Lost Dll file

Hi, I recently got chkdsk runs automatically at the start of my Vista system. When he had finished everything was OK except my provided free games (Freecell, hearts, Mahjong, Solitaire etc.) does not run. I get the error cannot find the XINPUT9_1_0.dll file.
Can someone tell me where I can get my hands on this file and directory to which it should be in?
Thank you in advance.
Kind regards

Hello

Welcome to the forum of responses to Windows Vista.

Here's what you can try to resolve your problem.

Method 1
Perform a scan of the file system [SFC] checker on the computer.

How to run scan SFC
1. click on the Start button
2. on the Start Menu, click all programs followed by accessories
3. in the menu accessories, right-click on command line option
4. in the drop-down menu that appears, click the "Run as Administrator" option
5 If you have the enabled User Account Control (UAC) you will be asked to consent to the opening of the command line. You simply press the button continue if you are the administrator or insert password etc.
6. in the command prompt window, type: sfc/scannow then press enter
7. a message is displayed to indicate that "the analysis of the system will start.
8. be patient because the analysis may take some time
9. If all of the necessary files any replacement SFC will replace them. You may be asked to insert your Vista DVD for this process to continue
10. If all goes although you should, after the analysis, see the following message "Windows resource protection not found any breach of integrity.
11 after the scan finished, close the command prompt window reboot the computer and check.

Method 2:
Re-install the games included with Windows Vista.
To install the games that come with Windows Vista, you will need to perform the steps below.

(1) click on start > Control Panel > programs > programs and features.

(2) click turn on turn Windows features on or off in the column on the left, check the Games check box, click Ok.

Kind regards

No! Sorry, I didn't explain it very well. You don't want to compress twice. H.264 should never be used as your last step!

Render queue rendering AE CC 2014 as an intermediate file. It would be something like Cineform, DNxHD QuickTime with QuickTime PNG codec with the Photo-JPEG codec, or something similar. Basically, you want a lossless (or near lossless) file of EI.

Then you take this file without loss in Adobe Media Encoder to create your deliverables.

Never, you might be able to do that, regardless of what you have. AE is notoriously difficult to play this way. There will be bottlenecks in places that you don't even think to look at sometimes. In the current state of EI, some things are just threaded single no matter what you do. Thus, a kernel will be cranking away while others are quite inactive. Or RAM can be maximally. • My coumpter droped 2 dll files why?

some how i9 lost it\ windows\system32\NvCpl.dll and c\windows\system32\NvMcTray how to find and download files?

If you are using an NVIDIA video system (whether on the motherboard or a supplement), the installation of the NVIDIA software added one or more startup items to launch the NVIDIA Control Panel.  They are set to launch and run whenever your system boots.

If it worked before and you have made some system updates lately, something is messed up with it or your system has an affliction of malware.

To see what commands look like, click Start, run and enter in the box:

    Msconfig

Click OK to start the System Configuration utility, and then click the Startup tab to display the startup items.  You may need to drag the autour columns to see things better and like msconfig isn't a Boot Manager (this is a troubleshooting tool) you can't "make of the display is wider.

Items with check box will be launched automatically once XP restarts.  With the checkbox elements are still "installed" but not set to start automatically every time you start XP.

The NVIDIA partners start lines see you in msconfig Startup tab will look something like this:

    RunDLL32.exe C:\windows\system32\nvcpl.dll, NvStartup
    RunDLL32.exe C:\windows\system32\nvmctray.dll, NvTaskbarInit

If the C:\windows\system32\nvmctray.dll or C:\windows\system32\nvcpl.dll files are missing somehow corrupted, inconsistent, out of date or wrong versions (maybe), when NVIDIA applications trying to launch, messages can appear like this (or even complain):

    Rundll32.exe - bad Image
The application of the DLL c:\windows\system32\nvmctray.dll is not a valid Windows image.   Please check this against your installation diskette.

    RUNDLL
    Error loading c:\windows\system32\nvmctray.dll
    %1 is not a valid Win32 application

If you don't think you use the NVIDIA Control Panel, you could simply disable the items is msconfig to prevent it to launch when you start your computer.  If you use Control Panel NVIDIA, deactivation of the elements and will leave your system without (perhaps not a good thing) NVIDIA Control Panel.

