lose control of the bluetooth mouse

Why am I often lose control of my bluetooth mouse.  Also, when you wake up my computer why screen lighten in stages instead of all at once.

What do you mean by "losing control?

Ignition of sounds not like a hardware problem. If it bothers you, I would take test/diagnosis.

  • Re: Satellite U500-115 - problem with the bluetooth mouse

    Hello everyone,

I use a bluetooth mouse Saitek mouse with my Satellite U500-115 (OS: windows 7) and a have a real problem that is boring:

Every time that I do not use the mouse for 10 or 20 seconds the pilot (or what ever) rocking in a kind of 'sleep', and it can take up to 1 minute until the mouse is available again. It is defenitely is not a mouse problem. I tried the mouse with a laptop LG and a windows xp sytem and it worked perfectly.

    I tried the following:

1 put in place the current on the site of Toshiba bluetooth stack--> having not caused no difference in behavior.
2 put the mode to 'Full Power' energy saving--> that seemed to have some positive effect, but not always. Sometimes the time until the sleep mode begins seems to be a little more but not always. In the "Full power" the mouse seems to go back a little more quickly when he woke from the mode "standby mode".

Test: as I wrote this text, the mouse driver began the "sleep mode", now I'll move the mouse and take the time needed until the mouse will respond again a moment):
    45 seconds

Is it possible to put the bluetooth HID in some sort of "permanent way"? At least the touchpad also reacts independable mode of energy of the laptop; This is why I think that it should be possible to use a bluetooth HID in the same way.

    Thanks for any help!

    2. I removed the mouse devices and printers. Rebooted yet portable windows, then I tried step 1, do not judge.

I can't figure out how to remove this mouse. I think if can remove it from the registry or somewhere, I can add it again. Therefore, I am unable to remove it or connect.
I've been using bluetooth during a period of long devices now. I know that for to connect/pair of the device, it must be visible. The mouse is also very well, I can connect to other systems, I can use it even with my cell phone.

Likewise, it does not detect my BB Phone! Now, all is well with the Local Service.

  • Why the bluetooth mouse keeps on disconnecting in windows 8?

When I start win8, my bluetooth mouse works perfectly but after a while off work. I turn off the power to the mouse and turn to make it work again. But after awhile, it stop working again, so I turn the mouse off and on again to make it work. When the mouse stop working, the light of the mouse is always on so I know the mouse still works, but the laptop no longer responds to the mouse. The touchpad has no problem. I don't have this problem in win7.

I found a solution. What I did was to get in the Device Manager and expanded the Bluetooth menu. I have a click with the right button on each item and selection of properties until I found one that had a power management. Mine happened to be the Bluetooth Module. Once I entered the power management, setting I unchecked "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".

I did not reinstall all the software and everything works fine now.

Now Ive downloaded June DirectX run time package, re-downloaded the game download the latest DirectX web installer, thus, run as admin and tried a solve compatibility issues. None of them seem to work. If someone knows how to fix this please tell me.

    Hello

1 did you changes to the computer?

    2. this question involved playing the game?

    Method 1:

I suggest you perform the clean boot and check.

Place the computer in a clean boot state, then check if it helps. You can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: After troubleshooting, make sure the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the above article.

    Method 2:

I would also update you mouse drivers and the keyboard of the computer manufacturing and check.

  • Lost the dongle to my optical mouse Dell R 201 WW, you want to configure the Dell laptop to communicate with the Bluetooth mouse.

    Original title: Dell optical mouse

question: I lost my optical mouse Dell R 201 WW dongle.  Is it possible to set up my Dell laptop, Core i5 M (450) to connect with the mouse via BlueTooth?  Or do I have to buy a new dongle?  Thanks for any help.

The WM311 is a mouse RF 2.4 GHz not bluetooth so unable to connect without a dongle (support with the right model). Most bluetooth devices have the logo of the 'B' double triangle on the label

It is also likely that you will be able to re-pair to another dongle, they are coded to avoid 2 mouse interfere with each other.

  • The mouse loses the Bluetooth connection when left idle

I'm suddenly having a problem where the bluetooth mouse that works off the preinstalled Toshiba bluetooth stack.
loses the connection when left idle for a little while.

This was not the case before.

    What could cause this?
I just changed the batteries in the mouse, so it's not the question.
    Any ideas?

It is the forum on Toshiba laptops.
If you have a laptop from another manufacturer, then you should visit the website of the manufacturer of your laptop

In any case, the stack of BT from Toshiba page is the most recent which is available on the market, so it should work on your laptop.

