  To the best of my knowledge and belief, ERPI load metadata first in the HFM Application (classic or EPMA, as the case may be) before loading the metadata in HFM (via FDM or directly in HFM as appropriate).
  
  It is possible to prevent the loading of metadata in HFM ERPI or to load data, and to have a drill through to the level of transactions, it is necessary to load the metadata ERPI using?   I still don't think you have a knowledge of the ERPi.
  What struck you talk now + 'Mapping' + has nothing to do with the rules of metadata... they are two different things.

  It is perfectly acceptable to build a classic application, fill it with ODI and then convert the EPMA, if after that you will not be able to use ODI with the planning application.
  I'm not sure when the EPMA adapters comes out for ODI.

• Issue when loading metadata

  I am trying to load the metadata of a shared dimension in an epma planning an application using the contour load utility, but something is wrong. I use a Plant.csv file for the metadata and here's my test file format.

  When I run the utility to load the file, this is the message that appears in the log file

  Find and use the 'Factory' dimension for the loading of the data in the application 'TEST '.

  Loading dimension 'Factory' has been successfully opened.

  A refresh of the cube operation will not be run.

  Look at the files of newspapers of Essbase to status if Essbase data have been loaded.

  Planning of vector data store finished loading processes. 2 data has been read, 2 data records have been processed, 0 were loaded successfully, 2 were rejected.

  
  

  It also generates the error in the error log that says "com.hyperion.planning.InvalidMemberException: the ABC member does not exist or you do not have access to it."

  
  

  I see that the member exists in the outline of the application. I don't know what I am missing or incorrect to do. Please help me with your entries.

  If it is an application of EPMA then you need to load the metadata for EPMA and not directly in the planning, the contour load utility is for Classic applications

  Hi all, please please guide me in this. I am trying to load the cube MAP metadata. I have the metadata to load into a flat file / csv file. Please tell us how to use FDMEE to load these planning cube metadata. Please guide in this if you have steps on it. Best regards, laetitia Rasheed

  Hello

  FDMEE does not support the metadata of loading an application to planning of a FLAT file source. Metadata are only possible when connecting to source directly (such as EBS and PeopleSoft) systems.

  Instead, use one of Planning available utilities to import metadata.

  You can always load the data via FDMEE.

  I am unable to see the IKM SQL for Hyperion Planning Knowledge Module in the stream tab. I have reverse engineered the KM and I see the KM in my project (having only 1 project). I am trying to load the metadata of the file up to planning and selected different refuelling area of target. I was able to debone planning cube models ODI successfully.
  
  ODI Version: 11.1.1.6.3
  Planning version: 11.1.2.2
  
  Any help will be appreciated.

  The workaround is

  After you import the IKM, open the KM and go to "Setting"-> "Source Technology"
  Manually change the generic value of 'Technology' of 'SQL' to 'Undefined '.
  Save and proceed with your new creation of interface

  IAM a newbie to Hyperion. IAM trying to load the metadata in the classic application for a particular dimension.
  I get the error like "Unrecognized value for column header" "."
  I removed all spaces in the csv file, but the error is still the same.
  
  Please give me a clue as to what I should do with my load of metadata.

  It is possible to use a header, but the header record must match the properties of the planning

  for example

  'Cost Analysis', ' Alias: default ', 'Memory', ' aggregation (OPEX).

  Basically, it seems that you need to remove underscore characters.

  I want to load some meta data in hfm applicaiotn
  
  A way to load data are hfm windows method where we do a metadata of the file it with the utility and then copy the file that is in the format xml, while accessing the request through the workspace in tasks-> loading jobs-> load the metadata. We can load this file into the application.
  
  Is there another way to load data and its appropriate formats?

  1. before opening the file, allow for marcos, if you allow the macros don't work
  2. go in each page account, the landscapes, the entity etc. And build your metadata.
  3. in the last column of each file, it is a State of excel formula to build the file if you create more members that you need to copy this formula to the other lines.
  You have two parts one who create the account and that tells the program the HIERARCHIES. In HIERARCHIES when the parent of the default value is #root, don't put something. If you do it the program you could not download your data.

  4. then go to the marco and press execute. The only thing that would make the macro is the last column of each page and copy it to a different excel so it will be easier for you to copy it to a txt.

  If you want to use the dimension essbase as a source, then you'll need extract the size of a target using the 'LKM Hyperion Essbase METADATA to SQL.
  It would be also possible to go directly to the planning of the relational tables in the applications, but you must have an understanding of how they work.

  In the section of hierarchies, at least one account must be attached to the root. It would appear as a member name, preceded only by a semicolon:

• Loading metadata for Essbase to planning.

  I want to know what are the methods to load the metadata in the planning of the essbase cube. I tried edge Extractor to create a csv file, then I used ODI to reverse the file and create a data source. Then I reversed the application of planning, developed the interface and charted the dimensions. I have more dimensions in the target that the data source file, and when I run the interface I always have some planning problems.
  
  I need to create a table sql from the csv file then reversed and map it to plan? Is there an easy way, I can load the members without the use of ODI?

  Check the operator and look at the statistics in the report it should tell you how many records have been loaded, if it is zero and there is no file error (assuming that you have two types of logging enabled), you must back up why he tries to load no record, break down into sections extracted e.g. planning of sql or a flat file then file/sql for essbase.

  The aggregation column must specify what type of plan you are talking.

  change the plan1 to be the same name as the type of your plan, if you want to apply to more than one type of plan, then you must use other names of type of plan for example

• Unexpected error: 800443 1 has occurred loading metadata

  I have an account which is calculated by a rule of HFM. I changed the "Custom3TopMember" attribute on the account, because we got rid of some members in our dimension custom3. However, when I try to load the metadata on the windows client, I get the error message "unexpected error: 800443 1 took place. Is there a way to fix this error?

  You load the metadata through the Win32 client or via the web? See the logfile if the former, or anything that is displayed on the screen if the latter. Are there any errors listed? In addition, if you have posted JVs that come into conflict with the new metadata, must be recorded, changed and published after the load of metadata.

  You can check to see if this is your problem (developing of course) and try to SCAN the file metadata with the integrity check is turned off.

  The audit integrity option will be disabled from 11.1.2.4 version forward and users can not uncheck the option more in the future. This box also disappears from the user interface in future releases.

  Load a metadata without integrity checking, causing a lot of problems with the application. The development team decided to check integrity run whenever loading metadata and do not provide an option for users to disable it. It is documented in the BUG below and internal to Oracle.