You could just go ahead and disable the startup items in msconfig (deactivation does not uninstall anything), restart your system and understand the functioning of your system.  If things get worse, you can rerun msconfig and reactivate the NVIDIA elements, but I hope it is your desire to fix things the right way.

Disabling items in msconfig is not really fix things and you will not have a NVIDIA Control Panel, but some people don't know what the NVIDIA Control Panel looks so can be good.  You will have stopped the message from popping up every time you start.

If you want to use the features of NVIDIA Control Panel, you must repair or reinstall your NVIDIA software.

The best way to reinstall the NVIDIA software is to visit NVIDIA support web page and let your system and recommend the best software for your system or that you get the right version of the software on their web page and download the latest package of video driver for your system software and install it yourself.

It is recommended to run the scan NVIDIA with Internet Explorer.

Here is the link to the support page NVIDIA for the scan:

    http://www.nvidia.com/download/Prescan.aspx?lang=en-us

Read the instructions, and then click the GRAPHICS DRIVERS button to start the scan.

Let online to take a look at your video system scanner them and see what he suggests for drivers and consider their analysis if they offer a new pilot.

Download and install the recommended driver and restart your system.

If following their indications do not straighten things, then follow these steps:

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, MSE, Comodo, etc..

Click Start, run and enter in the box:

    Msinfo32

Click on OK and when the system info summary appears, click on Edition, select all, copy, and then paste the information here.

For information about video drivers, expand components, click view, click on edit, select all, copy and then paste the information.

This will minimize back Q & A and eliminate guesswork.

There will be some personal information (such as the user name and the name of the system), and anything that turns information private for you, simply delete the pasted information.

When you have the time, I could do that too:

Perform scans for malware, and then fix any problems:

Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs:

    Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://malwarebytes.org/
    SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/

They can be uninstalled later if you wish.

This file does: C:\Windows\System32\RpcRtRemote.dll, come from Microsoft?

The file 'RpcRtRemote.dll' is continually popping up as a "bad Image" to start Windows.  After checking the updates from Microsoft, I ran Microsoft Security Essentials, and nothing has been reported, quarantined or deleted.  I manually check all the different types of updates available, twice a day (morning and evening), by using the Windows Update Application.  If NO update is available, I download and install it immediately.

Now, Windows is not yet put into operation, and I get the famous 'blue screen '.  The information reads, in part: "technical information: * STOP 0x0000007B (0x80786B50, 0xC00000034, 0x00000000 0x00000000).  I can't sent the "blue screen" or "System Recovery Options" Windows.

With my laptop older, I have studied many download sites "*.dll" allowing users to download replacement files "*.dll", but I do not trust all of them... at all.  The RpcRtRemote.dll file is listed in some of these sites, but I will not access them for reasons that I have with the ability to download malicious software.  Should I delete this file? or it's a critical Windows system file?

Can you, or someone, please confirm this for me? or can someone help me please what to do in response to the above mentioned "0x0000007B" error code?

I ran two of ' Microsoft Windows approved commercial scanner, check disk (chkdsk), and System File Check (sfc).  Both commercial scanners do not detect or return what whether negative... at least, that I can tell.

You the time and attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Is it possible to repair the file by a recovery by the laptop itself, or do I have to get a copy of Windows Vista to start over and do it this way?

    Hello

I read that some discussions in different forums and in most cases the new OS installation may solve this problem. The HAL.dll in place in C:\Windows\system32 then maybe you could solve this problem in copy this file from the Vista CD in this folder

You could start the unit by using a Live CD (linux or windows lice CD called PartBe or WinPE)

Hi, I bought an A60-723 for my education and one day I turned on my pc and it crashed, so I rebooted.

When I rebooted there are scratches on the screen from the top down. Until the loading screen windows might appear, I had an error that a certain .sys is missing or damaged. I used the recovery cd, but it did not help .sys sometimes a another file was missing (examples: ntfs.sys, setupdd.sys)

So I decited to format the entire disk. After that the bands would not disappear. And there was no error no that was asked to a bootable cd. So I inserted the windows xp pro cd and tried to install windows.

While Setup was loading it crashed ad loading of DLL files, and an error has been reported error code 7, as well as another 4 error

Anyone know what I need to do?

