  Head over to C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\PProHeadless and 6.0 and rename it old6.0. Reboot the machine and then launch the product. I hope this helps.

I have the scan icon and can perform these functions, but the Printer Wizard I would check the ink levels, troubleshoot, clean the print heads, print diagnostic reports, that everything I used, so, basically, I lost this feature.

  I managed to find a solution that is good enough to make me happy!  I posted the details in the other thread, and I hope that it might work for you too.  There are a couple of minor NAGs with the solution and I still think that HP have work to do to find out what causes this problem for people, but I think you will find that it is much easier to reinstall windows!
