  A little strange because I've used these signals of MAX and vi encoders.

  Since yesterday, when I start my vi, this text box comes out:

  Industry produce el error you esta ocurriendo, you can test following pasos para checar esto lo soluciona if:

  1. place activate Encoder.flx on the block diagram of the VI main and double click it to open the front panel.
  2. make sure that the correct card ID is selected and toggle the Boolean value in terms of the encoder to encoder 1FUS sure it is enabled.
  3. run Enable Encoder.flx

  3.1 check if you can read encode in MAX
  4 run read encode Postion.flx check if the error is displayed.

  I am trying to connect laptop directly to Compact Rio 9073 and trying to figure out the IP through Max first time, MAX shows not all of the parameters because he know that "you must install microsoft silverlight..." Ok... I downloaded and now it says something errror script on the web page (due to the installation of silverlight?)

  I've tried versions of silverlight 4 and 5. The system is Windows XP and the version of labview 2009.

  What version of MAX do you have?  If you have a version 4.7, I strongly suggest upgrading to 5.0.

• Issue of Netflix with Silverlight on Mac: error 2104

  The problem: when you try to watch ANY movie on Netflix, I get an error message 2104.  Possible solutions (see below) to this problem do not work.

  If anyone has any ideas beyond those I've tried higher on the resolution of this problem and don't mind sharing ideas, I would be very grateful!

• cRIO 61 max error code

  Hello

  I'm with a group that has used a cRIO for a few months.  It has been working well since May with a soft embedded on the controller running without modification.  Today, I was not able to connect to the target (right-click on the target in the Project Explorer > connect) causing same LabVIEW crash.  I went to the MAX to try reformatting and reinstalling the software NOR-RIO.  Re-formatting worked fine, but when I go to install the software, it gives me ' operation failed with error code: 61.  The FPGA is actually still running a VI that was downloaded in its flash memory.

  The only strange thing that happened recently to this unit was when it was connected to a low power, and the cRIO may not have enough power to turn on properly.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  We were putting together some footage for OR week!

  well, I called support, and apparently, it's a problem of compatibility between NOR-RIO 3.1.1 and LabVIEW 8.6.0 (must be 8.6.1).

  We got around this by downgrading to NOR-RIO 3.0.1.  Its a known problem and there should be a Base of knowledge about this article soon.

• Help! Try to install Silverlight, I get error "ordinal 481 not found in the dynamic link library iertutil.dll".

  I am running the latest version of Chrome, windows XP. The first time I tried, the program could not find "iertutil.dll. I used revo unistall to remove Silverlight, down downloaded/installed the DLL, downloaded again Silver and got this error when I tried to install.

• MAX error OR by reading DI

  Dear all,

  I installed 6023E PCI and PCI 6514 DAQ cards in my system. I use 6023E card PCI to ISA and PCI-6514 for DI & back.

  I installed NI MAX (Version 4.7), NOR-DAQmx (Version 9.1.7) & LV Runtime Engine 2010 SP1 software separately from the CD, I do not have with the PCI-6514. Now I am able to generate a PPI 6514 & could acquire 6023E ICH AI but cannot read card PCI-6514 DI.

  I checked possible problems are:

  1. check the input voltage levels; This is 24V (exactly 23.08V)

  2. change the port lines and same port itself

  3 lines for the port are grounded whenver I change the port

  4. even directly supplied 24V in DI (100 pins CB) but not able to read the DI Max

  I suspect either the PCI-6514 card does not work properly for DI or MAX does not work

  but in this case how back and AIs work?

  Please help me if one were faced with this problem or have a solution for this...

  PROBLEM SOLVED...!

  Real problem was with cable NI SH100-100-F.

  I just deleted and reinserted it properly and problem solved.

  But how that can happen, before it was inserted perfectly alone; as I said most upper back worked very well only problem has been said. If it was not inserted correctly back must also be does not work.

  in any case, I think this thread is useful when debugging hardware problems...!

• [HELP] NOR error of MAX and locking of the...

  I have a NI SMU 1062 q and NI SMU 8135.  Windows 7 Professional 64 bit installed.

  I removed all the software OR using the control panel and then installed NI Developer Suite 2012. As part of the installation, the following has been installed:

  NEITHER Developer Suite Core

  Option deployment on FPGA (excluding the Compilation of Xilinx 10.1 Tools)

  Automated Test option

  I2C & SPI

  NOR Serial + VISA

  When I start OR it MAX errors with an exception. If I keep it then crashes. All menus are gray! He worked (with error), but now it crashes completely.

  I have attached the dump file and log.

  Also in the basket are:

  PXI-6509 DIO card

  PXI-7953R + 5734R DAQ + FPGA

  Controller USB CB2-1-PIPE

  PXI-2503 switch

  PXI-4070 DMM

  OR PXI-8430/4 RS - 232 card

  It worked in the end.

  The PXI chassis came pre-installed with a few cards that we had ordered. I think that NEITHER installed the drivers for these cards (probably more by 2012). Then, I removed all the software OR in the Panel and installed NI Developer Suite 2012. I think the drivers clashed. I did a restore complete system image to disk and re-installed NI Developer Suite 2012 and it was fine.

  You work with the cRIO. If the list of modules can not coming to the MAX. To identify the problem create an FPGA application and discover the modules of series c in LabVIEW. You will get the list of modules in FPGA parent in the tree. If you still feel a few question to detect the open your file INI LabVIEW module and copy past "cRIO_FavoriteBrand generic =" line.

  I try to rename the new VISA of I2C alias for "I2C", but NEITHER MAX errors because the "I2C" is already assigned.

  I can't delete "I2C" without connecting the former Council (which is broken in this scenario). so, how to remove the "I2C" alias without taking on the jury?

  I expect the "reset Configuration data", but cela will reset all defined aliases. There must be a better way?

  Maybe it's a little different so I 14.5 MAX.

  Max:

  Tools-> NI - VISA-> VISA Options
  In general settings select alias
  Select the Alias that you want to remove
  Right-click-> clear Alias

  You can then give this alias to the new Commission.
