Lost author.p12. What's next?

During cooling system and install the last Qde, lost the author.p12 certificate.

Now when you try to download an update package I get an error not corresponding package ID:

... was rejected. Package ID is required for all .bar file. If this is an upgrade, ID of Package must match ID of Package in the bundle of original file.

I tried to recreate it with the same name, pass, id of BB and get the same error.

What to do next?

Yes, that's correct.

    Hi all.

I have seen this error on several messages in the forum, but none of the suggested corrections works for me.

I am signing my App BB10 ready to be distributed. It draws very well and I also installed the two relevant files of the LSB and followed the registration procedure. The author.p12 and other files exist in %HOMEPATH%\AppData\Local\Research In Motion

However, when I try to run the following commands, it fails. I also tried to use the graphical help of BlackBerry Tablet OS and I get the same error.

The only thing I noticed is if I run: echo %homepath%, the result is:------. I can't change what I am on Windows 7 on an Active Directory domain and any changes made to these environment variables does not stick.

Is there a way to specify the path to the author.p12 file? Help, please! The output is below:

I corrected myself. I realized all I had to do was to create a local user (no AD) on my machine, copy RIM folder my HOMEPATH to HOMEPATH to the local user, then run cmd.exe as the local user and sign the binary file. Worked fine!

8.1.2 is the latest update for your version of iPhoto. The current version, iPhoto 9.6.1 is a big new upgrade and requires a purchase, but Apple has stopped the development of iPhoto. You can no longer buy the upgrade you need for Yosemite or El Capitan.

If you want to upgrade to El Capitan, migrate the Photos news for Mac, which comes free with El Capitan application your iPhoto libraries. See this document: updating Photos for OS X - Apple iPhoto support

I finally got it to work!

With Windows process monitor, I was able to find out where he was really looking for the key signature files.

Turns out it was looking for them on the remote network drive, although HOMEPATH is simply pointing to ' / '.

I have now copied the three files to a new folder \\server\share\username\AppData\Local\Research in Motion\. For me, which did the trick.

  • What's next?; Considerations to decide on the next steps in career path

    "So, what's next?

That is the question that I fear, simply because I have no answer. I remember when it was an easy question because I didn't have the choice. At school, your path is clear. Your program of study is determined for you, and you travel from one row to another year. Overtime, you are allowed a few privileges. You can start to select some courses and teachers and choose what semester to take different classes. Every now and then you may regret this category art that you registered, but the consequences for a poor class selection are simply boredom or a below average grade.

Increase of consequences of decision making
As you get older, increasing choices, increases in doubt, and the stakes for bad choices are triggered. The decision to go to College, pursue a vocation or joining the armed forces is difficult for many high school graduates. Even after that decision is made it must be lingering doubt. College majors are a roll of the dice. Most of the people don't stop in the career field they studied. Not that my science policy major only has not served me well... But this major college still offers a guide of course study and provides options for "what's next."

Increase in freedom and doubt sets in
You finally enter the labour market, and it's often where you see the ends of the predefined path. He has a great sense of liberation that comes with this new adventure. The world is yours for the taking. Everything is possible. And this freedom of choice has expanded in recent years. When I look at Baby Boomers, many of them had some kind of career path set before them. There was a focus on the scale of the company of mountaineering. This has changed. Generation y and the Gen Y discover their career as a gym jungle of sorts, swinging a new project and opportunity to another.

But does respond to old age "where you see yourself in five years?" question much more difficult. For many of us, the jobs we have 5 years do not currently exist. Personally, career opportunities, I've had over the past ten years have been made by oneself. I loved.

This is a great post.  I have struggled with the question of whether I should return to school and get my MBA.  I don't know the end of the day if he will really get me where I am trying to go - honestly, I'm not really sure what it is!  I think it's a good idea to take a little at a time and take a course or do some self-training on an area that you are interested in.  I think that it will lead you to your next step or confirm that you are not on the right track to allow you to take a step back and re-evaluate.  I think it is really always the key.  Take the time to really think about what aspects of your work that you enjoy and the tasks that you would be fine with leaving behind forever.  And of course, above all, stop talking about what you want to do or learn and just go out and do it!

