listen to music from my watch to my bluetooth speaker, then put the timer as well. I was also able to switch back without the reset timer or stop. I could also stop the clock and continue where I stopped it.
