  Two tables in the recyclebin? The LOB could be orphaned of a DROP TABLE?

  Was just curious to know if tables or its dependent objects resides on dictionary managed tablespace. If so I doubt recyclebin would come to play here.

• Orphans of photos in the library, how to locate?

  Hi, I recently noticed that some of my videos exist in the library of photo.app but I can't find them anywhere. I checked:

  1. Moments
  2. Album "all photos".
  3. I tried to find them with a search by their file name box
  4. I tried to locate them on the map.
  5. I checked 'Hidden' album
  6. I recently checked "deleted" album

  So, it seems that there is no such thing as these videos, but if I try to import I get a notice in duplicate and it shows me that this same exact file is already imported to the library. I checked the master library folder in the Finder and it's there.

  I tried to rebuilt Photos.app library yesterday, but nothing seems to change, the videos are not yet found nowhere iCloud library status is stuck on "Update"... ", so, don't know if it will fix later.

  I want to find what is happening, because it can have other pictures and videos which disappeared.

  Maybe there's a way to dive into the database from photo library and check there?

  Also information on how find and duplicate detection work will be appreciated (looks like they check in different parts of the library).

  Using iCloud photo library? Which adds an additional level of detection of duplicates when syncing with iCloud.

  Photos is pretty smart when checking for duplicates during the import.

  When I try to import the exactly the same image file or video twice, I get a warning, if I want to import the duplicate.  If I insist and import a second time, Photos will show the image or empty twice in the next moments, but it will be like using "duplicate".  There will be two different versions of the photo, but the original image file are only saved once in the Masters folder.

  And when I rename the image file before you import the same photo again, pictures don't inspire me not an´bout double, but it still won't matter the image file a second time.  It will just create a second, linked to the first original file version and ignore the new file name.

  So, try the following to find the original of your video an orphan:

  • Photos of quit smoking.
  • Drag the video out of the folder control on your desktop, and then reimport the photos.  If you see a warning about duplicates, ignore it and import however.
  • Now drag the video in the folder of masters to where you moved since.

  Now ctrl and the 'last import' open album click on the imported video. Select 'display in the moment '. That is telling the new side-side with the original import?  Compare filenames, dates, places.

• Upgrade applications of orphans; need advice on alternatives

  I always run 10.6.8 and would be happy to continue in this way (if it's not broke, don't fix it), but now I get warnings that some everyday applications will soon cease working with my old system. However, a more recent system will be an orphan other important applications (esp InDesign and Photoshop) and their replacement will be EXPENSIVE. Two options: 1) should I keep 10.6.8 somewhere and restart with her when I need to use these legacy software or 2) migrate to other, cheaper apps? I use only the bare minimum of potential Adobe. What page layout and photo manipulation apps are like them, but less sturdy... and expensive?

• iPhoto 9.5.1 orphans most of my photos

  I launched iphoto 9.5.1 on 10.9.5 and have no good backup.  (Please do not pass judgment, I know I should have upgraded and saved...). Is it possible for me to return my events, changes, titles and other metadata?

  2 days ago iphoto crashed and would not restart. When you hold option + command while from iphoto did not (much less quick to rebuild) library, I installed iPhoto Library Manager who found the library without even an error message but only a fraction of the pictures (about 1500 to 6000). Photos seem to lack of each event, the films have been truncated. The most recent event was absent.

  I checked in the file system, Library.photolibrary/Masters/2014/05/10/ Pictures/iPhoto... the pictures were there and seem to be grouped reasonably, probably by import. A recovery of Library Manager iPhoto later with pictures of recovery orphan to return a batch of photos, I guess that all that were in events over what was in the trash. (Even after the removal of duplicates, I more than before.) They are in folders of every day now, I almost 500 instead of 90 and lost titles and most of the changes.

  When you hold the option + command when starting iphoto did not (much less quick to rebuild) library

  Have you tried to hold down the option and command keys and double click the library you want to regenerate? Try to direct iPhoto to the library this way.

