What is drive D: How it is there? Did you create it? How
its size is?

Assuming that it is relatively small and it came with the
computer, it is very likely is a recovery partition. It was created by
manufacturer of the computer as a place to contain the files needed to
Reinstall Windows, that never becomes necessary. You should never
write something there, or remove something here.

Even if it's not what it is, please be aware of the following: you
should never back up to a second hard drive not removable (or even
worse, a second partition on your hard drive only) because it leaves
you sensitive to the simultaneous loss of the original and the backup on
many of the most common dangers: serious glitches, power is close

In my view, secure backup must be on a unguarded and removable media
in the computer. For backup really secure (required, for example, if the)
the life of your company depends on your data), you should have several
generations of backup and at least one of these generations must be
stored off-site.

For the 6 months charges I couldn't play all the music in the music library of the media player. the error message would say my music files have been damaged or corrupted. I tried to delete the files, but could not. unexpetedly about 2 weeks ago the media player has started working properly, and even though I was confused, I was happy to be able to listen to my music. However, when I did my weekly back, a message appeared that said that some files could not be backed up. My computer has since fallen twice and had to repair itself and then when I tried my weekly backup only yesterday, the computer won't start backup. reads the error message: Bit Locker encryption cannot be used because the Bit Locker critical system files are missing or damaged.

The limits for rotational USB or USB flash drives were related

You may be sure choose "ignore permissions" as appropriate

on the drives where the old user accounts can stifle access to their content. Or

create a duplicate of the old files on a different drive, convert the need

  • How can I prevent the Vista layout muted sound when I lock the system?

In the last days Vista began muted sound of my computer when I lock the system. It did not before. I don't understand how or why it started. This has caused some applications to stop using sound altogether when I unlock the system.  I don't want Vista to turn off sound when it is locked.  How it stop doing that?

Thanks for the reply.  I could solve the problem. I had a number of non-essential Windows updates that were listed in Windows Update.  I upgraded to MS Security Essentials, 2 security for MS Visual C++ and nVidia Display updates.  Also, I used Vista to find the updated drivers for one of my cards (Realtek HD Audio sound), and he said that my driver is up to date.  But I found a newer Realtek HD Audio driver from the Realtek site and updated with it.  I rebooted after the two installs (updates of Windows were in a facility) and tested my audio problem / locking and audio stayed on when the PC was blocked, that's what I wanted to like Vista of inhibition during the closure was causing problems with use of some software 3rd party audio after you have unlocked.

  • Lock the DB file to remove Application guide to prevent

    Hello

My Application uses a SqLite database to store data. But once the Sqlite is created by the application, the user can simply close the application, browse the file system to achieve the .db file, then delete it.

I want to know if there is any way I can prevent the user to delete the .db in a way. The application must be able to delete the database.

Something like what we have in windows in which, if a program or software using a file and then we try maually remove, we get a dialog box saying "cannot be deleted. It is used by another person or program ".

"tested... and I can say that in blackberry, you can delete the file, although still in use. "

    It's a little scary...

I, when I had batch files that I wanted to not deleted, marked them as hidden, but I don't know that you can do to a SQL database.

Aside from that, sorry no idea, hope someone else has.
