Microsoft sculpt the Bluetooth mouse wheel questions

Hi guys,.

I hope you can help,

Bought the mouse a few uninstalled months ago my old mouse software (logitech) and everything has been smooth, the wheel was working on applications and installed software. However, the bluetooth software went a little out of whack so I had to use my old mouse for unraveling and then reconnect the sculpture. Scrolling was working then all of a sudden, it stopped it won't work on anything whatsoever. I tried the following:

A system reset.

Uninstalling the software > reset > reinstall.

the support section for the mouse, I tried all possible solutions

I noticed in Device Manager that a compatible generic mouse HID was then I uninstalled that I think it was the reference to the logitech mouse also, I received a recent microsoft update and do not know if theres a conflict in the present?

Thanks in advance

John

  • Sculpt the Touch Mouse: mouse and keyboard not fully functional Center

I bought and installed a Microsoft Sculpt Touch mouse. The Strip in the center of the mouse has three buttons by default assigned to the previous Page, click Middle and Page Down. I installed the mouse and the keyboard Center (v 2.3.188.0) to reassign these buttons but it allows to assign the button in the middle of the band. How can I redirect the other two buttons?

Documentation for the mouse and the keyboard and mouse Center also says that I can assign macros to keys, but the mouse and keyboard Centre does not appear to include these options. How can I assign macros to my mouse keys?

    Thank you

  • Lost the dongle to my optical mouse Dell R 201 WW, you want to configure the Dell laptop to communicate with the Bluetooth mouse.

    Original title: Dell optical mouse

question: I lost my optical mouse Dell R 201 WW dongle.  Is it possible to set up my Dell laptop, Core i5 M (450) to connect with the mouse via BlueTooth?  Or do I have to buy a new dongle?  Thanks for any help.

The WM311 is a mouse RF 2.4 GHz not bluetooth so unable to connect without a dongle (support with the right model). Most bluetooth devices have the logo of the 'B' double triangle on the label

It is also likely that you will be able to re-pair to another dongle, they are coded to avoid 2 mouse interfere with each other.

  • Re: Satellite U500-115 - problem with the bluetooth mouse

    Hello everyone,

I use a bluetooth mouse Saitek mouse with my Satellite U500-115 (OS: windows 7) and a have a real problem that is boring:

Every time that I do not use the mouse for 10 or 20 seconds the pilot (or what ever) rocking in a kind of 'sleep', and it can take up to 1 minute until the mouse is available again. It is defenitely is not a mouse problem. I tried the mouse with a laptop LG and a windows xp sytem and it worked perfectly.

    I tried the following:

1 put in place the current on the site of Toshiba bluetooth stack--> having not caused no difference in behavior.
2 put the mode to 'Full Power' energy saving--> that seemed to have some positive effect, but not always. Sometimes the time until the sleep mode begins seems to be a little more but not always. In the "Full power" the mouse seems to go back a little more quickly when he woke from the mode "standby mode".

Test: as I wrote this text, the mouse driver began the "sleep mode", now I'll move the mouse and take the time needed until the mouse will respond again a moment):
    45 seconds

Is it possible to put the bluetooth HID in some sort of "permanent way"? At least the touchpad also reacts independable mode of energy of the laptop; This is why I think that it should be possible to use a bluetooth HID in the same way.

    Thanks for any help!

    Hello

Go to Device Manager, click Bluetooth radios and choose the generic bluetooth adapter. Then, right-click and select power management properties, umark, allow the computer to turn off this device to save power and press Ok.

I don't have a bluetooth mouse, so I can't check if works. Just assume...

  • Unable to connect, detect, remove the bluetooth mouse

I have a bluetooth mouse that appear in devices and printers, but I can't connect to it.

    That's what I tried.
    1. I tried to search (add a device) and the mouse discoverable/visible. Windows does not detect it.
    2. I removed the mouse devices and printers. Rebooted yet portable windows, then I tried step 1, do not judge.
    3. once I find the hardware changes in Device Manager, it automatically adds the mouse to devices and printers. I am not able to uninstall this mouse from my system.
    4. I've seen devices hidden in Device Manager and removed the mouse and all bluetooth HID, same enumerator Bluetooth devices. Then I rebooted. I tried the first step. Windows does not detect it. When I check for changes in the Device Manager it add the mouse again.
I can't figure out how to remove this mouse. I think if can remove it from the registry or somewhere, I can add it again. Therefore, I am unable to remove it or connect.
I've been using bluetooth during a period of long devices now. I know that for to connect/pair of the device, it must be visible. The mouse is also very well, I can connect to other systems, I can use it even with my cell phone.
Other information that may be useful.
    Windows 7, Logitech v470
Service Bluetooth starts automatically. under the local system account logon
Bluetooth support service will start automatically, logon under the local system account.
    Enumerator Bluetooth is installed.
I'm using icons improved in devices and printers

Same problem with the same mouse. Found in some way, by using the system account Local indicates that the Bluetooth service is started, but it doesn't seem to work. I changed Local Service as a user to start the Service of Support of Bluetooth and there's. Everywhere it is documented to change the Local System account, and this does not work! Likewise, it does not detect my BB Phone! Now, all is well with the Local Service.