  • Aspire V5 - 552G crashes, what's next?

Hi, I was wondering if you could guide me in what I should do next.

Recently, I decided to buy this laptop in August for College.

    http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16834314119

At first when I arrived it was very good and really works well, however I have noticed that the laptop crashed often, most of the time when the charger is connected. It crashed few matter what powerplan, I had. This accident required a start difficult, and the screen freezes, no blue screen. There is no sound from the speakers, but have headphones and wired headphones allowed you to hear the sound. Other times I hear a loud buzzing before stopping.

I noticed something strange about the accident, I fell a lot whenever I had just started my computer, if I was passing through the web, playing games or doing homework. But put on standby and opening it again, the laptop computer never crashed. Although the time varies when it crashes, it could be a few minutes after the opening of the computer for a few hours.

At first, I thought maybe would it be an overheating issue, but I usually get 25 c idle, 40-50 ° C on browsers and 55-70 ° C (rarely exceeds 70 ° C) when playing games. It crashed few matter the temperature of your computer and what I was doing, browsing the web or simply move the cursor on my desk.

It seems that whenever I put the computer to sleep, AMD Turbo Core stops, limit my laptop 2.1 Ghz and arresting him freezes. So I guess Turbo Core was defective.

On a side note, alt tabbing to another application that is full screen, seems to sometimes crash my computer, impose a difficult start, I can listen to the music and sound on the headphones (not the computer speaker), but all I see is a black screen and fuzzy, like a television.

I am currently on Windows 8, not planning on upgrading to 8.1 again.

What should I do how can now or I fix this?

    Thank you.

    Hi Sokher02!

Sounds like your laptop has developed a hardware problem. As it is still under warranty, the best thing to do is to contact Acer support for your region, and they can arrange a repair.

  • Dell Dimension E521 starts and stops on its own at random times... a lot of attempts to repair/restore without success! What's next!

Well, it's a bit of a long story, so I'll try to make it as short and easy as possible.

My grandmother had the Dell Dimension E521 for some time in December of ' 06.  She had filled the C: drive with a bunch of junk and mandated the bureau with many useless shortcuts.  Later in November 10, she told me he had begun to stop and start on his own time at random, so I tried to do what I could with antivirus scan (AVG Free Edition), remove applications and unnecessary programs and try to demand for system recovery short.  While that makes the computer run faster, it still started and closed on itself.  His house has only the dial-up connection (which is almost impossible to update anything), so I brought it to my house for the best connection around 01/01/11 (9 days ago).

I could update the AVG Free Edition and Windows updates, and it found and cleared, a Trojan Virus.  The Dell still started and shut down on its own.  My next step was to use the disc re - install for Vista Home Basic 32-bit.  He old programs saved in a folder "Windows.old" on the C: drive and completely re-installed everything back to the original.  After I checked in the "Windows.old" folder and recorded something she didn't lose (such as images and videos), I deleted as much as I could out of it.  The only thing I could not remove from it was 4 'driver files '.  For a while the computer trying to run 'chkdsk' on its own seizure began, but froze in the middle of it.  He finally ended the 'chkdsk' once and didn't try again since.  It downloaded and installed updates Windows of 100 or more on its own as well.

After all, it still does the same thing he has with housing starts and shut downs.  The closure of downs occur not just in the middle of the execution of a given program; they occur at any time at random, even if I use the computer in safe mode.  She always goes through the whole stops the process with the "logging off" and "closing" legends, it is not as if the electric system is down.  The start-up occur randomly as well, even if a stop is purposely through the Start Menu or hold down the power button.  Sometimes, he's trying to start and shut down on its own several times without fully load.

Again, sorry this is so long, but I would like to know if there is anything that can be done to get this thing to CUT IT OUT because my grandmother wants as his computer back!

  • What is 'Next Business Day Support'?

    Hello

I would like to know what it means 'Next Business Day Support'. Does this 'day business on-site"identical or something else?