    Hello

About scratches, put service! There is something of physically wrong with your machine.

Regarding the startup problem, (do this test before putting service to the band-problem!) first try to use the recovery CD. Retrieve the device and see what happens. Do you find these missing errors file? If this isn't the case, at the same time, cause a little. Try to see if there is a "connection" between the bands and the missing files.
Get missing files-errors only when you see the scratches? Maybe these 2 problems are really from the same source.
In this case they should both set if you turn service.

    Hope this helps you.

  • Receive data at teststand dll file

    Hello

I have the function below in my dll file but I have a problem receiving parameters to teststand.

int GetEvent (pid int, char * msg, int & msgSize)

    PID is the input parameter

    * msg will be the received string

& msgSize will be the length of the received in full force.

Any idea on how to address this problem?

    Concerning

    Ray

    Hello Ray,

Are you accommodation TestStand using the type definition to set the function parameters in your call TestStand DLL? If so, TestStand generally expected of the input strings to be of type ' char *' and the output of the channels to be of type "char [x]", where x is a default size. It can also be simply 'char []').

Alternatively, you can substitute TestStand think is the prototype of msg and change string TestStand type C (const) to the C string buffer in setting property settings. You must also give the buffer of a default size that is larger than you would expect to receive in the field of memory size buffer.

Note that refreshing the prototype resets this substitution, so change the type library in the source would be preferable.

    I hope this helps.

  • retrieve the missing dll files in Vista

After starting, I get the messsage App Data\Roaming\new not found next.me\nengine.dll. As a result, the system blocks whenever it accesses a new screen after an early upward. How to restore this software? I have a recovery disc I made when I bought the PC in 2007, but no instructions on how to use it.

I now run malwarebytes and hitman. The results were not going as I was expecting from your instructions, but maybe it's because I tried malware a month ago but was reluctant to use without a recommendation. As a result, that my trial period has expired but he stll allowed me to do a full scan.

Malwarebytes reported 524 detected objects, but did not provide that they be withdrawn instead, it offered hibernation (maybe not the correct term) I chose to accept.

Hitman has identified 1 threat and 1 highjacker. and 67 pieces of malicious software. It also identified that a file does not exist - AppData\Roaming\Dropbox\-exe. It looked a lot like the file which has been identified as being absent whenever I logged on. He offered a repair option. I took the option to repair the file and remove malware.

I rebooted (twice) and the message that the dll file is not found no longer appears.

On this basis, I am happy to record a success and thank you for your help, expertise and patience.

It leaves me with a problem of what to do about the future with regard to protection against malware. It seems to me that my current anti-virus software is not fit for purpose. I am drawn to using malwarebytes and hitman, but I intend to completely change my COMPUTER (hardware and operating system) resources when my course ends in September, I won't take any short term decisions of others to pay attention to everything I do and what I have access.

So thanks a lot for your help.

  • call a .obj from a dll file

    Greetings!

I have a question calling a function in a .obj file (running specifically) in a .dll file.

At present, it will load the obj file and get a valid (non-NULL) pointer to the function, but then I get a general protection fault when I try to call the function.  If I mouse over the function pointer, the address is valid (although not NULL anyway) but the name of claims "unknown function.

I guess I'm not to expose the functions available in the obj file correctly, but the United States of __stdcall seems to make no difference.

It is new territory for me, so do not assume that this isn't something obvious that I'm just missing!

    Any help is the aprpeciated

First of all, your code looks correct. This leads me to think that it is perhaps a question Data Execution Prevention (DEP). The mechanism of LoadExternalModule/GetExternalModuleAddr was developed long before DEP has been poured, and it happens in time (for LoadLibrary/GetProcAddress). If you go into system settings Advanced window, it has a button for the Performance parameters. Click on that and it will bring up some tabs, which is Data Execution Prevention. Set it to "Turn on DEP for programs Windows and services only," restart the computer, then try your program.

I realize that even if this solves your problem, it may not be not possible to ensure that the DEP is disabled on your program must be running on all machines. Since you're at the point where you have to choose the way of the future, I highly recommend that you try to replace the static lib with a DLL. Certainly, a DLL must be related, and it cannot directly access the functions and variables in the program; This can make it difficult to adapt the code of the existing static lib. However, if it really is a separate logical element, it should be possible.
