Logic to insert a reference into an active Doc

Hello

I am facing problem by inserting the xref in the document that Xref is bound to Figure in the different document. I don't get the logic how can be established using Script stretch. Please guide me how it can be done. If possible, please provide us with the example Script.

Thank you and best regards,

Lohithkumar

I don't have code to do this, but can give an insight into what I believe is required, which is not tested and may be incomplete:

  • At the beginning of your paragraph Figure, place a marker by calling Doc.NewAnchoredMarker)

    • Get the default properties used to create the new marker by calling Marker.GetProps)
    • Change the MarkerTypeId property returned to the type of marker 'XRef ':
Use Doc.GetNamedMarkerType () to retrieve the id of the type of marker
    • Change the MarkerText property returned to a single string
    • Change the other properties returned as needed
    • Update the properties of the new marker by calling Marker.SetProps)
  • To the location of your reference, insert an xref by calling Doc.NewAnchoredFormattedXRef)
    • Get the default properties used to create the new cross reference by calling XRef.GetProps)
    • Change the returnedXRefFile property to the file containing the marker
    • Change the property returnedXRefSrcText to the unique string in the marker
    • Change the poroperty to returnedXRefFormat depending on the needs:
Use Doc.GetNamedXRefFmt () to retrieve the id format
    • Change the other properties returned as needed
    • Update the properties of the new cross reference by calling XRef.SetProps)
  • Update of the cross reference cy calling Doc.UpdateXRef.

I'm sorry, but I don't have the bendwidth rght now to give further assistance.

  • Using CS3, I want to insert a picture on the active page of my site folder. What is the best way to do it?

Using CS3, I want to insert a picture on the active page of my site folder. What is the best way to do it?

The current folder simply reflects what you have already inserted in your site.

Save images to your Site Local DW folder from your graphical application or move/copy using the file manager of your operating system (Mac Finder or Win Explorer).

In DW, use the Insert menu to insert images directly into your web page.

  • I have two docs pdf I used Acrobat to convert word documents.  How can I extract a single page of a doc to be inserted into the other doc?

I have two docs pdf that I converted into Word using Acrobat Pro documents.  How to extract a single page of the first RFSO and insert it into the second doc?  When I "select all" he seized the entire document.  I need to take pages, other pages and change some of the text.

    HI djlarp,

Try to triple - click the text you want to select - it can sometimes be difficult to select text in a document converted. If this does not work, it could be that the PDF document is created from a scanned document and OCR is not enabled when you converted the document. (However, OCR is activated by default when converting via ExportPDF site.)

If you are unable to select text by triple-click, let us know. I'd be happy to look more closely at your files.

  • "Please insert a disc into drive I" error message problem. Help, please!

I get the error message "Please insert a disc in the drive I" when I try to attach a drive external hard (in a case of hard disk) via a USB 2.0 to my Dell Dimension 8400 computer. I am running Windows XP Prorfessional.

When I attach an external hard drive that comes with its own enclosure as a Western Digital MyBook via the same cable USB 2.0 the following happens. Windows Explorer shows the new disks I and J. If I try to open the drive I have, I get the "Please insert a disc into drive I"message.» However, when I try to open the drive J I'm able to do it and see the files, in this case, the Western Digital MyBook. I can also open these files.

I searched the Internet for solutions to this problem. In some cases, the problem can be solved by renaming the drive letter, but this does not work in my case. Most of the sites I visited fail to provide a solution. Very many missions I've read on various sites, the problem seems to be related to error messages has Microsoft Windows. The solution would seem to have to disable this / these messages by changing the relevant parts of the registry. (See: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-system/logonuiexe-no-disk-there-is-no-disk-in-the-drive/7a158e14-6a56-4bfd-b1b5-796c3ccea3b0?page=2&tm=1341781513552, http://www.w7forums.com/please-insert-disc-into-drive-error-t11264p2.html, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/281345)

Unfortunately, the information that I found are too vague and contradictory to me. Microsoft seems to suggest changing the value of ErrorMode in CurrentControlSet so that the user gets more no error message 'hard' (modification of the: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows\ErrorMode value = 2). However, this suggestion for the backup of SQL Server databases. It also seems a bit drastic to turn off hardware error messages. In another post the suggestion is to delete upper and lower filters in the section of the registry that controls the hard drive. The problem here is that you may have to reload the software. Also, I'm afraid I'll mess up the registry.

I would be grateful to anyone who could tell me what parts of the need to register to edit and how to disable this message ' Please insert a disc in the drive I have. "

I suspect that the boxes of hard drive that does not open professional XP are somehow corrupt. Unfortunately, the error message keeps me from use any diagnostic software to examine the hard drives in these speakers. In this regard, I would be grateful to anyone who might suggest a diagnosis good freeware hard drive.

    Hello

This can happen if you have conencted some disk of the machine that has pictures and you have set up the photos in the screen saver.

You can try to change the photo screensaver can access the registry path if it exists.

    a. Click Start, type regedit in the search box and press ENTER.

    b. navigate to the

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Gallery\Slideshow\Screensaver photo

    c. If the screen saver is mentioned in the settings, then on the right you will see "FolderPath".

    (d) the entry for folderpath should be C:\Users\Public\Pictures\Sample pictures

    e. If isn't changing for the above entry.

    f. exit the registry editor, restart the computer and check.

Important: The above mentioned steps show you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.

For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, follow the steps from the link below:

1st problem: yesterday I started getting a popp window with the text following formulation - "there is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive \Device\Harddisk1\DR1' I have no idea what this introduced him or how stop it.  Any suggestions?

2nd problem: whenever I restart my computer or shut it down and then power up the white bar that moves from left to right only moving to halfway through and then stops. I then have to hold the power button in until the computer turns off again and then rehit the power button. When it starts to power back up the white bar is always in the Middle, but then begins to finally complete the passage to the far right of the box. This problem started when I loaded the software for my printer Canon MX870 new that I bought and installed in October 2010 and has been done since then. I removed and reloaded the software of the printer on three different occasions but the problem persists.
