LOB segment seen in dba_segments but not in dba_lobs.

I have a situation where I hvave a LOB segment and its index that I see in DBA_SEGMENTS, but can not find back DBA_LOBS.

    what I want to know is how I can also add additional segments but I don't want to do

    Note, however, that on paths drawn with the pen, who handles of variable length anchor, extra anchor points will not evenly distributed.

    For example, try a pen path created with click and click-and - drag only and you will see what happens.

    Today (Tuesday 22 may 2012), after seeing the yellow icon in the taskbar, I ran Windows Update and KB2633880 - KB2518864 - KB2572073 successfully installed, I turned off the PC by clicking on the red icon Turn Off with a shield icon, expected for all 3 updates to install, 4-color and for the PC to stop itself. It took a while, but everything went well. No error message.

    After turning on the PC, I went back to Windows Update and was surprised to see Windows Update suggests to install... KB2633880 - KB2518864 - KB2572073 which is the same three components I have installed successfully.

    I ran Microsoft Fix It that 1 issue (update of Windows components needs to be repaired (next line) repair of components Windows Update.) I clicked Next. Everything went well. I had a green check mark 'Fixed '.  I turned off the PC (without having to install 3 updates which I have already installed).

    I turned on the PC and went to Windows Update, asking me to install KB2633880 - KB2518864 - KB2572073. It's like Windows Update does not "see" that these 3 elements have already been installed.

    Note: I have the same problem on another PC. The two PC XP SP3 and are stand-alone PC. One is a desktop computer. The other laptop.

    My problem is very similar to the one raised here:

    However, the OP in this question unfortunately never had answer to his question.
    When I plug my Xbox 360 controller on my laptop, my computer recognizes it as a device, but does not recognize it as a game controller. Instead, my device is listed under a category called "Other devices", and the drivers are not installed (he gets the little warning sign yellow after the icon).
    I've tried right-clicking on the device, by clicking 'Uninstall', out in him plugging, uninstalling and reinstalling Microsoft Xbox 360 accessories, restarted my computer and each unique combination of these things.
    I tried to talk to an Ambassador of Microsoft, who told me to update the driver and manually make a 'human interaction device', but unfortunately it did not work.

    I also know that it is not a problem with the xbox controller, that I plugged into another laptop (also Windows 7 64-bit), as well as pilots very well on the other laptop.
    I'm really puzzled by this situation. Any help would be greatly appreciated, but please do not repeat the information or links I listed here, or who was in the last question which I quoted above. Thank you for your help.

    Here's what you do:
    1. plug your device and go to Device Manager
    2 right click on everything that your computer recognizes your device as (for me, it was listed under 'Other devices' and had a yellow warning sign on this subject) and click on "Uninstall".
    3. disconnect your device
    4. If you have not already done so, download and install the appropriate for your device 'Microsoft Xbox 360 accessories' program
    5. plug your device back on and go back to Device Manager
    6 right-click on everything that your computer recognizes your device as (for me, it was listed under 'Other devices' and had a yellow warning sign on this subject), but this time click on "update driver software".
    7. click on "browse computer driver software.
    8. click on "Let Me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.
    9. Select "Microsoft Common Controller" and then select your device. Have it install this driver. From there on, it should work on.

    Why? Most likely because the PDF Viewer on the Tablet is too stupid to deal with show/hide functionality.

    You could try PDF Expert of Readdle on qpdf Notes Pro on Android and iOS devices.

    Depending on how the show/hide was created during the export of InDesign, it can work in viewers. Otherwise, you will need to open PDF files in Acrobat and edit features show/hide something more digests of PDF device viewers.

    BTW, you will encounter the same issues with the PDF display components in web browsers.

    The problem seems to have been using the old profile. Not only it has resulted in access to messages becomes incredibly slow, some of the meu options stopped working completely (e.g. tools / address book, help / about).

    After a discussion on the Linux Mint support forum http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=47 & t = 195264 & sid = b8b72a18e053f2f03dfe0e11cf21a59e I created a new profile and solved the problem.

    This area in Oracle DB is new to me so try to learn and to shrink the segment.

    I went through various metalink doco (386341.1) but not be able to get answers for below...

    Issues related to the:

    1. how much free space is available in the lob segment?

