Lost access to Smart Net Total Care Portal

Hello

I've had access to the Smart Net Total Care Portal for awhile now and I logged on this morning, but now I've lost access to Smart Net Total Care Portal.  When I am connected now, it brings me to "Get access to Smart Services connection now" page.

Thank you

Hi Clark,.

It's a timing issue, there is a bug which seems to cause this problem.

Bug ID: CSCuw90441.

Thank you

Anusha.

My smart-net-total-care portal does not show inventory and Segments see the other admins.

Our "Managing Director" has installed a collector who submits an inventory of our company on the Smart-Net-Total-Care Portal.

When I log in to see the information of the collector (https://tools.cisco.com) I do not see the inventory collector, I can only see its "manually downloaded CSV stock."

I got rights to see the data by this 'Managing Director' and I waited for the weekend for the website reflect this - but my opinion has not updated.

How can I get the web portal to show all our accounts inventory of the collection?

    npicard,

Thanks for your help so far.  I am a Director of a company on behalf of Mark.  I have over 7 days, deleted his role (not his association) and then reactivated it after waiting 48 hours.  Mark has been able to see the results of the present.  Once he was able to reconnect that he had the same problems with not being able to select the correct and most recent inventory.

It's one of the reasons why, in another post I think you are familiar with, I asked Cisco to remove previous inventories to not exactly cause this type of confusion that we are trying to transfer this system to our operations department, whose brand is a key member.  Things do not go well.  Please let me know the status of the present and speed if possible.

  • Cannot save the new DA with Cisco Smart Net Total Care

I get the following error when configuring a Director of several browsers. I also cleared my browser cache.  Any ideas to go beyond this issue?

"We encountered an error while processing your request. Please refresh this page or try again. »

It was first recording attempt of DA, but group account has been used and we got after the support response:

Thank you for your request to become a Managing Director for Smart Net Total Care. Unfortunately, this application using what appears to be a shared account. Cisco access policy requires that each account is associated with a single person, and this policy must be strictly applied when this account is used to manage access to other accounts. Smart Net Total Care registration must be performed by a competent person, using their individual Cisco.com account that clearly identifies them by name. Please re - submit a new registration request online by using your individual Cisco.com user ID. Once this request is received, we will proceed with your Smart NET Care total integration.

Maybe there's some cleaning must be performed in the database before the client can retry to register?

  • Disable the FTP server on the server of the Smart Net Total Care collector?

Quick and easy question, hopefully: How can I disable the FTP server on the server of the Smart Net Total Care collector? I saw not one obvious way anywhere.

    Thank you!

    Hi Luke,.

SSH into your collector using the "collectorlogin" username and password. If you have not generated that yet, then SSH as 'admin' and create with the command:

    pwdreset collectorlogin 180

and save the password it generates. Now SSH for the collector using 'collectorlogin' as username and the password have given it previously.

    Now, enter root:

    Su-

    Now, run the command:

    touch $CSPCHOME/donotStartSyslog $CSPCHOME/donotStartSnmpTrap $CSPCHOME/donotStartFtp $CSPCHOME/donotStartTftp; chown casuser:casusers $CSPCHOME / donot *; chmod $CSPCHOME 710 / donot *; epsc service restart

Who's going to disable SNMP, FTP and TFTP, interrupts which none are needed by the CSPC and can cause performance problems. After you have created these files, it automatically restarts the service of CPA.

    Thank you

  • Lost access to local data store

    Hi people:

I have ESXi 6.0 running on an Intel S2600CWTS motherboard using the LSI SAS controller onboard and six readers Samsung 850 Pro SSD in a RAID 5 configuration.  This server is about a month and a half, and it worked fine for the first month, but in the last few weeks I started to do in the case where journal messages saying that ESXi has lost access to the data store, then, most of the time, about 15 seconds later access is restored.   Several times it took more time, which one crashed the server.  On these long, the motherboard Intel event log showed that a player had failed and began a regeneration and once the motherboard has shown that two different drives had failed, and it took both offline originally ESXi crashing.  On it that I was able to bring the two records back online via the RAID bios and everything worked fine again.  I suspect that I have hard disk problems because these discs are new and because different readers have been reported as failed, and also because no data has been lost even if 2 drives went offline at the same time.   I guess I could have a bad controller LSI, or a cable has come loose somewhere, but I expect to happen if it is really the case of data loss.

