Location of data metadata location VS

Hello

When you double-click a module and there is this screen popped up that has three tabs, name, location of metadata, data location.

First of all, could someone explain what is the difference between the location of the metadata and data?

Second, if I issue the following two commands:

SET GATEWAY_MODULE «M_DB2' OMBALTER «L_DB2» REFERENCE LOCATION

OMBALTER GATEWAY_MODULE 'M_DB2' SET VALUES OF PROPERTIES (DB_LOCATION) ("L_DB2")

What in fact did each of the two commands? Who changes the location of metadata, and which changes location data?

And finally, on the location of the metadata tab, if the location is set to < unspecified >, what could be (bad) effect?

You can correct me if I'm wrong.

Any response is appreciated.

Thank you
Sozy

Hi Sozy,

First of all, could someone explain what is the difference between the location of the metadata and data?

Location of metadata is only used OWB during the import object definitions. Rather the data locations used during code generation for mapping source.

What in fact did each of the two commands?

First order (LOCATION OF REFERENCE DEFINED) defined the "New Configuration by default" property in the list of the selected locations in the dialog properties of Module (Data tab).
This action takes effect only during the creation of the new Configuration.

Second command (SET PROPERTIES (DB_LOCATION)) changes the link from the module to the location of data specified (it changes the 'Rental' module configuration property)
for the current configuration.
In the warehouse business target - after this change, module you deploy different location objects.
In case source module - after this change OWB use new location for referncing tables/views in the generation / deployment of mapping.

Who changes the location of metadata, and which changes location data?

Both commands take effect only at the location of the data

And finally, on the location of the metadata tab, if the location is set to , which might be (bad) effect?

You can leave unspecified if you do not plan to import database table definitions

Kind regards
Oleg

    I'll use the APIs of LOD, but the network is not yet partitioned.
    Before partitioning, I want to see if Netbeans can read my network. When I run the code to do this:
    String url = "jdbc:oracle:thin:@IP_of_machine:1521:dbSID";

        try {

    Note that network has been properly validated:
    SQL> SELECT SDO_NET.VALIDATE_NETWORK('ITALY_NET') FROM DUAL;
    SDO_NET. VALIDATE_NETWORK ('ITALY_NET')
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    TRUE

    It seems that you have probably set user_defined_data 'Y', but do not fill your data defined by the user to the user_sdo_network_user_data.

    Follow these steps:

    select network,user_defined_data from user_sdo_network_metadata where network = 'ITALY_NET';

    If user_defined_data is set to 'Y', you can set it to "n" then IFN will no definition of user data search in user_sdo_network_user_data.
    If you intend to use your network user data, you must set user_defined_data 'Y' and
    fill your user data information in user_sdo_network_user_data.

    desc user_sdo_network_user_data;

    You can get the user to more data information form the white paper in ndm_whitepaper_11gR2 under the Section of the data defined by the user.

  • Problem with sharing of data specific to the application via BBM 10.2

    Hello - I am having a problem of data sharing applications with BBM 10.2-specific. I take the advice of some comments here, and it seems to work on 10.1. I can receive the file on 10.2, but when I try to share on the same device that I get this:

    InvocationWrapper::onQueryFinished: no matching result from Menu Service for query
       mimeType=""
       uri=QUrl("file:///accounts/1000/shared/misc/My App Data.myapp")
       data= ""
       metadata= QMap()
       perimeter= 0
       action= "bb.action.SHARE"
       target= "sys.bbm.sharehandler"
       invokerIncluded= false
    InvocationPrivate::onQueryResolved: no result matching query, no armed signal sent.

    It is the call that I use, which works on 10.1 but not 10.2:

    Invocation {
       id: invokeBBM
       query {
          InvokeQuery {
             id: invokeBBMQuery
             uri: "file:///accounts/1000/shared/misc/My App Data.myapp"
             invokeTargetId: "sys.bbm.sharehandler"
             invokeActionId: "bb.action.SHARE"
          }
       }
    }

    I also tried it with a "text/plain" MIME type and a few other variations, same result. If something has changed in point 10.2?

    (And while I'm asking, any reason why I can't use the data instead of a file uri? I need to convert the data in JSON, save the file, share the file, send, receive, save the file on the receiver, then open it, read it, and convert it back. Seems a little roundabout, if I could share the JSON data. "(And this is the only reason that my application requires permissions of shared files)."

    Thank you!

    It is a problem with the current version of BlackBerry Dev 10.2 Alpha.  You can call C++ BBM, but citing QML does not work.

  • First change the data 'création Date' photos

    I don't know if others have seen this, but I found it's a major problem. I submitted to the bugs database, but I wanted to see if this is an isolated incident or if others are experiencing the same and, if so, if we can get Adobe to fix this bug as soon as possible.

