Lithium2-UL8E compatibility with a Media Center M7277C

I need to replace a motherboard of Lithium-UL8E on a M7277C.  The CPU 4 pin power connector burned/melted after years of relatively stable use.  I know it's silly to put the money into a motherboard on a system of this age, but no one knows if a Lithium-UL8E may be replaced by a Lithium2-UL8E on a M7277C.  Both cards use a Northbridge Intel 945 chipset, but the Lithium2-UL8E also has a Southbridge Intel i/o Controller and takes care of the processors.  Otherwise, they seem to be almost identical.  Any thoughts?  Thank you.

Hello huskertech,

Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience! To help you get the most out of the Forums of HP, I would like to draw your attention to the Guide of the Forums HP first time here? Learn how to publish and more.

I've been reviewing specifications for two motherboards, and you are right that there are not many differences. The only thing that I think you need to worry, it's readers may not be the same so make sure you have a copy of the necessary drivers for any operating system that you are running for the motherboard still very convenient.

I don't see how it would be a problem with you using the motherboard Lithium2.

  • Problems with Windows Media Center cumulative update 2

    Hello

I tried to set up my xbox360 to work with windows media center.  Whenever I try to install the Update Rollup 2, he created a restore point and as soon as he arrives to install the fix, says installation failed and my computer must be restarted or something to that effect.  I did some research and found the threads on the .NET framework 1.1 Hotfix and checked for her and she does not appear in my programs add/delete, menu, so I don't think that may be worth.    It drives me crazy, any help would be appreciated seriously.

Yes - you will need to reinstall Windows to fix.  And, Yes, you will need to backup your data first and reinstall all your programs later.

I'll post instructions later tonight (they are on a machine at home).  In the meantime, now is a good time to start copying all your data to elsewhere.

    Kind regards
    Chris.

  • Error: "Tuner not found" with Windows Media Center

Original title: someone at - there a solution to this problem of Tuner not found with Windows Media Center? I tried for several years to find an answer to this embarrassing problem without success.

I did just about everything, including a restoration of the complete system without success. It would be nice to be able to use my Windows Media Center to watch live TV and record programs I would like to see later.

There is a great thread to

Unfortunately, it looks like the only solution people have found is to replace the
    Tuner with another brand.

I don't know if it's the hardware failure or something else, but looking at this
wire, if it was ME, I cut my losses and replace the tuner.

  • Burning DVDs with Windows Media Center

Why does take so long to burn a dvd of a movie that I recorded with Windows Media Center Vista?

Is there another way to upload videos/movies recorded with Windows Media Center on a dvd?

I have Windows Vista Ultimate 64.

What determines how long it will take to burn the DVD?

The following factors play a role in how long it will take to burn a DVD:

    • Available system resources on your computer. The speed of your computer processor, the amount of available disk space and amount of RAM play a role in determining how long it will take to encode the video and burn it to a DVD.

    • The speed of your DVD burner, as well as the type of recordable DVD media you are using. A faster DVD burner with faster recordable DVDs results in a decreased once burning, compared to burning a DVD with a DVD burner slower more slowly the recordable DVD.

    • The length of the video on the DVD. When you use Windows Media Center to create a DVD, all the video and audio must be converted to a file format audio and video that a DVD player can decode and play. Long videos take longer to burn.

You can include digital images and music on the DVD when creating a slide show. Photos and music are encoded in the MPEG-2 and Dolby audio, Digital video format and consequently, they will increase the time it takes to create and burn slide show DVD.

I'm having a problem with Windows Media Center which seems to have left me speechless. Whenever I have try and watch live TV or recorded using Media Center program, he starts to play to repeat the first second of audio for about 6 seconds and then stops playing gives me an video error and won't let watch me something else. I have a Setup Xbox 360 as an Extender and having no problem whatsoever. The strange thing is that, if I open the program saved directly from Explorer windows with media center, it will play well. If I stop and try and then click RESUME He stutters and gives me this video error.
It used to work fine until I started to play with the audio settings from 5.1 to 7.1 audio in the windows configuration settings. I changed the settings in-game your 7.1 speakers. Actually I tried to switch back, but when I try to 'Test' the speakers it gives a sound like it is stuttering and I still get the video error when I try to play. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Windows 8 Pro with Windows Media Center

I intend to buy a new program, and the specs say that it runs on Windows 7 or Windows 8 Pro with Windows Media Center.  If this program will run on Windows 7, why didn't it work properly on Windows 8?  Why must it be Windows 8 Pro with Windows Media Center?  What is exactly the difference or the differences between Windows 8 and Windows 8 Pro with Windows Media Center?

Windows 8 and Windows 8 Pro does not default Media Center editions Windows 7 premium such as home edition Premium, professional or ultimate edition.

For Windows 8, you must run the Pro edition to use Media Center.

In addition, Windows Media Center must be purchased separately.

  • Tuner problems with vista Media Center

So my tuner for windows media center came down. Windows provides that it is a problem of compatibility. Can't seem to find the driver for ViXS PureTV - U1 4882 anywhere, at least one that will install properly have had this problem before. After doing a restore, it seemed to solve the problem, however, this time above restoration doesn't seem to work properly either. So if someone can lead me to a work, compatible version of the driver for vista or have a solution I can use for this problem I would be very happy.

Problem well solved... For all those who may have the same problem (and I know that my initial description of it was poorly written) tuner not installed via Windows Media Center using Vista 64-bit. Also brings up a PCI device newly diagnosed with an inability to install the driver suitable for the start. The problem has been solved for me by cracking open the case by removing then replacing the tuner in the same slot. To restart it I guest is no longer with the newly found hardware and the tuner seems to have fixed itself.

  • Lost sound with PC Media Center HP

My office is a HP Media Center m1050y (PJ697AV-ABA) CTO of desktop PC. It runs Windows XP. I have a card Creative SB Audigy 2 ZS Audio sound [E480]. The sound is set by default to this card.

One day, I listen and watch a video stream on the Internet and the next day I had no sound. I booted up and I don't think I had sound at first, and then I removed my advertising program. I went to point restaurant the day before but that does not restore the sound.

I reinstalled the drivers and looked at the BIOS splash screen and have tried automatic, enabled and disabled.

I worked through the support HP on the list page:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/bph07154

Still no sound. The connections are good.

I tried to run the diagnostics of creative media for the hardware and the software again. Previously, it would be error. It was a mistake but I pushed the and everything happened. I ran it again and everything.

The speaker system is supplied with the PC. It's a Klipsch loudspeakers and a subwoofer. I had checked the fuse on the box and it was ok. The computer goes into the right speaker which has a small green light. The resisdes pre - amp with the subwoofer. I know power going to the subwoofer because it was hot, and the fuse is ok. Also the green light was carried out.

I could hear also some clicks and pops in time outside so it appeared to work.

Pretext to check hypotheses twice, I pulled an old speaker system and hung. I had sound.

My guess is that the missed preamplifier that has been powered speakers. Also the green light did not shine. What I saw, that was my office of light reflecting on the little green bulb.
