  Do not hesitate to remove older versions, if you are reasonably sure you have migrated all of your files and have no technical problems. Just make sure to run the appropriate uninstall programs, trash not only the apps. Also, be warned that you may need to reinstall LR4 and CS6 to fix broken files and components that are shared as bridge associations...

  Adobe has made no announcement on this subject and it is unlikely that they will be. What you "heard" is simply speculation at best and sow the rumor at worst. Personally, I suspect that ACR will continue to work in the CS6 for as long as Adobe still sells CS6. And, no, there is no announcement of Adobe...

• Installed CC and my manager CC points only updates for CS6 and says 'Install' next to the CC version

  I don't know why this is, but my CC Manager now only displays updates for CS6 programs and it says 'Install' next to the CC version. I already have the latest CC versions installed on my PC, but now they do not receive the updates.

  Any ideas how to make it work once again, I don't want to have to re - download and install again. I clicked on install Adobe prelude CC and it seems to go through the installation process, as if I have already installed it. Please see attachment

• Error 16 for CS6 and CC Mac

  Running OSX 10.8.4 mid 2009 Macbook 6 GB ram 256 GB SSD

  CS6 for some obscure reason fails to open with an error 16.  I have uninstall and AAM does not list so I can't reinstall

  CC bridge download that works, but Photoshop CC gives the same error and the same error to uninstall/reinstall.

  How to fix this and how to get back version cloud CS6?

  And why bridge CC tells me I have not sufficient permissions when I use help > update?

  I'd be happy to nuke and pave, but I need to know how.

  I solved the dilemma by going direct download and avoiding the upgrade of the CC Setup program.

  First of all, I restarted my Mac using Cmd R and my HARD Time Machine disk (I hope make you the back more often), reconfigured on my Macbook with the last full backup before this problem. Save all your files of important work on another disk before you do.

  After that, you can initiate this recovered image and use CS6 normally.

  This time around to avoid the update of AAM and proceed with this link for direct downloads of CC.

  Follow the instructions carefully before you click the direct download links.

  It worked for me and now I have a fully functional CC Photoshop and bridge as well as files .dmg for both, no need to keep re - download.