    In short, I have found that when I import photos in first (to make a slide show or a timelapse or what-have-you), first replaces the original "creation date" metadata and file info from the photo. It is extremely problematic because in my company, we have a lot of pictures we need to arrange by date in the finder window. Be the first to substitute the date of creation is very annoying. We worked on a work around that rename us all files when we first have to capture, but it's not very satisfying long-term. It is easy to change a file name; It must not be easy to change the time of the "creation date". To demonstrate:

    Here's a screenshot I just took. Under Mac OSX, that the screenshot feature automatically names the file according to when the screenshot was taken, so who will provide a frame of reference as we go along. Here is the details pane of the screenshot:

    Screen Shot 2013-10-07 at 10.07.22 AM.png

    Note that the creation is 10:06. Also note the time of metadata when I look at the screenshot in Adobe Bridge:

    Screen Shot 2013-10-07 at 10.16.02 AM.png

    Still 10:06. So far so good. Now import this picture in first (in case you're wondering, I did it by bringing via the media browser, but the bug remains the same, if drag you it in the project Panel).

    Screen Shot 2013-10-07 at 10.17.31 AM.png

    Of course, you will notice, this creation does not read the 'creation date' metadata, but it is a strange thing that happened for a while. If all goes well it will get fixed soon.

    Anyway, if I look at the info panel is now the original photo or in Adobe Bridge, the 'creation date' time was replaced by when I imported the photo into the first (which happened at 10:17):

    Screen Shot 2013-10-07 at 10.20.05 AM.pngScreen Shot 2013-10-07 at 10.20.27 AM.png

    So, I think it's a major problem. I can't believe this is how "it is supposed to work." Importing a file just in first should not change its data file. Please respond if you have had this same problem, and maybe we can get adobe to fix it as soon as possible.

    To turn this off, uncheck the box "Write XMP IDS to files on Import" in the preferences of the media Panel, or do the readonly files.

  • Save as not fill not custom metadata value defined by the rule of the world

    I created a global rule to set the default value for the date of creation of custom as the date metadata field current system. This rule works fine for normal recording but when I use check in a similar feature of the AAU, the value created is is filled with metadata value of original content instead of the default value defined by the rule. Is it possible to fill the date of creation as default value defined by the rule even when checking in a similar role.

    Thanks in advance!

    Published by: 906120 on January 5, 2012 04:42

    Similar check-in does not script in the field "use defaultvalue", since it must copy the metadata values. However, you can add the script to the "derived field" as well. Don't use dprDefaultValue but dprDerivedValue =
    This script will be evaluated before the check-in operation and any value contained in the metadata field will be replaced by the value set by the script.

  • Premiere Pro CS6 any data 'Date Created'

    I studied this background in Adobe and public forums without seeing a similar discussion. I have a folder of .mts clips shot in AVCHD on a Sony HXR-MC2000. I can import or drag-and - drop clips and they come into my seq very well - obviously a recent update, I have installed has tackled the problem of no audio import with the clip, thank you, Adobe!  But for the life of me, I can't have the "Date Created" coming with the clip info. I have this box checked in the Panel PP6, but not these data imports.

    Any ideas?  I am running CS6 6.0.1 on an iMac running OS X 10.8.1 Mountain Lion

    Hi Miltko,

    Using a Sony SLT A37, can't do PrP to include creation or modification dates in the data of the project file. That is why the yet more general shortcoming. I would like to hear from users of Nikon and Canon.

    You can add these metadata in first Pro CC 2014.2 from now thanks to the display of the metadata > base. In the next release of Premiere Pro, metadata will be sortable in the project Panel (it's not currently). I tested it and it works fine.

    I also tested Premiere Pro CS6 and "Date Modified" and "création Date" metadata are sortable in this version with some standard .mov files I have in hand right now.

    If I understand correctly, all the metadata in the project Panel will be sorted in the next version. This is one of those unsung, updates that those of you on this post, will enjoy.

    Tip:

    To ensure that the metadata you need are included in Premiere Pro, please follow the standard advice: copy your SD card set to HD from your computer, and then import the files using the media browser. This way your audio, timecode, dates of creation and modification dates will be imported.

    If you have followed the standard procedures and you still do not see the metadata, file a report bug here: http://adobe.ly/ReportBug

    Premiere Pro CS6 allows users the Date of creation and update metadata for sorting by date, if your device is supported for use with CS6.

    Thank you

  • Panasonic TZ20 metadata

    Just pick up a new camera Panasonic TZ20.

    Bridge displays date metadata in the metadata Panel, but not in the filter despite activated date fields list and work with the images from other cameras.  Date fields are also read OK by bridge when searching by date.

    Does anyone know how I can seduce Bridge CS5 4.0.4.2 (fully updated) to display fields date so I can filter on them?

    In the meantime, I'm reported as an anomaly through the Adobe bugs page.