I also noticed that lost access messages tend to appear in the log at the moment I start a virtual machine.  At first I thought that it would be one thing to flow, thinking a VM departure did a lot of IO, but this happens immediately, before even the bios of the virtual screen machine disappears, so I don't think that the virtual machine is actually reading the disc again.  In addition, as a precaution, I started the migration of some virtual machines on the server to the old server I still had available, and there is no lost access messages in the event log while that was happening, while about 50 megabytes per second of i/o has reached the disk during transfers.  I put the last patch on ESXi in mid-May, about two weeks before this started, and I begin to suspect that the patch may have something to do with it, because it seems to me that if something is happening between ESXi and the disk controller making hang up or lose interruptions during a short period of time , and I wonder if it goes pretty long if material in the motherboard sensors interpret this as some sort of hardware and simply brand failure according to readers I / O was hooked as bad then.

Unfortunately I'm out of town now so I wanted more I had to the remote server, lest I do not not get back to the top.  I moved a couple of the most critical virtual machines from the old server which I was remotely start and transfer to virtual machines.  I also noticed that this issue tended to occur more frequently when I got to the top of the VCenter Server apparatus that any other (sometimes to others, but has happened every time I tried to start the device VCenter).  So who was the first that I moved to the old server, but strangely enough there is no error logged when I transferred the files, so the issue is not that ESXi had trouble reading the VMs vmdk file when I started it.

I also wanted to ask you if there are any vibs for the LSI Megaraid controller on motherboard S2600CWTS I could install that would allow me to access the RAID controller without having to pick up the server and do it from the BIOS configuration screens, similar to how you can access the controller RAID from Dell while ESXi is running via a vib add-on.  So far I have not found one.

My intention when I go to the server is to run an integrity check against the RAID 5 array via the controller and then use the AIMÉ ESXi utility on the data store to see if something is wrong here.  If not, then I guess I'll rewritten can patch.

    Ideas or suggestions welcome.

Success!  I finally understood what the problem was corrected.  The problem is the fact that although the last vib driver LSI has been installed, for some reason any it would not automatically replace the default ESXi pilot lsi_mr3.  I did not notice that even though the latest driver package vib properly installed LSI controller was still using the original driver.  This could be considered by a 'esxcfg-scsidev - a' command showed that even "vmhba1 lsi_mr3 link-n/a sas.5001e67ca647e000 (0000:0: 00.0) controller LSI MegaRAID SAS Fury."  The second field after the controller (vmhba1) is the current manager used.  The pilot, which was to be used was: "vmhba1 megaraid_sas link-n/a unknown.vmhba (0000:03:00.0) Avago (LSI / Symbios Logic) Invader MegaRAID SAS controller.

To fix this I had to disable the lsi_mr3 driver so that ESXi is forced to use it.  The procedure to do is the following:

    (1) make sure you have the new EXSi driver you want to use already installed.  I assume that bad things would happen if you have disabled the only driver who could run your disk controller.  Use this command to view the drivers installed: "esxcli software vib list" and you should get something similar to the following:

[root@intelserver:~] esxcli list of software of vib

    [root@intelserver:~

Verify that the scsi-megaraid-sas driver is installed before proceeding.

    (2) to disable the lsi_mr3 driver do the following: "esxcli set of module system - enabled = false - module = lsi_mr3 '

    (3) reboot

After restarting, do: "esxcfg-scsidev - a" to check megaraid_sas driver is assigned to your disk controller.

I don't know how ESXi decided to prioritize if two or more drivers are applicable to a single hardware device, or if the installation of the new driver LSI process is supposed to disable or remove default lsi_mr3 driver and simply failed to do so.  Also, I don't know what's going to happen when I put on the next patch of ESXi, specially if the lsi_mr3 driver will be once more the priority.  If anyone knows how the driver installation process is supposed to work in this situation, please let me know.  I am so happy that I finally got this problem because the server has been seriously covered with the data store become unaccessable for 5 to 10 seconds every time a VM started or stopped, and the former driver at least once done something bad enough to deceive the controller into thinking that one of the disks has went wrong and began a RAID Resync.

  • Connect to the database that has lost access to a partition

    Hi all
Suppose we have a partitioned table that look in some storage (physically) different. If the database lost access to one of them, what happens? The database can be loaded? If the user is unable to connect to the database, what can we do to solve the problem (because one of the characteristics of partitioning is availability)? If a user tries to get some data (by request), oracle will declare that a partition is not available and so the information may be incomplete?
    Best regards

Interesting, above should work without error, as is explained in the following note:

    * How drop a Tablespace offline when the Partitions of a partitioned Table resides in [ID 267125.1] *.

