I have 2 questions and I don't know if they are related. Several days ago I was doing some cleaning and uninstalling programs to free up space. I don't know what I started with, but it seemed to go ok. However, after all that I've tried to uninstall gave me the message: Please wait until the current program has finished uninstalling or one. I rebooted the computer more than once during this period, but it still says that.

Yes, it's windows 7 I appreciate the suggestions, but the problem was that he wouldn't LET me not uninstall anything. He gave me the waiting message please do anything, and he's not missing if I stopped and restarted. Finally, I gave up. • Is it possible to shut down the computer, close a current program and save your work, only using hotkeys in Windows?

    original title: Keyboaed shortcuts?

Hello, anyone know how to stop the computer, close the current program and save the work using only the keyboard in Vista Home premium?

Thank you for your time and efforts to this issue.

    Kind regards

    Jazzie5.

    Hello jazzie5,

In addition to what Tom SC suggested, you can close a window or the current program by pressing Alt + F4.

The common shortcut for recording of the work is CTRL + S. I advise to use this command before you press Alt + F4 to close the program, although many programs will prompt to save your work if you do this before you save it manually.

    Bonus keyboard shortcuts:

Task Manager: Ctrl + SHIFT + ESC

Close the tab in the browser: Ctrl + W

Switch between tabs in the browser: Ctrl + Tab

  • 'Please wait until that the current program is finished uninstalling or change'

Im trying to uninstall a program and when I click on uninstall it says: "Please wait unti the current program is finshed uninsatlling or that" it says always that what I'm doing.

    Hello

This question has been answered here:

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/windows_vista-windows_programs/error-when-uninstall-a-program-Please-wait-until/9a32c111-F3B7-4079-BB4A-f781fa8f12ee

    I think you should try:

#1 restart your system and try again.

#2 check that the software is not running in the background.

#3 try a 3rd party uninstaller but be careful because you don't have much control over how a 3rd party uninstaller effectively uninstalls - sometimes they leave "debris" that can affect future use.

    Kind regards

  • Anti-virus deleted last year is still on my PC and my current program

An antivirus program, I deleted a year ago is still on my computer.  I use Earthlink Protection Control Center and recently found that Spyware Doctor™ Antivirus is still in force on my PC and compromising my protection against malware.  I was unable to remove it or disable it; "activate" and "update" Windows security buttons are greyed out.  How can I get rid of the offending program?

    Hello Allie49,

    ·         The Spyware doctor appears in the list of programs installed on your computer?

You can try to remove the Spyware doctor™ antivirus from the list of programs installed on your computer.

    1. open programs and features by clicking on the Start button, clicking Control Panel, click programs, and then clicking programs and features.

    2. check if you are able to locate the Spyware Doctor in the list of programs, and then click on uninstall.

If you are unable to remove the antivirus from the Add/Remove Programs feature, you can try to uninstall with the Windows Cleanup utility.

You can download Windows Install CleanUp Utility starting from Microsoft Download Center:
