  When you set up Windows, you must create a user account.   Personally I do not recommend the use of the Dell Support Center. It is buggy and intrusive and not particularly useful. You'd better uninstall applet programs & features in Control Panel. Since you didn't say what the other program, I can't help you more specifically. Maybe it is not compatible with Windows 7, or you have to right click on its (often called something like setup.exe) Setup program and choose "Run as Administrator". With regard to your created username, please see below for you save some future aggravation.

  General recommendations for creating users in Windows 7:

  You absolutely don't want to have only one user account. Like XP, Vista and all the other modern operating systems, Windows 7 is a multi-user system with integrated system of accounts as default Administrator and comments. These accounts should be left alone because they are part of the structure of the operating system.

  I have recently implemented a new host, G9 DL380 running ESX 5.1, 5.1 VSphere which showed already performance data in summary/resources and graphics in the performance section, but in the last two weeks, I noticed his is no longer showing any settings at all.