  • Touchpad and bluetooth mouse on the Satellite P200-144 sensitivity

I have a P200-144, with the Synaptics touchpad.
I have also a Toshiba bluetooth mouse (the little mini one, useful for travel, don't know the model number).

The problem is the difference in sensitivity between these two: for the touchpad, I need the speed of the pointer to about 80-90% in the mouse control panel in Windows (Vista Home Premium); the bluetooth mouse, to be down by about 20%.

This allows using these two devices the boring time even if we need to adjust the sensitivity If you switch between them (which, given that they are both Toshiba devices, would have thought you they would consider the synergy).

Is anyway to control the sensitivity per unit?

    Hello

AFAIK, you can configure the touchpad and mouse settings independent of each other.

The touchpad should be configured as:
    * Control Panel-> mouse-> device-> settings settings *.

There you can choose the single options you want to change.

  • Grave at random out on Aspire S7-191 Bluetooth mouse - I may have found the solution!

I think I have found a fix for this problem and I wanted to share:

    1. stick with the installed OEM drivers.  Bluetooth and the wireless driver updates did nothing trouble with both of these services.  I made an update of the recovery key USB that I created and that he accepted no updates drivers wireless or bluetooth. I noticed that they are up to version xxx.234 today and I think it was xxxx.217 that I installed.

    2. go to Manager (Advanced) in the power of control device and power management and uncheck all the options 'allow the computer to turn off this device' in the tabs for each bluetooth and wireless device power management and each hub USB in Device Manager.  Do it on each power management tab, you can find.  In power in the control panel settings go to advanced and set wireless to "Maximum performance on the power supply AC and battery."

After doing this, my wireless signal was very strong and never lost a connection.  However, the bluetooth mouse would still randomly disconnect.  The fix for this is to go to the arrow upwards to the hidden icons in the tray and right click on the Bluetooth setting icon and select 'display settings '.  Make sure that 'Discovery' is enabled for bluetooth devices to search for the computer.  Mine was off by default for security reasons.  Finally, go back to the Manager under the mouse devices and other pointing devices > HID compatible mouse and make sure they all have the box checked to wake the computer. Once I did, the first movement of the mouse to wake up the bluetooth service and I don't have to keep resetting.

Note: I normally use a mouse from Samsung, but worked also for the Acer mouse included.

I answer my own original message:

I've recently updated Windows 8 to 8.1 Windows.  As part of the update, I've updated the drivers for bluetooth/wireless LAN. This resets everything back to default and I started having the Bluetooth and wireless issues once again.  Mouse Bluetooth stall and and iffy WiFi.  Person not convertible in a decent set of drivers for this card?

Anyway, if you do a bit of work you can do much more reliable:

    1. go in the bluetooth device settings and let "the bluetooth devices to find this computer.

    2. go into Device Manager > network adapters > Qualcomm Atheros xxxx > properties > Power Management

and uncheck the box "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power", then go to "advancedtab and together 'very high' roaming policy.»

    3. go into Device Manager > Human Interface devices.  There is a long list of HID compatible devices.  Right click on each one and if there is a power management tab, make sure that the computer is unable to turn off the device to save energy and conversely, let the device to wake the computer if it is an option.

4 do the same for "mice and other pointing devices and Bus USB controllers in Device Manager.  Again, do a right click and any element that has a power management tab must be changed to either do not allow the computer to turn off the device, or to allow the device to wake the computer according to the given option.

I guess that power management is a wonderful thing... but only in theory.

In reality, it's a major PITA with this card and others - but jumping through these hoops has solved the problem.  I am now rocking the long and had not yet BT or drops wireless and it used to happen about every 5 minutes.

  • Yoga 13 Bluetooth mouse problem

I use a Microsoft Bluetooth mouse sculpt with a 13 Yoga and every two minutes, the mouse pointer starts to wander and does not follow the movements of the mouse. This corrects itself after 30 to 50 seconds, but then it repeats every few minutes. I reinstalled on 23 October 2012 drivers wireless LAN and Bluetooth and the control of the Microsoft mouse software but the problem persists.

I don't have any other mouse driver installed (with the exception of the standard Yoga trackpad). I checked that there are no other devices Bluetooth active on Yoga or even anywhere around.

Can I do to find out what is causing this problem?

    Thank you, Ken

    Hi ken,.

Good to know it works. The mouse will continue to use the generic Bluetooth driver, as long as you don't download and install the new driver combo Wireless & Bluetooth.

    See you soon,.