For the moment, I'm interested a Latitude Dell laptop refurbished on the ebay.co.uk and the portable real is in the United States. The inscription says that there 3 years manufacturer's Dell warranty. When I asked the seller to this topic, what I are unclear responses.

"The way in which the guarantee was designed by Dell is that it must be registered using a USA based address."

Above was the first answer I got. And after further question, I got this.

"That's all this we know: according to dell it is: 'Next Business Day Support' January 2017"

I don't know what it means exactly 'Next Business Day Support'. I know that it guarantees are called 'Day working on-site' and "Next Business Day ProSupport", but never heard of "Next Business Day Support'. Is this something new?

As I am in the United Kingdom and the laptop is in the United States, the guarantee should be transferable after purchase. And I heard that only 'Service business day following on-site' is transferable on the international scene.

Could someone throw a light on the issue?

    Thanks in advance.

    LealMusic,

UK USA warranty transfer can be difficult on a system that we have sold. 10 x difficult for resellers. USA and UK guaranteed specifications differ and can not transfer. These ebay sellers move computers from one area to another without any real knowledge of our policies. You could get a laptop from them that initially sold off Japan Dell. My advice, find the phone you want on the Dell UK Outlet site, NOT a seller on ebay. Our site will explain your warranty offerings.

  • CatalystPublishCert.p12 - what is - it used to?

Hi, I had a general question concerning Adobe Flash Catalyst CS5, which is installed with Adobe Design Premium CS5.  If you go to:

    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash Catalyst CS5\plugins\com.adobe.thermo_1.0.0.273393

You will find the CatalystPublishCert.p12 file.  Anyone know what this cert file used for?  I noticed that if you delete this file, you can not build of Flash Catalyst AIR applications.  Is there any other use of this file?

    Thank you

    Andrew

    Hi André,.

That's right, this file is used when you publish your project as an AIR application.  However, we recommend not to remove the internal files in Flash Catalyst installation folder.  This can do a lot of problems.  Is there a reason that you tried to delete this file?

If you want more information on what is the file...  Creating an installable .air file, sign the file with a digital certificate (similar to how mobile apps require a digital signature).  Catalyst uses a fictitious certificate stored in this file to allow users to easily create a .air file to demonstrate a prototype in a native window outside the browser.  When you create a real software that is shipped to customers, you'll want to use Flash Builder or the command line to sign an application with your own signature rather than the fake certificate.

  • I just did the exam 1Z0-047 - what's next?

I just spent my first (internationally recognized) exam Oracle 1Z0-047. Hmmm, I got 83%. I think its good since its my first review, I felt I could do better up to 90% +. This article shows 9 chips of topics can I show review. The subjects, they mentioned that I know really well. I'll take the exam again? I don't think it's a big deal, probably 83% is good. Anyway, the test centre gave me a paper printed from my total score. They said that oracle will send another Certification to my address. Which Certification is official? The one that was given to me by the exam Center is a printed cert (black and point). We must I show employers?

I'm happy but also sad because I knew that the mistakes I made are stupid (I want to get rid of the bullet points argghhhh) + I did the review after having at least 3 months College hands on experience.

Congratulations. You did, and that's all that matters (except your pride).

Realize that issues are sometimes sensitive - the wording is intended to encourage the wrong answer, unless you're very careful. Thus, the "bullet points" can be simply a way of telling you to read more carefully.

Having said that - your next step is to decide what other certifications you want. http://education.Oracle.com/pls/web_prod-PLQ-dad/db_pages.GetPage?page_id=141 and this depends on if you want to become an administrator/operator or a developer. (To take?-ask a career Advisor, not us.)

As for who you show your employer - does not display unless asked. And when you get from Oracle, is the official, it's as well as to the need to present a passport.

  • What is next to my dock?

I have no idea how to do that question because I don't know what it is, but I get this little popup of the messaging application and the calendar application on the left side of the dock on my iMac.  What is this and how can I make it stop?  It is very annoying, and the only thing it does when I click it, it is open the application. (See part left of the screenshot there is the calendar app that keeps appearing so switch to the Mail app then disappear)

They are open on IOS, apps (iPhone/iPad/iPod) devices within reach of your Mac.