    2 can I assume 'no LOB DATA' as the free space currently and even will be recovered once the segment will be shrunk?

    3. no disadvantage of using "ALTER TABLE... SHRINK SPACE.

    4. is it true if storage segment is 100 GB as many redo will be generated when trying to alter table... shrink the space?

    I'm following the steps below.

    1 find Segment name-> sys_lob123

    2. find the size of storage - > 100 GB

    3. find the size of the LOB data-> 70

    4. find the size of the data not LOB-> 30

    Select 'storage' from dba_extents bytes

    where nom_segment = 'sys_lob123. '

    100 GB

    3. the size of the LOB

    Select dbms_lob.getlength (col_lob) in the table_lob;

    70 GB

    4. the size of the LOB data not

    100-70 = 30 GB (i.e. #3 - #2)

    Use DBMS_REDEFINITION to reorganize the LOB segment, it is the best way to retrieve a LOB segment space. Also use the clause "MEANS of COMPRESS" and SECURE LEADER, creating the temp table. There is no reason that you can use the BASIC FILE. It's online process, which means that your app can stay up to... However, make sure that monitor you the database when executing redef, as it can cause conflicts and slow down your application, in which case you must kill the reorg...

    If this process is not feasible or overwhelms you, "ALTER TABLE MOVE" is another option.

    With 'Displacement of Alter table', you need to rebuild all indexes after you move the LOB segment. Don't forget this is an offline process and your application needs a time out while you do this.

    Here is the query to list the 10 LOBs albums in your database-

    If you move the lob segment, then the data of the line must change because the lob is in a different place. There is no way around that. The row stores a pointer to LOB. Oracle has decided to implement this in a way that makes all change of rowid (you can't influence that).

    So, as I said - it's life.

    I am inserting a large table with LOB pictures with 300,000 lines. I expect not to occupy the 40G drive. So I created 3 data files on the USERS tablespace where my diagram

    Drop Table does not remove the Blob LobIndex Segment [ID 394442.1]

    If the deleted table is always in the trash then you will always see segments of business for her. Purge of the trash will remove them.

    I am trying to write a PL/SQL procedure that will move all my lob segments in a tablespace again (this is for when a dev environment is created... lots of storage & compaction of the things endure us in the production takes place then!)

    I know that the SQL is:
    alter table X move lob (name-of-lob) store as tablespace NEWTBS;
    But I want to build these declarations programmatically by querying views user_ or all_. I don't know where to start. If I look in WHERE USER_SEGMENTS, I see segments with names like SYS_LOB0000048001C00017$ $... but I don't know what the table in order to begin to construct the statement "alter table...". ». (In other words, I think I reason that the command ' alter table SYS_LOB0000048001C00017$ $ move lob... ") ("wouldn't be correct).

    Similarly, the SQL will require me to know the name of the lob, I think, and that should be the name of the column in the table. But what view will allow me to extract this information, so I can complete my little building SQL?

    Can someone point me in the right direction please?

    I think that you are looking for the table USER_LOBS (or ALL_LOBS or DBA_LOBS). Who has the TABLE_NAME, COLUMN_NAME and nom_segment. So I expect that you are looking for something like (not tested)

    Using the new Apple TV application, under the menu Add Apple TV, I see one of my Apple TV (downstairs) but not others (on the floor).

    • The two Apple TV are on the same network, connected via Ethernet / 10 BaseT to the main router
    • The two Apple TV are on the 7.2.1 software version and are of the variety A1469
    • The router is an Apple Airport Extreme
    • There are two, Apple Airport Express in the network, also connected via Ethernet / 10 BaseT
    • More important still, the AppleTV TWO appear in Airplay, since the iPhone even that, in the application of the Apple TV, cannot see any of the AppleTV.

    Rather mystifying. I can pair one of the AppleTV, but it is not even seen by the app. I can't make sense.

    Try the following steps for the Apple TV 2 & 3, check if things work after each step if necessary, before you try the next.

    1. Restart the Apple TV (settings > general > restart).
    2. Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL cables for 30 seconds.
    3. Restart your router. (Also try to remove the power cord for at least 30 seconds)
    4. Reset Apple TV (settings > general > reset > reset all settings)
    5. Restore the Apple TV (settings > general > reset > restore)