I wrote my previous post based on my memory of a similar situation several months ago, but I tested it again now:

  • Portege M300 (PPM30A) - lost access to HARD drive recovery

    Portege M300 model PPM30A-02E001.
At some point during the installation a Sony camera I lost access to my hidden partition (HDDRECOVERY) where I can make the recovery disks.

I can see it in disk management tools, but the link is missing.

Is there a way I can make the link? "Brand recovery disc" icon is gone as well.

    Please, I beg you.

    Hello

Wait a moment, please: why you write about on the hidden partition HARD drive recovery? I think you mixed up something!
On Vista and Windows 7, there is a hidden partition, but it has nothing to do with the option HDDrecovery from Toshiba. This on the hidden partition is a feature of Windows, also called Windows recovery environment!

Normally HDDrecovery files are stored on the second partition in a file of the same name. Can you access the second partition?

If this isn't the case, I think the only chance is to order a new recovery disk. Therefore, you must contact the service provider authorized in your country.

  • IPhone 5 c updated to iOS 9.1; lost access Facebook.

Updated my iPhone 5 c with iOS 9.1.  Lost access to Facebook.  Tap the FB icon, it displays a blank banner and the screen, and then immediately jumps to the home screen.  Saved settings.  Powered on.  Disconnected and reconnected to the Internet wifi.  Any suggestions?

Assuming that we don't mean the application Facebook, try to erase recently used applications - double-press home button, slide up on the Facebook page, and then restart.  If it does not try to remove and then reinstall the application.

  • HP Total Care Advisor

The Total Care Advisor application has been removed from my HP Pavilion dv - 7 when I took it to Best Buy and they have 'cleaned' for me. I want to take back and I wonder if it is available as a separate download.

Used to be the only way was to run a recovery, but give me your product to the bottom of your unit number and I'll let know you if I see another way

Just in case, here is a doc on how to find the number for your product.

  • Lost access to the files on the hard drive.

After you use the SYSTEM RESTORE, my office has lost access to all my files of data written and the pictures on the hard drive.

I tried a backup disk or restart several months ago, but the drive will not read it!

How can I restore access to "My Documents" and other folders?

I use Windows XP with all updates of February/March 2013

    [Moved from comments]

    Hi Alan,

Thanks for posting your query in the Microsoft Community Forums.

According to the description of the problem, it seems that you have lost access to the files of data and images after doing a system restore.

I would appreciate it if you could answer the following questions to help you best:

    1. Why did you perform a system restore?

2 do you have questions about the computer?

    3. If so, please specify the question to better help you?

    4. What are the data and images file format?

System Restore will return all your files non-system as documents, email, music, etc., to a previous state. These files of types are completely affected by the restoration of the system.

Based on the current situation, I suggest you to Undo a restoration of the system after performing a system restore.

Check out the link and check if that helps.

If the problem persists, or you have any questions about the restoration of the system, do not hesitate to let us know. We will be happy to help you.

If I understand correctly, Windows XP indeed cannot replace printer drivers in certain circumstances.  The best way to go is to make sure that the old (maybe corrupted) driver is deleted and then reinstall the printer using an installation package of fresh driver (usually obtained by downloading from the website of the printer mfr).

    1. Unplug the printer.
    2. Uninstall the software associated with the printer using the control panel > Add / Remove programs.
    3. Open Printers and faxes and delete the printer (right click > delete)
    4. In printers and faxes, click file > server properties > tab drivers.  Select the driver concerned, then click on remove.
    5. Restart the computer.
    6. Run the installation package that you downloaded.  Do not connect the printer until prompted by the installation program.
  • HP Total Care Advisor - PC health and safety

    Hello

For some reason any my HP total Care Advisor is not picking up I have McAfee Security Center installed.  My McAfee is current.  It is a new brand of Tower and the only reason why I can guess that it is not picking it up is that it came with a free trial of Norton that I didn't install that I choose to go with McAfee instead.  Does anyone know of a work around to show him my McAfee?

Thanks in advance for any help,

    Kathy

    Hello

Run Uninstall HP total Care Advisor, it's a useless software. McAfee and Norton are not so good. Norton, sometimes even more problems give benefits. Try nod32 from Eset.