  Where your iPhoto library? On an external drive or on your system drive?

• What is the best way to identify corresponding ctrl/indctr an orphan of the label?

  Forgive me for what may be a stupid question but in some sort a label has been separated from its control or its indicator in my original (large) block diagram - I'm curious to know if there is a quick way to find the associated control or indicator? Maybe a combo strikes of somesort?

  Don't know if it's the easiest way, but you can try this:

  Select the orphan label on the BD, press CTRL + F (opens the find and Replace dialog box)

  Select search text

  Type the label name

  The search result should show 2 results, the label of the control in the public Service and the label on the BD

  If you go in the control and right click and select find terminal, you will find the terminal associated with the label an orphan.

  If the files are actually orphans that the only hope to recover would be to make some sort of data recovery using 3 third party software.

  Note: Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

• How to delete files orphans on the equallogic virtual volume

  So what commands or GUI options are available to remove volume virtual orphaned objects?

  vSphere indicates the virtual volume in a vacuum but a space used 53 GB to 1 TB. The equallogic gui shows several virtual machines with 0 Mb in size associated with the storage container. Any attempt to remove gui and ssh results in the following error 'storage container must be empty to be deleted. The storage container is also showing that it incorporates snapshots and related clones that I can't access.

  I'm new as a result of Mokafive, and I ran into a position where the main image store has orphaned objects.  These were created when I was trying to upload an image and it failed due to the main image bank ran out of disk space.  It's in our region of acceptance by the user because we are not gone into production yet.

  The image store is a separate on the same domain server.

  My question is does anyone know the correct method to remove these orphaned objects from the image bank?

  If the LivePC is not displayed in the console of MokaFive then update probably failed before register you in the database. You can verify this by checking the tables dbo.livepcs and dbo. Livepc_files.

• Cannot delete orphans actions in Windows 7

  I have cloned my hard drive and replaced by a larger. In the process, I temporarily deleted all the other drives. One of them had some "shared folders".

  Now I have the largest disk and have deleted a "recovery" partition, I have several actions that have been in a different drive letter and are now: "not accessible" and cannot be opened: "could not start Explorer hosted to..." »

  Command prompt "net share/delete xxxxx" said that they do not exist.

  Computer Management shows them, but the only option is the 'open '.

  Mountvol.exe does not recognize that the orphaned drive letter part therefore cannot remove any mount point.

  While they are there... but can not be referenced or removed.

  Any help with this would be most appreciated.

  Mountvol will only show local readers, not the network shares.

  If you are sure that you watch them actions (which I doubt) then you can remove them here: HKLM\system\currentcontrolset\services\lanmanserver\shares. Better to create a restore point before the registry of hacking and to check that your repair CD Windows 7 is good nick.

• Briefcase is disconnect leaving orphans

  I use a flash drive to sneaker-net some files when I use someone elses computer.  I keep an original on my hard drive of the laptop in a Briefcase.  Periodically, I would like to be able to synchronize the hard drive and flash drive to keep the most recent document on the two media.  That's what's supposed to happen.

  What happens is that he works for a while, then the version of Briefcase becomes an orphan without reason.  Nothing from what I can see has crashed.  He has nothing in common to point to a cause.  I had this happen four times now.  Whenever I have to

  1. Copy the files from the Briefcase to the flash drive.
  2. Create a new Briefcase.
  3. Copy the files in the Briefcase again.
  4. Remove old towel.

  Can someone help me with steps (a) determine the cause of the problem and (b) to understand what I can do to create a more permanent solution?

  • Windows 7
  • Laptop HP tc4400 (2 GB memory, 148GB HDD, 37.4 GB used, remains free)
  • Kingston 1 GB Data Traveller drive (by using of 350 MB, 650 MB of free space, five folders of files, for a total of about 100 files)