    Were all your photo files created on the same day? If so, the "Created Date" will not be shown on in the Panel filter since the "Date Created" values for all of the photo in the folder files are same (actually a value). It is designed in Panel filter bridge.

  • Get built-in FLV of landmarks from metadata

    Hello gurus!

    I would like to read a FLV names of the cue points and times and load it into a table that would have the form: [[cueP0, 0.0], [cueP1, 3.2], [cueP2, 6.8],...]. I wou ld like to fill this table * before * the flv broadcast for the first time, so I need to do when the flv metadata are first read in.

    With the help of some of the messages in this forum, I figured a way to retrieve the names of benchmark and time (see the following code), but I'm unable to 'capture' these variables to fill a table with them. How to use the metadata benchmark information to fill a table with this info?

    //the function called when flv first loads
    var cuePointNames:Array;     //an array I created just to see if I can populate it with cue point names from metadata

    function onMetaData(infoObj:Object):void {     var allCues:Object = infoObj.cuePoints;
         for each (var item:Object in allCues) {
         trace(item.name, item.time);     //this traces the names and times of all of the cue points in the flv
         }
    }

    //I have tried things like these wrapped in functions called from the onMetaData function:

    cuePointNames.push(item.name);

    //or

    for (var i:uint = 0; i < allCues.length; i++) {
         cuePointNames(item[i].name);
    }

    //but, to no avail...it does not work.

    How do I "grab" these landmark of the infoObject data metadata?

    As always, any light shed on this problem would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Because you can draw, you can paste them into your table. With what you have demonstrated, you want an array of arrays, in order to make a new table for each marker/hour and that push your main table. This should work:

    var cuePointNames:Array = new Array();

    function onMetaData(infoObj:Object):void
    {
    var allCues:Object = infoObj.cuePoints;
    for each {(var point: Object dans allCues)}
    var subarray: Array = new Array (item.name, item.time);
    cuePointNames.push (subArray);
    }
    }

    Using version 1.3 of Photos, I edited the metadata about the images, I received a business of digitization of slides to insert the first day of the slide, the location, a title and a keyword.  I want to archive these images with the original resolution of 2500 dpi, but when I export original unmodified, it does not preserve information.  When I export by choosing export as XMP IPTC, I can't read the XMP file to see if there are my revisions.

    When I export using the 'Export # photo (s)' choice, I can use the previews/tools/Inspector/iptc and see my changes.  But this photo has only 72 dpi.

    Is there a way to preserve this modification of metadata information in the original not modified?  Alternatively, this file has XMP I exported the info?  If so, how can I read it?  And that would mean I need to export both the original unmodified and the XMP file to my files from archive?

    Don't know what you want - well there is a CIO field in the EXIF fields it is meaningless as DPI is not a setting but the result of a math problem third grade - points by (divided by) inches until you add inches per impression you have no IPR - and when you add inches the DPI for printing are determined by calculating not by any setting

    For more information, see http://www.rideau-info.com/photos/mythdpi.html

    A 1200 x 1800 pixels picture printed as a 4'x 6' printing is 300 DPI bit matter what setting the EXIF says

  • How to set up Lightroom to monitor folders, automatically import

    Hello

    I'm just getting started with Lightroom, so please forgive the newbie question.

    All my photos are on an external hard drive, in the J:/Pictures folder.

    What should I do in Lightroom to make new pictures added in this folder are added automatically ("any") to the Lightroom/database library? that is Lightroom 'monitors' records in the background for all the new images?

    Thank you very much.

    Stefan

    Hi and thanks again for the really useful answers and ideas! I would like to just get back to that, after thinking the question a bit more. My question re. "track records" may have been somewhat misleading to begin with. Yes, I asked on the "follow-up of files for changes", but what I really should have asked is how Lightroom would "know" changes in the photo files themselves, where these changes are made 'outside' Lightroom. For me, it is a sine qua non. I am very happy to adjust my workflow to ensure that this requirement can be satisfied.

    If you mean you want to use another program to edit photos and CRUSH the original, don't do that. Do you no end of trouble in Lightroom. Use instead the Lightroom Edit in... such as mentioned above command that will create a copy to change that Lightroom won't.

    The starting point then of data management is that the data, itself, should be the 'truth' and no external knowledge is required, for example in the form of an application (like Lightroom) who keeps a separate record "data about data" (metadata), for example the location, date taken, tags, etc. people.

    OK, stop there. If this is what you want, you must NOT use Lightroom. In fact, according to all of your questions, it seems of course as Lightroom is the wrong tool for you. I suggest you need to change your entire thinking and requirements process, or NOT use Lightroom.

    I'm not going to address other questions, as there seems to be no need for me to do. You're headed on a path very problematic and unsatisfactory, you will not like Lightroom, you won't benefit from it, it does not meet your needs. Period.

    You have other software "organize" which seems to exactly meet your stated needs. I recommend you use your operating system to organize your pictures.