    Original title: Bluetooth mouse

I have an of travel Dell WM524 wireless mouse that uses bluetooth 3.0, but I had to reset my computer and after I did I can not connect my mouse. I try to add the device to bluetooth devices and it seems, I select it and click Next, and then he said: "that has not worked. Try again and make sure that your mouse is still detectable." My mouse is right by my laptop and I'm under window 8. All solutions?

I had the same problem but I found the fix after weeks and weeks of searching, note this work only if you are running windows under bootcamp or dualboot with other os

all he need do is désapparier the Bluetooth on any other place you have paired it with.

for me am running windows under bootcamp and I had my bluetooth mouse and a bluetooth keyboard paired under osx.

Once again, if you have the device paired to another operating system via bootcamp or dualboot please disable pairing it.

    "instruction".

    1. remove the battery of the device

    2. turn off windows and log in other os

    3. Remove/désapparier the bluettoth device

    4. If you have mac os remember to do the following

"Click OK on top of your mac, click on go to folder, type the following ' com./Library/Preferences/com'", delete this file, turn off Bluetooth and now restart in windows ".

  • Why the bluetooth mouse keeps on disconnecting in windows 8?

When I start win8, my bluetooth mouse works perfectly but after a while off work. I turn off the power to the mouse and turn to make it work again. But after awhile, it stop working again, so I turn the mouse off and on again to make it work. When the mouse stop working, the light of the mouse is always on so I know the mouse still works, but the laptop no longer responds to the mouse. The touchpad has no problem. I don't have this problem in win7.

I found a solution. What I did was to get in the Device Manager and expanded the Bluetooth menu. I have a click with the right button on each item and selection of properties until I found one that had a power management. Mine happened to be the Bluetooth Module. Once I entered the power management, setting I unchecked "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".

I did not reinstall all the software and everything works fine now.

  • Sculpt the tactile mouse Windows XP

So, stupid me, I just bought a Sculpt Touch mouse to use with my work laptop. Has not even read the package, just thought that it is a mouse with bluetooth, my PC has that, it works perfectly. Except that it is only compatible with Windows 7 or 8 - my company is still (for now) using Windows XP.

Is it possible to install/hack a driver under XP to allow this mouse works? I can't go back because the store is closing.

    Thank you

  • Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 question

I've been using the Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 with my laptop Sony VAIO under Vista Home Premium for almost 6 months. A few days earlier, I was transferring a file from my laptop to my phone via bluetooth while the mouse is connected. During this operation, the cursor of the mouse began to move eradically in the branch on which I show the mouse. He was slow and jerky by following my movements. I had noticed this behavior in previous proceedings, all in my phone and pc were in communication via bluetooth. To fix this issue on all other occasions, I would be simply to disable the bluetooth mouse that had completed the transfer and then turn it back on and it will behave as expected. On this occasion I hit by mistake the detectable button on the bottom of the mouse instead of the power switch. The mouse came into discoverable mode, indicated by the alternating flashes red and green battery light, and the cursor no longer responds. Then, I turned off the mouse and turned back, waiting for his execution to return to normal. However, he was always insensitive. I tried to add the mouse using the bluetooth devices Wizard, but as Research Assistant for the devices mouse is not discovered, although it is in discovery mode. So, I fixed my drivers bluetooth supplied with the laptop, but no change. Interestingly, in the device under the mouse Manager, here's my touchpad and a hid-compliant mouse, if I don't have another mouse connected. When I turn off my bluetooth power, this device disappears from Device Manager and reappears when the power is turned back on, despite the bluetooth mouse not lit. I can still communicate with my phone via bluetooth, but not the mouse. Microsoft sent me a new mouse, but I do not expect this to solve the problem, because I think it's a software problem. Someone at - it ideas? If you would like more information, I can certainly do...

I had the same problem the year last on a Dell XT; Ms sent me a new mouse BT 5000 and still had the issue. I gave up and updates several months later and unknown, the machine worked again. Today, I tried to use it on another laptop and worked well. I went back to my XT and the red LED flashing (detection mode) is back. Now, it will not pair with a PC. I think the problem is with the mouse it self. He becomes confused and stock in a mode that is not really "detectable" or bc no BT device cannot be found. Remove the water for long periods only resets NOT to be. I finally make it work but don't know what not solved the problem but that's what I did: disconnected (off) BT on PC, which is held to discover button mouse while turning power off, battery removed from the mouse. BT on PC has and began to search for devices of BT, replaced batt in mouse and turned on, you press on discover button mouse (PC is always looking for a device), and he appeared! I chose it and the red light stopped flashing and works well.

Note that I tried everything back several months ago on the different versions of hosts BT running on XP pro with no luck. Now I use Win7 and this procedure was performed on a Win7 OS PC which seems to be more stable. Hope this helps someone. Sorry I could not be more specific about what is perhaps the question; I still don't know! :)
