Try to install the program by using the original installation media".

  My school has 20 Vista Home Basic Dell computers.  We have used for about a year and would now have a standard installation, config and the office.  Can I use a product like Acronis, Ghost, fog, or Clonzilla to get a standard image for these computers?  When I asked other forums, I'm mixing response.  Some say that you can not image Vista Home Basic...   I recently received this message when you try to start windows:

  It gives me the message on a completely black screen, then if you click on OK or exit it message the screen remains black. I did some research on it and found that a recovery disk should help me with my problem.

  I don't have a recovery for my computer disk, so I ordered a via eBay windows 7 recovery disc, from a user with 100% + comments, I got tired of the to use to repair my system, using the system recovery options, but when I used it I got a new error:

  This version of System Recovery Options is not compatible with the version of Windows that you want to repair. Try to use a recovery disc that is compatible with this version of Windows.

  I did some additional reading and also used the Bootrec.exe tool in the command prompt, but still no luck with the repair of my computer.
