• Task Scheduler with a click - once the shortcut.

  Windows XP I used to have a scheduled task that would begin its click - once the shortcut program.  It would update the program if necessary, and run.

  Windows 7 with the new Task Scheduler, I can't figure out how to make this happen.  My program/Script is the path to the program\Program.appref - ms.  (this running in a cmd window works fine).

  When he tries to run, he sends errors following back:

  -J' rebooted my computer and reinstalled version 11

  At the command prompt, type: sfc/scannow

  This will check for any violation of the integrity and repair any damaged operating system files. It may take some time to run.

  Reboot your system.

  I'm working on 11.1.2 version of Hyperion in a distributed environment. From the Console, I'm trying to copy an application (including databases) and stick with a different name in order to make changes to the copied one. As the copy option is grayed out when I right click on the name of the application, I was unable to do the same thing. So, I tried to copy only a database in the same application, but copy option is grayed out here also...

  Also, I checked for other applications to check if the copy option is grayed out or not, and for some it is and is not for others.

  Are you sure that apps are not applications planning, perhaps those that you can copy is pure Essbase applications and those that you don't plan applications.

  Open Windows Explorer (NOT Internet Explorer)

  Right click on 'my computer '.

  Click on "advanced system settings".

  Click on the button "Variables according to" @ bottom

  In the lower window (System Variables) scroll way then double click on it

  You can now change the system path

  In my case, I added...

  ; C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.7.0_09\bin

  Notice the semicolon at the beginning of this type: it is very important

  You must keep the path correct since new versions of Java is

  OK-a restart is always a good idea when you do this kinda thing

  All this is saying the command prompt where JAVA

  It seems that JAVA do not know where he lives it needs to get its DLLs

  If this does not kill Java (remove) and retrieve the Java SDK and install - I see that we are (now up to 10 v so path will defo need to change)

  Make sure you get rather than JRE SDK and make sure that it is the 32-bit version (x 86)
